I really understand that Porto's defense is very strong. At least Mikel Arteta can find a gap to score a goal in the second leg to advance to the next round. Even though Porto is in third place in the Portuguese League, that cannot be a benchmark for measuring the strength of a club.  However, here you can see or find out who will be lucky in the second leg, hopefully Mikel Arteta can find Porto's weak points so they can win or turn things around.

Bayern Munich has Champion League mentality winning but I doubt with Arsenal have been absent for several years and get bad capital on the first leg match. Bayern Munich has to play one match in domestic league before facing Lazio in champion league, seems they will make huge rotation against SC Freiburg and most focus to win above two goals against Lazio.

Manchester City have won with a big score of 3-1 in the first leg, moreover in the second leg Manchester City will play at home so of course there is no chance for Copenhagen to be able to turn things around. There is no good scenario to be able to make Copenhagen win, because basically Copenhagen is at a different level with Manchester City. Therefore, even though maybe in the second leg Manchester City will only play the second tier player but yes, I am sure Manchester City will still qualify for the quarter-finals. Porto are currently in the third position of the  Portuguese league table behind league leaders and current champions Benfica and second placed Sporting Lisbon but that doesn't suggest that they can't be able to eliminate Arsenal in the second leg even when bookmakers are still backing the English club to defeat Porto and go through.

For Arsenal to reach the next round of the UEFA Champions League, their attacking line must be on their best when the host the Portuguese club for the second leg of the tie. Breaking a Porto defense that's led by the legendary Pepe who we all know is a rockie and very solid at the back will be very difficult of you ask me. However, Arsenal will play the second leg of that game at home in front of their home fans and that I think will give them all the needed support to be at their best and better the result of Porto in the first leg and reach the quarter finals of the competition.

This is the main point. Porto team may not be very strong this season. The overall performance of the team is a little weak. But the defense of this team is very strong. Porto have conceded just 17 goals in 23 matches in Liga Portugal. Porto are not at the top of the table and the performance of their strikers is not as good as expected. However, due to the strong defense, this team's performance is still consistent.

It would indeed be extraordinary if City could repeat last season's achievements. the first leg against Copenhagen was in their favor. and the second leg they will still be favorites to win.

Plus, it is a system that works perfectly with most common tactics of today with just one change, you take out one defender and put one striker in and suddenly you have your old regular system back as well, this makes things a lot more easier for teams.

As for the chances in the Champions League, they are great against Lazio, Bayern is a big favorite before the return game, but in general the bookmakers have lowered Bayern's rating and now they are ranked worse as title contenders than Arsenal (now Bayern is in 4th place).

After the Manchester Derby, Mancity probably will rest some of their key players against København due the crucial match against Liverpool 3 days after this match.
Mancity maybe only win with 1 goal difference, I dont think we will see a spectacular result in this 1st leg.
There is a 2nd leg if Mancity fail to win against København and with the Mancity 1st team, Im sure they able to win at København home.
But if they lose against Liverpool =  it will be very hard for them to win the Premier League this season.

Manchester City losing to Liverpool will not make them give up on the chase for the league title yet, they still have some number of matches left that can still determine who will become the winner of the premier league this season, the league will still be widely open for any of them including Arsenal. Liverpool are currently facing injury challenges just like Manchester City had to face in the past but being managed by a good coach can still make them prevail against Manchester City.

The race for the title contender is always vigorous and every team always happen to be at their best even when their key players are not around. I see a competitive match here and nothing less and I expect both of the teams to use their best players in this match for those of them that are not out injured.
