Among many people who doubt Manchester City defending the title this season is me. Even I did not put Manchester City into the list of teams that will enter the semifinal this season.
There are many other teams that will be able to go far compared to Manchester City.

Teams like Bayern Munich, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter are more potentially forced the Champions League trophy to be achieved by them from Manchester City.
Last season was far different from this season. If it is not in a pot with Real Madrid, maybe Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will be finalists this season and Bayern Munich teams who have a great chance to take it from Manchester City.

Still, I don't think Bayern Munich will advance to the Champions League final. There are still teams that I believe can defeat Bayern Munich, including Inter, Real Madrid, PSG. However, and even Barcelona their current performance won't get them to the final; they lost to Shakhtar in their group stage and PSG to Ac Milan in theirs, but their group stage is tough. If you look at Bayern's group stage, there are no teams that can compare to Bayern; they are stronger than all of their opponents. Including Barcelona and Manchester City, i didn't count them to make the final list because the previous season is very different from this season, that Manchester city will beat any club.

So far Bayern are only in second place, Bayer are performing very well this season and haven't lost a single match. They are separated by only one draw in the statistics, but I think if they come up against each other again, Bayern have every chance not only to win the match, but also to win the league, what can we say if they win the Bundesliga so many years in a row...

What if this season Leverkusen breaks the record? Although Leverkusen has not lost any of their games since the start of the season, they have been battling it out with Bayern Munich for the top spot. If Bayern Munich was the favorite to win the trophy, they would still have competition from Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga because of their long winning record.

Benfica are a big disappointment to their fans in the Champions League. They aren't like this in the Liga Portugal actually. They are the leader there with a really low amount of point losses. However they just can't show a similar performance when it comes to the Champions League. 4 losses in 4 matches and 1 goal scored while conceding 7 goals... 

Even Salzburg have collected more points than them I mean so this looks really awkward to me. I don't think Benfica's squad has a bad quality either truthfully.

I was expecting Real Sociedad to make big competition but Benfica to do the same also. But here we are.

Since the first round I really regret the results obtained by Benfica and the matches that have been played so far have all resulted in defeats. Another fact is that Benfica is the only team that has not won a single point in the group stage and of course this is the worst result since they participated in the Champions League.

Because technically they are a huge favourite to win this game despite the loss in France against them before. You're right about that especially since I haven't gotten the same mentality from them since their failure in that final. PSG were too chaotic and looked too weak when faced with high pressure, so that's what caused them to fail in the Champions League. The luck factor also plays a role in their success, but that can still be hoped for as long as PSG and its management always maintain the depth of their squad.

Regarding this season, PSG and the other 3 teams in Group F have the same chance of qualifying for the round of 16. Lens will be playing at emirates stadium soon. I have expected a hard game between arsenal and lens. Arsenal was losing against lens but lens lost against copnehagen. Is this a coincidence? I don't think so. Lens may face difficulty to beat arsenal away.

Arsenal was surprisingly lose from Lens few weeks ago and after international break they will try to get revenge from Lens in the 5th match and if Arsenal win from Lens they will be automatically qualified and most likely finish at first position but Lens also had same ambition because if they can able to beat Arsenal then Lens has just open their opportunity to qualified and after beated PSV last week Lens can able to bounce back and won from Marseille with narrow scores at Ligue 1 even so with Arsenal that recently they got 2 consecutive wins in all competitions so this is interesting who will be the winner of this match and i assume as a host Arsenal will being an the favourite

Mikel Arteta will guarantee his team's participation in the UEFA Champions League this season, and I believe the Gunners have what it takes to pull off a coup against their most adjacent rivals. Arsenal vs. Lens is a must-win game for the Gunners because they need to outperform their opponents with significant points rather than random struggles and narrow escapes. Lens beating Arsenal in the first leg, I doubt whether these teams have a chance to face Arsenal at Emirate stadium; we've seen competitive teams fail in UEFA second legs.

Benfica are a big disappointment to their fans in the Champions League. They aren't like this in the Liga Portugal actually. They are the leader there with a really low amount of point losses. However they just can't show a similar performance when it comes to the Champions League. 4 losses in 4 matches and 1 goal scored while conceding 7 goals... 

Even Salzburg have collected more points than them I mean so this looks really awkward to me. I don't think Benfica's squad has a bad quality either truthfully.

I was expecting Real Sociedad to make big competition but Benfica to do the same also. But here we are.

Since the first round I really regret the results obtained by Benfica and the matches that have been played so far have all resulted in defeats. Another fact is that Benfica is the only team that has not won a single point in the group stage and of course this is the worst result since they participated in the Champions League.

If you look at Benfica's defeat, it all started from the match against Salzburg and at that time Benfica was not favored to win after losing one of their players due to a red card. After that, they failed to recover and continued to suffer a series of defeats. Benfica's squad depth is one of the best in Europe and considering they advanced to the quarterfinals last season, this result feels like a big drop from what we expected.

Benfica cannot have any chances in the UCL or in the European league because there are only 2 matches remaining in this match, while Benfica situation is really beyond hope so Benfica must accept all these facts patiently, even though the fans are definitely very disappointed, however, the performance situation of the players is not ready to compete competitively with other teams, while RB Salzburg is also one of the teams capable of competing in the UCL and the upcoming match against Inter will be a very sad match for Benfica because it is certain that they will fail to win again.

Maybe Benfica should surrender to the current situation and they should try again next season. Inter is a strong opponent and in fact they have already qualified for the last 16 and it looks like they will not play with a full squad against Benfica because they have to rest several of their main players so that matches in the domestic league can still get consistent results. Moreover, maintaining the top of the standings in the domestic league is another priority that Inter must carry out.
