But, if we don't worry about the odds available and you are sure Croatia will win, then of course the odds you will get are better odds, right? If Croatia got ahead first maybe we might not have watched this many goals in regular time. Because they are generally really good at maintaining an advantage over their opponents. Yes Gvardiol isn't in the lineup today unfortunately but they have still done a good job with balancing the weakness in defense with being more effective in scoring goals.

We watched a completely different second half for Croatia. Finding the equalizer early improved their self-confidence and in a really nice time they got even ahead by 2-1. But what a great moment for Netherlands that they extended the match to extra time by a goal in the last moments.

This is an interesting result but also one that it is again a bit of a statement set by the Croatian teams. Never underestimate them and even if this was a game away for them and many fans thought that the chances to win this one are not that big, they did it again. They even had a bit more ball possession than the Netherlands and were not only busy defending the attacks from the Netherlands, but had their own chances. Right now they are even checking the fifth goal. That overtime was quite wild I think but Croatia squeezed everything out of the chances they had.

At the age of 37, he shows not a single sign of exhaustion, even in overtime. The Croatians deserved to win and I can very well imagine that they will win the title and they deserve it!

Thats sports betting for you, we always nearly get it right till the last minutes but nevertheless Croatia played very well seeing to the fact that the bookies gave them the bigger odds to win this game. I had said and thought that the game was going to be balanced and could go to extra time, and it was.

My view of the game was that in regular time, the match was very even, yes, with a bit of an advantage for Croatia. But in extra time it seems that the Netherlands came in with defeat on their mind, even though they had tied the game at the end of regular time, usually the team who score the last goal, is the one who is more motivated.

And again, extra time for Croatia, but this time it looks like they are totally used to, and score 2 more goals (almost 3), and not only that, they dominated the game in extra-time
The experience of Croatia is incredible.
