I see no reasons for mining CDN directly now, as merged mining works very well!

If you want to test it out without going through the hassle of setting up your own p2pool server, you are welcome to join at my experimental server in Amsterdam.
Point your miner to http://95.85.51.210:9327 with your Litecoin address as username and x as password.
Litecoins then gets paid out directly to your wallet, when the p2pool-network finds a block, if you contributed any shares.

There are currently no functionality to see who found the blocks for the merged mining part, but if you send me your LTC and CDN address, I will put it all into an Excel-spreadsheet every few days and distribute it to you based on how many LTC-shares you found.
If you also send me your MagicInternetMoney address, I will make sure you get that as well.

Send me an PM like this:

LTC: Lbc8G4F7mBcrLMANBMMiSYXpi9qJdfKD5x
MIM: LfAVLsXANuL4Gtd5yEVCnyKEy3n115Q459
CDN: CSaNxv3V7FsgrLeczRcKatswu3R5zhrRWK

http://95.85.51.210:9327/static/

As this is an experimental server, there will be no fee. But remember, you will have to find shares for this to work!
I set up my bat-file with failover pools like this:
Code:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

sgminer.exe -d 0 -g 1 -w 512 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 24550 -I 16 --temp-target 80 --auto-fan  --no-submit-stale --failover-only -o http://95.85.51.210:9327 -u LhcpcLufEWwZLSh5G9K6Eex9kperWFSSps -p x -o stratum+tcp://multi1.wemineall.com:5555 -u mine.gpu2 -p x -o stratum+tcp://eu.wafflepool.com:3333 -u 1C1FsoN7knh8iy4gkqDoBAgTgkgAo833iJ -p x

Update with your own LTC wallet address and GPU tweaks

I like this coin, any developments as of late?
whats the global plan for this coin?

A few little pieces here and there...pushing forward underneath this project...we've been neglecting our Bitcointalk.org comms, partly because the account we've been using here didn't have email notifications turned on (DERP!). To catch up, peep our website: http://www.canadaecoin.ca

As for the "global plan"...we don't have a global plan per se, but we do have a very local plan involving our IRL partners and their brick-and-mortar based businesses (one a communications shop, the other an industrial supply business) in pushing CDN forward as a point-of-sale platform for our internal operations. Our communications shop has an incoming Robocoin ATM due prettyclose to anytime (most recent delay as the bill readers are a bit finicky with the new Canadian polymer bills) and the purpose of that machine is just...facilitating usage I guess? We aren't fencesitters or talkers...we use cryptos heavily for our own personal transactions as much as possible and see obviously a HUGE barrier to adoption is getting BTC into a persons hands...quickly. I love it...I'll be able to get up from my desk, go over, slip $20CAD in and buy some BTC w/a 1% transaction fee (Thank you Robocoin! LOL). The nextdoor industrial supply business (more on this) has a CAD ATM to facilitate Robocoin transactions when it arrives.

Sorry this isn't a Robocoin commercial, just meant to convey a bit of our seriousness in this project.

Our IRL partner the industrial supply business has frequent complaints from purchasers in completing remittances for overseas purchases. I'm not talking pizzas here, dudes, I'm talking palettes and crates of steel, hoses, fittings, valves, pipes, etc etc...and orders beginning in the $25,000 USD range for smallys. I'm also talking immense friction, typically days long delays for confirmations and order updates and overseas communication issues, and idiotic fees associated with wire transfer (that's always what suppliers want, they push the payment inconvenience onto the customer...sadly).

We are fricking sick of it...internally we are pushing suppliers in acceptance of BTC (the conversations are getting more and more interesting!), and working on the buildup of apps and services for Canada eCoin to make it a viable point-of-sale platform. Install the wallet and hit the faucet...it's screaming fast and has huge potential as a quick POS solution.

As for CDN the project...we have some bounties on our website and we're beginning to aggresively recruit talent, we're working on votes on different exchanges and with mining pools...you know...the usual in pushing a crypto project forward. Building community =D

I gotta jump off here and head home from the office...but I apologize for neglecting this forum and will be updating and developing the content and announcements here...
this will get better((er)etc).

PEACE,
dR3 (on behalf of los Cinqos Rednexos ahahaha)

THANKS Kenta! Will ammend as appropriate. A few other pieces that have been moving this week pretty nicely...
-web wallet: being worked on by Banks, ETA: next weekish??? Dev is back from holidays and adjusting LOL
-apple wallet compiled and tested, requires a cosmetic fix, ETA: this weekend sometime
-android wallet: java dev found, isolating suitable droid source code for skinning (recommends community? we're scrypt+merge, not sure if plain vanilla LTC droid source could be used)
-web wallet is being dev'd to include an API suitable for twitter/IRC/reddit/etc tipping functions...and potentially...whatever Nugz & Banks come up with.

Life is good...I encourage continued flaming of our project and assuming it's dead because I'm slow updating this thread : P

Awesome man...we've been running a setup like this internally with our mining gear and it's quite helpful...a slow trickle of LTC coming in helps buy exchange listing votes =D
In talking with the ManicMiner folks, they'd indicated they'd be amenable to adding CDN to their merge pool after we get listed on a big exchange to provide liquidity for those miners wishing to minedump.
Working on it...shouldn't take too long ish? FINGERS VERY CROSSED lol =)
A blogger from Toronto (@BitcoinBarbie) stopped by our IRC channel and is putting an article out shortly and she seemed pretty excited about it all, and we're pushing hard on our internal pieces to make CDN more and more and more legit from the ground up.
But Life happens...we're a small tech team of one admin, two main devs, and a revolving door of devs who want to play with bounties or just query about getting involved. Unfortunately often the communications is what gets dropped amidst all the hubbub. I just recovered from food poisoning that kaiboshed a bunch of publicity & editing work I wanted to do this weekend. DOH...what a trip!
Anyway...we apologize for less than stellar communications via this (BTCTalk.org) channel.

THANK YOU KENTA...we really appreciate you rolling this service and sharing it with others. YOU RULE!!!

Thank you, that's very nice of you to say!
I'm not sure why people are not mining this one more. Difficulty is low and the price paid at the exchanges are not that bad considering that this is free coins from the merged mining. LTC is not on the top of the Coinwars profitability list, but merged mining with CDN definitely makes it one of the best!

P.S. I'm not selling all the mined CDN. I think we might see more of this coin in the future.

Hey good morning...yes one of the folks at our shop who keeps a miner on this pool noticed the same issue.

No, this coin has a very stable difficulty and are doing well on the exchanges. Please join!

I recommend Bleutrade and Comcort for trading. They are easy to use and volume is picking up.

Dev, please update announcement page with new exchange Comcort and remove dead pools from the pools list. You might as well add my merged mining pool, as it gives miners both LTC and CDN with the same hashpower!  I've set up a litecoin watchdog and will soon be adding more gridseed miners to make the pool hashrate more stable Wink

As in, "complete"? No, we're actively working on apps for CDN, exchange listings and there is volume. Not a lot, but some =)

As in, "dead"? No. See above.
