If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

It is normal for this feelings yo come in especially when your loss is big or when you gamble with money that you are given to give to someone or money that is meant for an emergency. To keep a healthy gambling life and atmosphere,it is better than one should only gamble with money not meant for important purposes but instead only gamble with funds that you can avoid to lose. So many times in our gambling activities,we feel remorse and regrets our action because we don't know when to stop gambling,either winning or losing. The next day,you will want to chase your loss and gamble again to win it back but you will run at big loss. Regrets upon regrets and remorse upon remorse,this is what gambling is all about.

if someone gambles just to find entertainment, of course they will only bet according to their feelings and thoughts. different from compulsive gamblers they will not be able to stop when they have not got the win they want but they keep losing which causes regret after losing a few dollars.

There are times that we want to win even if we can't, that's how we try to chase the winnings even if we can see that it's gonna be difficult as per the situation permits. That's why for some, they're leaning towards the thought that they're just gambling for fun.

so it is very important to have a mind that thinks gambling is only limited to seeking pleasure so that you can control yourself not to lose too much at gambling.

Honestly saying I don't gamble everyday. Gambling and sports betting are like weekend hobbies to me. So me feeling remorse it lot less possible. But yeah sometimes when I gamble too much money because I get greedy I feel remorse. I tell myself "why didn't I stop myself at that point?" etc. I think there are many gamblers around the world feeling so similar. Its so sad that gambling is very addictive hobby. Keep in mind there are two types of players when playing gambling. First, those who play with the aim as entertainment just to let go of tired after work, they play naturally and even when getting defeat is not a problem. And secondly, those who play with the aim of winning, they do anything to achieve victory including spending large capital so it is not surprising if they are disappointed or regret when at the end of the game has not yet won.
And should when they have experienced disappointment and regret makes them stop to play gambling, but what happens is the opposite they are increasingly rising to continue to play.

if there is something to regret at the end of the game, of course the gambler has made a mistake. and that should be watched out for. this is not because gambling is addictive. I myself have regretted not because I played gambling, but because I spent more money on betting than what I had spent before.
now I am more aware of it by trying to consistently limit myself not to bet more than the allocation that I have previously determined. it's true what people say, if you can't control yourself, then it's better not to gamble. because it can make us lose everything.

Losing certainly feels bad. I know the feeling of losing a lot of money due to my stupidity but that has not stopped me from losing even more money in the all-too-near futures after that. Just put it out of your head and not dwell on it too much. Otherwise you start thinking you can win your loss back but end up losing more money...

People usually feel remorse after losing on games they really didn't wanna get involved in,.. especially when they thought it would pay off and it ended up the wrong way... Sometimes, a one-time bet could possibly earn you a couple of dollars to start with, which is even enough for the day but peeps with greed would wanna try again, hoping to continue in the same frenzy until whenever...lol, that's where the problem begins cus you stand a chance to lose everything you won,.. including some more extra bucks.... There's a grand rule in gambling; don't ever play more than what you got in budget - that should be applicable when you're winning too much, or losing too much too...

If we feel we can't have that thought, we must learn because it's worth doing. Especially if our goal is just to have fun and we don't want to exceed what we can't afford to lose in gambling. That's a good way to keep the discipline. We won't feel any of those regrets if we know we just gambled the right amount that won't affect our daily living expenses, bills, and whatever that needs to be paid. A strategy and a budget. I think it's a concern if that happens on an individual considering you should know it by hand that you'll lose or win in the first place while gambling. Having a remorse is perfectly normal but if it happens all the time even if you just lose a little that might need to seek a professional. It's normal if you lose big time and it will just fade over time.

If there are two types of gamblers as you mentioned in this post. we can compare it, that the second type of gambler is more than the first type. yep, as we know and realize, that gambling carries risks. we are well aware, the money we bet has the potential to be lost. that means, we lose during the gambling session.
For the first type of gambler, they usually only do it in their spare time. one example, as you said. they play naturally, even when they lose it's not a problem. it's just that sometimes conditions and situations can influence the psychology of the first type of gambler to make mistakes. for example, he gambled when his emotional level was unstable and in the end he was carried away to spend his time in gambling. if lucky they will get the win, and if vice versa, they will regret that they have spent a lot of money at the gambling table.

I wonder what age you're then when this experience occur to you, i believe maybe by then, you're just a student and have no other sources of income than from what you receives from home, what exactly got you been so desperate to have decided on using your school fees for gambling, is through your friends influence or you've got that kind of bold and thicker heart to take such huge risk for gambling.
