The match between Borussia Dortmund and PSG is quite a tense match. The two teams took turns carrying out attacks and both had some good chances that could have been goals, it's just that they failed to make the best use of that opportunity. I can't say Dortmund were in trouble either. But in especially the second half PSG came with really dangerous attacks. I counted two shots hitting the post and many more like you said. I really enjoyed Dortmund's win here honestly. Because I don't believe PSG are the one that deserves the finale the most. They are just playing inconsistently.

Nothing has ended yet of course. 1-0 could be seen as a decent advantage but the rematch is in France. I think Dortmund should somehow score one goal there at least. If they focus only on maintaining this score it might not end up well for them.     I can't say Dortmund are great at defending that's why.

Previously Munich managed to hold a 2-2 draw Madrid, and now we see how other German teams are able to beat other championship favorites at the moment, I'm pretty sure if the German team this season is not the favorite after their poor performance in the league, but this week we can see how the German team is able to show a strong mentality in the Champions League even though they are not playing well in the Bundesliga,  Before the Dortmund vs PSG match started, many of us were favourites for PSG to win because the quality of their squad was better than Dortmund, but in fact they actually got a defeat even though they managed to dominate the match.

Borussia Dortmund did play their first leg game in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League at home against Paris Saint Germaine yesterday so it's understandable that they were able to get all three points from the game but in my own opinion, I think Paris Saint Germaine have all it takes to deliver a better performance than what we saw in that game but were obviously limited by the club manager's tactical approach to the game and here is my reason for saying such... Kylian Mbappe without doubt plays in the no.9 role perfectly but in games like the last night game, he delivers better from the left flank of attack which was were Bradley Barcola was operating from. Kolo Muani was on the bench when he could've been played in the center forward striker position while Mbappe plays from the wing so he can get the chance to take on the Borussia Dortmund defenders. The second leg will be played next week at the Parc des Princes and I hope he's learnt his lessons from the result of the first leg

This is what is said anything can happen on the field, things that were not expected or previously predicted could change 180% as long as the two teams are still fighting on the field. Dortmund really took advantage of the opportunity to play at home, the mentality of the players was also very strong in pursuing victory.
PSG which was previously predicted to be able to score goals at Dortmund headquarters, actually emerged as the team with the least chance of qualifying for the final. Majority of PSG's lack of push and drive in yesterday's game against Dortmund was because of underestimation. I watched  the game and honestly, the visitors were so unimpressive. For the better part of the first half they had no shot on target and their key player, Mbappe kept playing like someone who recently recovered from a stomach bug, careful not upset it. I expected that they will challenge Dortmund at their ground and even the hosts expected same and decided not to play like they usually do, instead brought the game to PSG and instead of pressing counter for counter, PSG were busy defending their lines.
 If not for misused opportunities, I think the game would have ended with more goals on favor of Dortmund as against the one goal.
I'm tempted to think PSG may come back in the second leg since it's in their ground but I tell you for free if they continue playing like the world revolves around them, they will just have to say goodbye to this tournament and let the serious teams have a go at it.

one beauty about playing as an home team is that with the support of your large fans and because you don't want to let them down, it gives this extra energy to put in the fight and every cheer is a damn encouragement that pushes you to go the extra miles. Dortmund made great use of this and outplayed PSG throughout the first half. Hakini wasn't able to subdue the young Dortmund left back and dembele wasn't doing well with his passes and it made it all deficult for mbape to have a comfortable opportunity at the attack. The 2nd semi final went down yesterday between Dortmund and PSG and the match was one thrilling one to watch as Dortmund real surprised us yesterday with the way they performed quite greatly. As long as Dortmund players are able to maintain Mbappe and Dembele movements, PSG will experience difficulties. Dortmund has realized PSG weak point which managed to put them ahead. Now PSG task in Leg 2 is quite difficult even though the difference is 1 goal, the strategy implemented in Leg 1 is still not effective. Mbappe movements were limited, his position was constantly being controlled, so relying on Barcola left side was also not enough to provide more opportunities. Now for Dortmund because they have to visit PSG headquarters, they have to be more confident like when Barcelona visited there. It is possible that Leg 2 will be an opportunity for Dortmund to maintain its lead while increasing goal opportunities.

