I usually Invest a very small amount of bitcoin to another coin because I know this time is very crucial to invest in any new coin or even in an old coin.
Any suggestion from your side which is good for long term

If you are a high risk taker, you could make use of the new coins being listed and heads up they are a hundreds of them popping out on the market and you need to find that one coin...otherwise sticking to bitcoin is low risk.

High risk taking like that is definitely not a suggested method. I wouldn't suggest anyone to do that because 99.99% of the time you are going to lose all your money and there is no reason to do that. I bet that it is going to be much harder to invest into something like that, and would be much smarter to just keep on making a profit based on what you already know and the coins you already know, that's a lot better.

I know that people are not always content with what they have, but they need to be and that's going to be the case for everyone. I believe that if we could end up with no problems at all and end up with a good return from the big coins and all, that would be enough, if you are rich then that should be what you do.

put 30% btc, 20% eth, 50% on 5 alt, 10% each, to many coin will harder to make choice & tracking the movement. safer but less ROI
there is less risk putting your money on bear market when many alt -95%. when you trade on bear market use usdt pair, when bullrun happen use alt/btc pair

Instead of splitting my 1 bitcoin into this different coins I'll keep holding my bitcoin because of halving is almost close and we know before and after halving bitcoin always increase in price and this year won't be any different. We'll see bitcoin increase and some altcoins won't increase until maybe later in the year when we have altcoins bull season which mightn't happen.
The last bull market that we had in 2021 didn't have any period we could say was an altcoins bull season. Meanwhile people including myself was expecting it to happen by the last half of 2921 but it didn't happen. We mightn't get an altcoins seasons but Bitcoin will rise so instead I'll keep holding my bitcoin and trade it as bitcoin pumps and falls during this period.
Since the altcoins are down -95% or more is there any possiblity that they all can go back to their former prices when we were in the bull market. Not all will go back so to avoid investing in the wrong altcoins that won't rise I'll not sell my bitcoin for altcoins but if I have new cash I can buy some few altcoins that I love like memecoins, ARB and some few metaverse projects.

Btc and eth are enough, which is suggested by most the people. Thus you can generate maximum three time profit from your investment. But if you invest in different coin then you may generator max five to ten time profit from your income but this process is risky. If i were you, I'll invest 50% with btc and eth and I'll buy top potential coins with 30% and I'll risk my 20% with buying memecoin like doge, some ai coins, some web3 coons and will buy some token during tokensale. If i lost 20%, no problem, i believe 30% investment of top potential altcoins can recovery my that loss and 50% btc and eth will give me a lot. You Should better keep your bitcoin in your wallet and that's the best strategy. As you already notice bitcoin ATH price while last 2 bull session.same will happen while next bull session come. So hold tightly, thats secure  but if you want more roi like 5x-10x then altcoins are the only option. But don't go for unpopular old coins. Go for popular top coins like Eth, Bnb, Ada or some others you want to have. Top coins are popular cause people invest more with those as they are safe, although sometimes some top coin also get scam. So manage capital smartly

Having unrefined gold on hand but opting for silver because it is more reflective from a distance is the equivalent of this. You fail to notice that the gold will appear more exquisite and valuable when purified than the silver that is catching your attention.

This is how it is since I can't think of any good reason for someone to exchange their bitcoin for other altcoins since they are uncertain of their true nature (or value) in the bear market.

This is what I would do with 1 bitcoin, if I had it. I'll continue to hodl the 1 bitcoin in my portfolio until the bull run begins, and if I need altcoins, I'll gradually add them by diversifying my investment on top altcoins.

Nowadays, it's hard to trust new projects as most of them may end up as scams. This has been the trend in the market, with the increasing number of altcoins, which also brings bigger risks. Therefore, I suggest that you invest in established altcoins, those that already have supporters and are listed on major exchanges.

That's quite a lot of diversification IMHO.

But whatever is making you comfortable by spreading that investment of yours, go ahead. While IMHO, this is too much and you're likely going to lose more if you go ahead with that much spread for other altcoins.

Well, to each their own as that's what I think and it's pretty easier to get more percentage for Bitcoin and a few with ETH and there's no need for any stable coin if you're not trading a lot.

There is really no reason to reinvent the wheel, which has been done a million times so far since it was reinvented so why we say that I do not know . But the main idea is that all of us are suggesting just bitcoin and ethereum because those two are the best and there is no need for it at all.

I believe that we are going to end up doing something that would be profitable in the end. And that means we are going to end up with making some changes one way or another, and that should be the important key for you. If you are going to end up with a good result, that doesn't change the fact that you are going to get it because you did what everyone said, if you do something risky and different than the possibility of losing increases.

If you have 1 BTC, then don't sell it. Also, try to invest in a few altcoins like L1 and L2 projects. You will get good profits. Because we can not hold altcoins long time. My suggestion is to hold it for a maximum of 1 year. But Bitcoin can hold for a long time due to true decentralization.

I think that should be emphasized as much as possible, we need to keep telling people to get bitcoin and ethereum all the time and keep constantly do it, that's just how it is. If we tell people like "yes you heard btc and eth a lot so here is another option" then they may pick that option which would be inferior and they should not do it, and we should not advice it. If we think (and I do) that btc and eth is the best then we should keep suggesting that no matter how many times we have to say it.

a good altcoin for long term investment in my opinion is,
1. Ethereum
2. Binance

Ethereum and Binance, I do like both of them and I hold them for the long term. Ripple is what seems people starting to keep on the talks because of the potential that it can go up when the bull run comes.

I don't want to guarantee because the market has always been moving and volatile and you'll never know if you're going to sell early when you see the price starts to dip. As long as you're able to hold in the long run and be firm with your plan, keep on hold with the altcoins you believe to be good holdings.

a good altcoin for long term investment in my opinion is,

ethereum is good, BNB heavily depends on the performance of binance itself, had rumour like binance getting sued is circulating like before its always got its value decreased almost immediately.
meanwhile ripple is not really good investment since many tried so hard to avoid it.
I think the only worthwhile altcoin you mentioned maybe ethereum but thats just my opinion right?, i still think that the other coin like eos and most layer 2 are worth investing nowadays than BNB and ripple.

IMHO, there's still connection of BNB and Binance as exchange but it has its own market where it's mostly reliant to it.

The liquidity that's being provided by the coin itself is what its value having the greater share. But yes, it just can't be removed that exchange news are merely affecting it.

If you have plans to invest in altcoins by converting the bitcoins you have, that's fine, but you have to be able to find an altcoin that has a good use case and reputation, don't let the investment you make actually cause you big losses, options like bnb, ethereum and Avax can you make your main choice, try to avoid meme tokens and NFT tokens because meme tokens and NFTs are only based on hype.
