I doubt that Trump is aware of this. The way I see it, it's a currency supporting his administration and it's conservative followers and Patriots. It may well be a another one since it's not the first Trump likeness to have been sold with the promises of it going to be a legal tender.

Too bad people have been burnt as a result of this get rich quick promises they're making.

Exactly, as I have said, this is simply a pump and dump activity that we have been seeing in the last couple of days, (if there are).

All major altcoin is moving because bitcoin is making a big rally. And then this manipulators chooses Trump coin to be their next altcoin that they are going to create a hype and pump it and then sold everything. This coin is not far from getting into a shitcoin. I would say that developers are really made fun of for creating coins that have no intrinsic value. I won't be surprised if this would hit some hyped because of its name but I don't think this will survive and gain long-term investors. I ignore this kind of project creation. If we want to have a good investment, it should be put on potential coins, not into the projects that are just driven by such hyped.
This coin has the HUGE potential to scam...that was my opinion.

Yes, Many scams and fraud schemes take advantage of people's trust and make false promises to get rich quick. Maybe I agree from what you have said that it is better to be careful when considering investing in cryptocurrencies, especially those related to public figures because the owners have not made an official announcement about the launch of cryptocurrencies as the OP said.

Besides, the majority of the world doesn't like trump very much, so I don't think it will make a lot of money in the long run. How many times have I heard that "huge potential thing"? I think thousands of times and most of those coins cannot be found anywhere anymore.
First. This ain't Donald Trump's creation. Second, I doubt it will also come from his team. Third, this might be just one of the scam attempts of a Trump fan who knows his way in the crypto industry. Finally, the used name smells fishy and just wants to fish the Trump supporters to invest in it.
I bet there are victims now. There always is. A foolish 1 or 2 people will bite this kind of bait and thinks they are doing it for supporting their favorite.

I am just glad I experienced a lot of scam attempts before so I can say never to this kind of thing. Let's use our money in a different way, there are more projects out there without a "high risk quick rich" scheme and they are more focused on contributing to the crypto industry than this.
