To be honest, I still use this Trustwallet but for a hot wallet.
The thing that I liked most is this wallet compatible with several blockchains that could easily navigate your coins to another exchange.
But of course, if your purpose storing in the long term, I'll not recommend this wallet either. Disregard the security while it is easy to use in a convenient way as a hot wallet, not your cold wallet. It's better than using a web wallet like MyEtherWallet.
Exodus wallet would be preferable for me in IOS phones.
Hot wallet means that you use it repeatedly, and this wallet is bad as a hot wallet because you cant control TX fees and there is no RBF flag.
A few weeks ago trust wallet was found to contain a critical vulnerability related to generating private keys read it from
https://twitter.com/TrustWallet/status/1649699428733947906?cxt=HHwWhMDQvfq49OQtAAAAhttps://community.trustwallet.com/t/wasm-vulnerability-incident-update-and-recommended-actions/750786“To be free from the vulnerability, users must migrate their assets from the affected wallet addresses to new, non-affected wallet addresses,”
In short they say, Old accounts are still vulnerable to this hack.
You have a lot of good, open source options for both Bitcoin and Ethereum like bluewallet and NEW wallet then use trust wallet as a hot wallet for some shitcoins.
