Very pretty collectible pieces. Probably the first silver and gold hand-pressed Bitcoin collectibles I would assume?
Design is fantastic. Will reach out via dm for a set or two.
Aaaarrrrrg!

btw, that box design is fantastic, Mopar. Looks a little bit big for a few coins - what are the actual dimensions of this thing?

gabecoin did a 1gram gold - i think it was hand pressed - pretty damn small though icg couldnt slab it as it was too small lol

as for the dimensions - the one I completed is 100mm wide x 85mm deep and 81mm tall --- I made some modifications and now printing at 75% of that size. First of the new ones will be done in 9 hours.

I think the link expires in 2 days but here is a time lapse of the first one printing

Ah, this rings a bell! It only had a BTC stamped on one side, right?
I do have a minted 1 g goldcoin - it's pretty pretty imho, but you do need a microscope to read the text...
(yes, a strong magnifying glass does the job, too)

Ah, not too tiny for a few coins, I thought maybe it's playmobile sized.
That timelapse is so cool! Can you make a cookie-chocolate version? This looks tasty for some reason? xD

Thanks for the link, tread93. I'll check it out. Might learn a new trick. Smiley

FUN FACT #1: Most of these treasures are minted with Satoshi Pirate wearing his eye patch on the right side (his left). The chances of finding a special left-side eye patch (his right) on your coin is exactly 1:10!

Regards,
Chris@TBPCo.

You're welcome! Let me know what you think of it, I find it most intriguing.

I love the spin you put on these with the reverse eye patch coins!!! So basically there are 10 per denomination and are those odds also the same with the 25 1oz gold coins? No wonder you made so many dies on these!!! I was trying to figure that out.... now it makes a lot more sense to me.

smaller box, added logo and mask - short rolls added for size reference. If some of the edges look a little rough, it is the filament - this is an actual wood based filament so its not as smooth as PLA would be. Top of the box is a little white - appears to be from the supports/brim - will try to clean that up tomorrow.

Also there is no painting involved, this is all multicolor filaments.

Positively awesome, fantastic work!
(I never even knew there is an actual wood based material for 3D printing.)
Maybe just a slightly darker color could be more suitable perhaps, IMHO. Or is it possible to stain it afterwards like a real wood? That would be uber-cool with a clear coat finish. And down inside a fish tank like a secret stash...  Grin

It would look better darker / this just happened to be the one I had. Hmm i can try staining it / usually 3d printd can be painted so stain should work too.

are the bitcoin prices fluctuating with the bitcoin price or set?

example - the set of silvers is $350 or .014 btc

however .014 is worth 422 at current price.

Thanks for all the orders, mates!

Me logs say ye still have a bonny chance at a bit of gold, silver, and copper booty!

Aye! The listed BTC price is six days aft and needs new rigging. (I'll try me best to keep her shipshape with a new BTC price each morning.) Regardless, fear not, me hearties! We always honor the most recent price upon billing. It's in our code, after all. Wink

Avast! Fill yer pockets now, mates! Good fortune ne'er lasts forever!

Ahoy, Kialara! Thank ye, sincerely. 'Tis always an agreeable thing, catching a kind word of appreciation for one's craft, especially from a fine fellow Captain as yerself. Smiley

UPDATE: And for the viewing pleasure of all hands aboard, a wee camera's snap of a 1oz Silver piece after a right good bit o' weighing, shaping, clipping, rolling, and filing. She's still a few leagues from finish, but she's an almost equal distance from berth. Only five more steps to go, mates! Grin
