I believe bitcoin and banks are well renounced investment platforms but many people prefer bitcoin investment despite is very risky because of high demands and rising price interest and banks on the other hand saves millions of people finances all over the world yet their investment interest is very small but less risky than bitcoin. Many people choose Bitcoin because they believe in it and are tired of being under the control of the financial sector. While many also still choose the banking sector because they believe in it, either way, both parties have something in common, which is '"believe." You will always choose to use and trust what you believe in.

To answer your question, first using the banking system for saving of money can not be seen or address as an investment, unless when you actually deposit those money under fixed deposit or which ever means of savings which the bank uses to give deposits a little reward. 

I choose Bitcoin rather than the bank because Bitcoin is an asset that gives me total control over it. I can spend it when I want and use it how I want. That's what total control is all about. Which the bank system doesn't give to their customers. Bitcoin's volatile nature makes me also choose it as an investment, since volatility is what makes it risky, but it's also what gives me a higher chance of earning a profit from it through price change.

The high demand of bitcoin doesn’t makes it risky Infact it will only help to minimize the volatility rate. Bitcoin is more preferable as an investment rather than having fiats in banks because with bitcoin you have total custody of your funds and this will help save the stress of having not to worry about bank closing down due to either bankruptcy or it’s likes. Bitcoin is a great investment asset because it hedges against inflation which makes it a great store of value. The decentralized nature of bitcoin which makes its price to been manipulated by a group of people or government is why it is my choice against fiat as an investment asset. Holding bitcoin as an investment also edges fiat because it has the potential to grow in price.

Neither Bitcoin nor the bank is an investment platform, Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, whilst the bank is a place where you keep your fiat currency, and perform other financial activities.

Bitcoin price is volatile, so that makes it a viable investment option, thus you can invest in Bitcoin if you are patient and you know how to keep it, definitely not in an exchange, but in a non-custodial wallet. Use the bank if you basically want to keep your fiat safe, but if it is attractive ROI you seek, thus you must be ready to take risks (and it isn't peculiar to just Bitcoin).

I do it in three ways: i keep fiat in the bank (but not as an investment), i keep Bitcoins in cold storage, that's my Bitcoin investment, and i have Bitcoins in a hot wallet i use when i want to spend Bitcoin.

Did you just say banks SAVE people’s finances? Hah! Good joke! Banks only screw up people. You just choose if you wanna be screwed short, mid or long term. It’s a business, not a charity, man!

Banks are slowly transforming. They’ve got to do this because:
1. CBDCs are on their way
2. Crypto is becoming more and more adopted.

Do you see a connection? CBDCs, crypto? They’re somewhat a similar subject, a digital currency. So if banks need to grow by adapting to the future and the future is Bitcoin, what are we even waiting for? Invest in a bank which has been doing banking for a hundred years or invest in something that’s changing the future as we speak?

Its a hard choice cause first of all. Bitcoin is somehow an investment on my opinion and leaving your money on the bank isnt comparable on bitcoin as investment. Bitcoin is highly volatile and the risk associated with it is very high and has cosiderable tisk apetite while in bank its not that much. Why? Cause how often a fiat currency price move far or low beyond its price? Onlt the value of it changes based on inflation. So if you are planning to invest and want more. I think you knew which have more chance of winning.

I would prefer to save my money in bitcoin for long term, the key word being long term. Bitcoin is a volatile asset, so if it’s money I may need anytime soon then I would be a good idea to save it in the bank. Saving money in the bank isn’t an investment, the primary function of the banks is to protect customers money and give loans to customers when needed.

Banking investment is compound interest and it's not an investment to be compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin is a general contribution of money by different people all over the world. The higher the number of holders and trading increases the price reflects to the trend and vice versa. While compound interest has to do with how much you invested into the bank. Another person's investment can not affect your investment; you earn nothing from someone else's investment. In bitcoin we all gain profits if someone purchases bitcoin. The value of bitcoin increases and fiat buying power is drastically falling. I'll choose both bitcoin and bank, but won't go for banking investment; compound interest.

People are made to believe that the bank is the most and the only reliable place to invest and keep our money, but the bank is really using our money for business and making more money with it, as they are just giving out little profit as a return on our investment.

Bitcoin is a store of value; land is also a store; and money is also seen as a store of value, but I think that money is not a real store of value because a real store of value appreciates instead of deteriorating in value. If one decides to keep money in the bank for some years (as fix deposit), the value of the money might have gradually deteriorated before the person decides to use it; even the little interest that the investment has earned cannot buy a thing in the market because the value of the money has reduced.

Bitcoin has a limited supply, and despite the price volatility, if one invests in Bitcoin and holds it for a long time, they will sure sell during the bull market and make a huge profit depending on the amount they invested. So bitcoin investment is what anyone could ever think of choosing rather than investing in the bank. But for the record, a good economist or a financial maximalist don't only relay on one investment source, they diversify their investment and also keep some fiat money in the bank, perhaps not as investment.

