As a human being, you should be open to Criticism, because those are the rituals you go through as you grow up, don't opposed admonishment too hard, look at the positive side of it, and it will help you.

Encouragement is one of the ingredient you need to galvanize your thoughts into contributing meaningfully in the forum.

Critique is never what should shut up anybody up on the internet, but some people are so naive, even on the internet, that on telling them a little "shut up," they will remain quite, maybe until you ask them Waxup? But here on the forum, no one cares about how you feel if you are criticized or insulted. No one will even care to ask about you if you decide to leave. On this forum, if you decide to remain quiet, it would take no long time for people to forget about you, so you must be productive in the ideas you share, and when you get insulted, just shrug it off and move on.

Apart from the forum , even outside the forum criticism still exist. For one to be a public speaker one should be prepared to get criticised it is a normal thing that exists in life. People needs to understands that criticism has it own advantages.  Criticism makes people to get improve and to work on themselves to become better. If you hate criticism that means you are not ready to grow. The pain from criticism makes one to strive to bring out the best. 

I think if their is no criticism in the forum people won't take corrections from wrong doings, people would want to do things the way they like and not in the right way. The advantage of criticism in this forum is to make members conscious to do things the right way, criticism may sound insulting and disrespectful but it will be better people just get used to it because it is impossible it doesn't exist, it also plays a role no matter how bad it may seems.

Same way Rome isn't built overnight.  Everything needs time especially learning.  For newbies, learn to read first.  Read a lot and fully understand information.  Familiarize yourself on how the forum behave, put the unofficial rule at heart, it will guide you to not get your account wasted. 

Constructive criticism is good, I agree with @OP that don't get hurt when someone criticize us instead make it a motivation to better ourselves.  As harsh as it may seem, there is an attached lesson on that kind of criticism.

There are kind people that do constructive criticism without embarrassing the person, there are ways to criticize things without flaming other people.

Being open to criticism and reacting to them most civilly goes a long way to show how much of a think skin the individual will develop over time and this is one thing that has helped most of us in our various careers, and since this is what have become the norms in most online society,  this forum won't be an exception if thathappethat happens all to do is to develop that characteristic of continued learning and making sure but to allow those negative ones get you to discourage.


The major problem with most negative criticism is that they never take the time to properly study and understand the situation before jumping to conclusions.

You are right. I had quite a lot of it but it made me got better. No matter how badly someone is criticized in a comment, instead of getting upset about it, the right thing to do is just shrug it off and endeavor not to get yourself into a bad situation that makes you get criticized again. Another thing I would like to add is that some users easily shy off after receiving some criticism, but they fail to read well enough to see if there is still someone who has an open opinion towards their topic. There is this saying in my place that goes, "If you look at the bad side, don't forget the good side." I have seen threads where the OP is criticized by only a few memebers, but reading through the thread, some people were still giving cool opinions to help the OP, while others are giving advice too, but if the user only looks at the criticisms he receives without looking at the good opinions, then he or she is likely not to take advice and might still get some more criticism. I really don't like the bad impact the those critisms have on newbies, but come on, I just realize that in the internet, no body hide their opinion or what they feel about something.  People that gets criticized should just get used to it (newbie or high rank).

It's good to see a newbie trying to get better on the forum, most newbies even when you correct them they don't learn and they never grow either.

I have been corrected in a harsh manner from a few members on the forum and one even took it too far, I felt really bad on that day, but I summon my courage and tried to learn from my mistake, I saw the insult as a necessity to bring a change.

Some people will easily get discouraged, because of insults or harsh ways that people on here are trying to use to correct some newbies, they are discouraged because they are weak, do not give up.

Most times, every insults and disappointments are blessings in disguise, they put us in checked,  to remind us that we are close to getting slack at what we do, I am glad you learning. Keep it up

This forum was created for people to learn, share ideas and make useful contributions in regards to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency in general. When I started this journey earlier this year actually it was a friend that introduced me to bitcointalk, but it reached to a point I wanted to be discouraged but I got encouragement from some senior here whose advise came from a particular thread that we as newbies should understand a particular topic before contributing or make our opinion known on such topic.
The first thing I did was to understand the rules and regulations that governs the forum and abide by it, to an extent am being use to what is happening here and more, and I believe that in no distant time my contributions will be so enormous in this forum, this will be the fate of every other newbie that is hardworking and also all this will be achievable by encouragement from our senior colleagues it can be through several process,not necessarily meriting.

Criticism: there are constructive criticism that tends to correct a newbie by setting him or her in the right direction. using myself as an example, I was corrected by one of our senior colleagues here on the need to use punctuation marks where necessary in all my writeup since then I have been very careful in other to avoid the repeatation of such in future.
We newcomers should know that our time and continues stay in this forum depends on us and we have to cultivate the habit of learning and making prestigious use of our time here by making more detailed research of what we don't know before bringing it to this forum and also where we don't understand we ask question so that people that know more than us can put us through.

A detailed advice of how to learn and make positive progress in this forum is well stated here. Continuous learning, researching and questions asking will make us learn ranging from 'how to identify and avoid scam to how to trade for profit and avoidance loss'. Everything crypto can be learn inasmuch we take time, follow rules, read and make meaningful contributions in the forum.

This means that there are many facts, opinions and evidence provided. So it's a bit difficult to get started, but if you don't start then it will never work. No human being is always right, so no human being is perfect without criticism. People who thrive on criticism will feel better, so don't be anti-critical. We must be able to accept criticism for our progress.

I agree in point 2 that no individual is perfect, and perfection is a difficult concept to grasp. Mutual respect is paramount in fostering a healthy and productive environment. Mutual respect creates a space where perspectives are diverse and leads to richer and more meaningful discussions. Anyone, For criticism can be given constructively and with respect, thereby contributing to the growth and development of the community in the forum as a whole and receiving constructive feedback for our progress together. so don't need to be upset and doubt if our position is still new. I guess that's all I can add.