This season, all the teams that entered the UCL semifinals were initially underestimated, such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Dortmund, who were predicted to lose in the top 8, but instead progressed to the semifinals. Did you just said PSG didn’t play well ? To be honest with you PSG played well yesterday but they didn’t have a luck of goals, PSG made many shots on target and we can see how the shot went and hit the goalpost, and if we look at both teams' performances yesterday Dortmund played very than PSG, and that performance shows me that Dortmund can do well better than PSG in this champion league, I know that Dortmund played in their stadium and the second leg of the match will be played in PSG stadium, but for me, even in psg stadium, Dortmund can defeat PSG with the kind of performance I see with Dortmund yesterday.

No one would believe Dortmund would pull off such string and go ahead with a goal in the first leg but i have always thought that it can happen because PSG are not so superior and have a lose defense but their attack have always covered up for the defense and try to balance things out.

I am not surprised with Dortmund victory because i know how their performance is in Champions league despite their defeat against RB Leipzig with a score of 4-1, i still never have doubt in their winning, i will only said congratulation for them for securing this victory but they are more effort needed to make it through, PSG will just be waiting for a revenge because with what i noticed PSG second half performance was very impressive and i believe in them that the second half aggressive will be transfer to the second leg which the PSG will be the host.

Dortmund already have qualified if they can maintain or improve in their performance to stay in that fifth position due to the fifa new rules, i expect tougher pressure from Dortmund against PSG because they already secured first leg victory, Mbappe really need this game because it may be the last champions league he will play for PSG and will like to live with complete legacy that he will be remembered for.

Do you want to see a German Clásico in the Champions League? I think that Real Madrid has a very good chance to win against Bayern Munich but I don't think that PSG is going to defeat Dortmund in Paris. Btw I am shocked that the game ended only with 1 goal, both sides had many great chances and Dortmund could easily make it 2:0 but they missed a great chance. PSG was just very unlucky, they kicked the ball to the crossbar two times in a row. The way Sule saved Mbappe's goal was just another level, a very fantastic save.
I think that we will see a finale of Real Madrid vs Dortmund but as I see, many people want PSG to win because of Mbappe. He is a phenomenal player but never managed to win the Champions League because of his club.

PSG just like I thought before the match, they approach the game with weak energy and played below standard but Luis Enrique made PSG to lost this game with his useless players selection. Why playing Mbappe at 9th position when it's obvious that he can not deliver the task in that position. Allow him to play as a winger where he is good at. I have noticed PSG performance against German sides teams and they are actually not impressive. Things are not too bad yet with just one goal difference. They really have the higher chance to qualify for final but they are about to mess things up.

I think you actually might get a Bayern vs Dortmund final. PSG are acting like clowns at the moment and Dortmund already have a lead so they will most likely go through. Meanwhile Madrid left it late to equalize and there is no reason why Bayern can't advance to the finals as long as they don't keep the scoreline tied. But the second leg's going to be at the Bernabeu and there's been some black magic going on there.

I have been watching this match and i think PSG a bit unlucky because they have 2 times shots attempts which hit the crossbar and some of their players also has failed the opportunities to scores besides that during the match Dortmund players were very discipline to guarded their defense so although PSG was dominate the match but they didn't gets much opportunities to scores and i have seen Dortmund has successfully to lock the movement Mbappe and this situations is make PSG having trouble to broke the defense of Dortmund besides that i think during the match the referee was made some of controversial decision

Indeed in the front of their fans Dortmund performance was very fantastic because surprisingly they can beat PSG with narrow score and Niclas Füllkrug should being an man of the match because he was clever and escape from offside trap and scored the only goal in this match but after this winning i think Dortmund position still not fully safe because second leg will be played at PSG home ground and there is a chance for PSG to reversing the situations so if want to advances to the final match i think Dortmund should be more hard struggling because i am sure PSG won't let it happend and PSG will go all in later

Exactly. At first, PSG had a high chance of winning the game even though they were playing away, but if we looked at the performance, they did very well, even better than Dortmund, and seriously, I didn’t expect Dortmund to be the winner of this match even though they were playing at home. However, I can say PSG were unlucky to win because their performance was impressively good. No doubt, they also had some opportunities, but they failed to utilise them to win. 

However, let’s wait for the second leg before we conclude, but to me, Dortmund had the opportunity of being at home in this match. I won’t say they played more than PSG; it was just that the game was too lucky for PSG, so we should expect PSG to beat Dortmund in the second leg in their home. Though I know Dortmund are going to be well prepared for the second leg since they luckily won the first leg, they will want to try as much as they can to get the second leg too, which will be a very difficult thing to accomplish.