IMO, the choice between Bitcoin and banks depends on your risk appetite and understanding of the respective markets.  If you prefer the potential for high returns and are willing to accept the accompanying risks, Bitcoin might be an option for you and if stability, security, and more modest returns are your priorities, then keeping your money in a bank may be a more suitable choice.

But since Bitcoin is very volatile and many people already understand this, they think storing value is a good idea that saving your money on the bank which the banks making a profit on your money.

Banks provide low interest on our savings, but when we go for a loan we'll be charged heavy interest. This is how the banking system is functioning all around. There are more investment plans, and few are really nice and a must for common people's life. In that stance I always have diversified portfolio. As private firms doesn't provide with retirement, I prefer investing on a retirement scheme.

It is true that just saving in terms of bitcoin is more than enough to have retirement fund and enjoy life. However my thoughts were of receiving a stable amount and that had made me go with retirement scheme and savings were in the form of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Remember not all who invest bitcoin or any cryptocurrency succeed to gain profit, most don't, especially those who doesn't know what patience is.
Investment in banks are not profitable, sometimes you will get no interest, or even negative interest. It might sound a better place for saving your fund but it is not. Many banks can file bankruptcy and you cant do anything once they do and you will lost your money.

Banks aren't really designed for investing. Because they are a bank and they are for the deposits and if ever they offer some investment products, it is far from the projected profit that Bitcoin can give. I prefer to have a bit of savings to my bank but a bigger part of my wealth in Bitcoin and I mean this. Like, I do not have much money on my banks account but I am happy with what I have as per holding Bitcoins. And that is why someday I am hoping that it will be more than what I am expecting to earn for which I will never earn from investing through bank.

I absolutely hate the banking system of my country because they run their banking system through complete irregularities. Moreover, the banking interest system is very low and if you keep money there, it gives interest at a very low rate. And if you invest in Bitcoin, the banking system is much safer and the amount of profit is also higher.

I guess you are asking the community wherein we invest our money on Bitcoin, so yeah, the answer is going to be obvious. Although there are big reasons why,  if you look at Bitcoin's return every bull and bear cycle, it's greater as compare to the bank bearing interest program.

So nothing beats BTC as far as investing, of course there's nothing wrong with investing into a bank if that is your strategy, but the interest will not even enough to cover the inflation rate, thus your money returns are that small and on the contrary, you are not getting any gain from the money that you have deposited.

In my opinion, investing in a bank can be called good for the short term, but for the long term, I think it will be affected by inflation.
but if investing in bitcoin it will be suitable if used for long-term investments because it has the potential to not be affected by inflation because the price of btc will potentially rise in the future, but if used for short-term investments there can be potential losses because btc prices fluctuate.

so I think in this case it depends on the situation and circumstances.
so i think investing in bank is important, and investing in btc is also important.

Bitcoin and traditional bank investment serve different purposes and have varying levels of risk and potential income. Bank investments, such as savings account and certificate of deposits are generally considered a low risk options that offer a guaranteed return on investment. This products are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) it means that if the bank closed the investment is protected up to a certain amount only. However the return of investments are typically low. Bitcoin is decentralized digital currency that operates outside of traditional banking system. Its value can be volatile which means that i has a higher level of risks, but it has much higher returns compare to traditional banks. I would choose both because i wanted to diversify my portfolio.

- Banks are not investment platforms. They are places where you keep money and sometimes it gets stolen right under your nose.
- Bitcoin is an investment that increases over time.
- Old people choose to put their monies in the banks that for them is the most secure place they have know since they were kids. Young people on the other hand prefer bitcoin because they get to control their money, the ease of access or convnience and fast transactions for payment purposes.

There is nothing wrong in keeping your money in both places, but you have to do it smartly. Maybe in ratios or whichever method pleases you. Say 70% bitcoin and 30% banks. My reasons are that bitcoin is where I feel safe after having a terrible banking experience with cross border payment and other stuff.

investing in a bank is something we definitely do, because after all we will need a bank, but as far as I know investing in a bank the profits are small unlike investing in bitcoin which of course always generates big profits,
and I chose to invest in banks and bitcoin with the aim of getting bigger profits. but the difference is investing in btc only using idle money because investing in btc has a higher risk such as a fall in the price of btc.

Banks are not investment platforms, they are places where you store your fiat currency that continues losing its value due to inflation and constant money printing since fiat has no cap.
Bitcoin is also not an investment although it can act as one since its price has gone up in the long term so far and it also has tremendous amount of potential for more growth. Bitcoin is a currency that is in its infancy so it is still being adopted slowly by the world hence creating the volatile market and creating investment opportunities.
