This is correct because how can you contribute if you don’t know exactly the topic being discussed. There’s an exception to this if you are curious on the topic and want to know more info by asking question on the thread. It’s not wrong to ask questions on the topic that you didn’t know. Just make sure that you read all the replies in case your question is raised already by other user.

Good writing skills and use of words can help you pass your idea easier with more clarity than when your sentence is poorly punctuated with poor choice of words that are wrongly used. English is not the native Language of some people in this forum, so they may not be very good at it, but expressing yourself and making some sense when you write here is needed. Because this forum is not about English and not for only English speakers, if you express yourself properly even with a poorly punctuated write-up and somebody understands you, they will still contribute to your discussion because they understand what you're trying to say. Yeah, as the others have told you, I think you've understood the point of the forum, that's the most important thing.

In order to reach your goals, I can advise you not to rush, take your time, read again and again, contribute when you have questions or when you're sure of the answer you're going to give. It's better to lurk for months without contributing much than to shitpost messages of no interest.

Here in this forum there are many members from all over the world so we are not surprised if there are some things we have to understand because we are not native English speakers.

Actually, this should be done mostly in every platform where you are in. I see that many people starts to shortcut sentences and even words, thanks to what people see in social media. Honestly, the forum is much greater in terms of that and people in here write better related to the topics that have been made. Aside from the punctuation, grammars and spelling, information must be direct to the point, with explanation if needed.  Replying with the use of different unnecessary words just to make the post looks long will only confuse the reader.  One f the member here that I found replies short but informative is mk4.  His reply is spot on and is easier to comprehend.

Yes sometimes a question or a topic comes up Which is quite difficult to understand because the person who created it is not able to put his words in the right order. In this forum we also get useful information and also give useful information to others. Discussions should be avoided where there is no information about the subject. explaining to others in simple and easy words should be the first priority so that others can understand more easily. Some people are not able to organize their words, which makes it difficult to understand the next person. ever since I joined this platform I have learned a lot from this platform, but on any topic that I do not remember information about, where I think that I cannot give useful advice to anyone on that topic, then I avoid from discussing that topic.
