Chelsea management is willing to sign Alonso. This is a good decision for them. But Alonso needs to be given enough opportunity and time. If chelsea wants to improve very quickly, they should not sign Alonso. Alonso is very talented. He is successful in the bundesliga. Hopefully he will not fail in the premier league.

Chelsea are trying all they could, which ever door they need to knock in order to find the one that could get the job done. Xabi Alonso had a good run with Bayer Leverkusen. He had a good run in the Bundesliga and though the premier league is not usually a place for any weakness, I do think Xavi Alonso would be able to manage the team just fine. He’s being there on the pitch and would have a good hold on the players both on and off the pitch which is something this Chelsea team needs.

Yes he had a good run with Leverkusen but Chelsea has been run down by the owners, I hope he can manage the competition of the premier league. The news came as a surprise because Xabi Alonso can do a lot better than Chelsea especially when Bayern Munich and Liverpool were interested in giving him the job.

The next game they play against Tottenham will be tough on Tuesday night. We're all going to see Tottenham also wining that game against Chelsea. It has shown how backwards they have been this exact season.

Chelsea may be having a bad season but Tottenham have been far worse. I’m confident that they can beat Tottenham on Tuesday.

There is no big difference between managing Chelsea or Real madrid because both teams has high demand for their coach and the owners of these teams has same habit that they don't have more patient to see coach progress because if they see the teams performing bad for several games the coaches will be sacked immediatelly including Alonso if he cannot fulfill their expectation most likely he will be sacked too you can see the proof how many coaches has been sacked by Chelsea owner this season however behind all of the things which i mentioned above i have to says congratulation for Chelsea to gets Alonso because he is one of young talented coach and this could be his first experince to handle premier league teams hopefully he can handle the pressure too

From the h2h record, in the last few seasons MU has often struggled to get full points against Nottingham. But the situation is different now since Carrick seems to understand what the MU squad really needs and they have been consistently getting good results at home. Meanwhile, Nottingham will miss several injured players, and their performance probably won’t be as strong as usual.

This game has an obvious outcome, Manchester United wouldn't want to lose points at this time so they can secure their position. Towards the end of the season other teams are also pushing to overtake that's the more reason why Manchester United are going to do what they can to win today's match and they will definitely win today.

Yeah you are right, among all the coaches that Chelsea has hired recently I think Xabi Alonso will be better than them. He did a wonderful job at Bayer Leverkusen, but at Madrid everything didn't end well , because he has no power over the players. True he knows how the premier league is , because he has once played there, I hope his tactics and idea works. I hope Chelsea can support and give authority over these players, because Chelsea has a populated squad. Absolutely, Alonso feels really good to handle Chelsea especially after what he did at Bayern Leverkusen but Chelsea's issue hasn't just been manager it's been stability and giving coaches real opportunity to control over the club, without that even good manners struggle . Xabi Alonso must be feeling like there is a lot of work to do at Chelsea... The squad is really weak in defense line. The best CB options they have are Chalobah and Colwill.

Both of them are young now. Still a talented young CB can of course be used. But Chalobah makes simple mistakes and isn't reliable as a result. Colwill had an injury period for nearly a year!

Besides it would be nice if they sign a much better GK as well. I don't see a GK like Sanchez at Chelsea level normally.

Bonding between Madrid's players was weak even before Alonso took over. Naturally, this squad needed more time to stabilize. But the Madrid management did not give alonso  enough time. And they got the results. We  have seen a further decline in Madrid's performance since Arbeloa became  manager. Chelsea management will certainly not make the same mistake. If Alonso can bring some stability to Chelsea's performance, they will be happy. But if Alonso fails with chelsea then the management will also sack him. But I agree with you that Chelsea management will not rush. They will probably give Alonso a long time to  stabilize and strengthen the squad.

I agree, Real Madrid has shown the world, after the sack of Xabi, they did not get any better or in fact I could say maybe even got worse as well. The problem was never with Xabi Alonso and it was with the players and we have seen that gradually later into the season. So we could safely say that Xabi is still the great manager we have seen during Leverkusen period, and he only ended up at a problematic club.

The issue right now is that Chelsea is also a club with problems, so I am not sure if Xabi will have a chance to do great here, I am sure they will finish higher next season with him than they finish this season, but I am still not expecting a top four finish, I feel like 5th or 6th would be more likely scenario for them.

The whole point of the deal was that he will be given the full rights to control the club. That alone scares me a lot, because he saw Chelsea and said that they are doing things the wrong way and he will do a lot better and he decided that nobody has any right to buy or sell any players and he will be the one to fully control the club if he is given the job and Chelsea somehow accepted that. This could be either very good for them, or it will be very bad for them, I have no idea.

The referee has been getting a lot of blame online from Chelsea supporters, to be honest I don’t see that could have changed the result for Chelsea. Sure, maybe a penalty could have got them a goal but Manchester City are one of the strongest sides in England, and Europe even. I doubt a penalty could have stopped City from winning the title.

Before this concluded game against Nottingham Forest that they won 3-2, they have already qualified for the uefa champions league but even at that, this winning against Nottingham Forest team seal and cement their position in the number third on the table, so try to get your facts right because making any proclamations.

Talking about their game today, it was quite impressive against a desperate Nottingham Forest side that wants to avoid relegation. So they are in good hands under the leadership of Michael Carrick.

Mbeumo and Cunha scored goals today. But too many chances were wasted in this match by Man United. Mbeumo needs to be more clinical. And Zirkzee is good at distributing the ball, but when he needs to do his job as a striker, he seems clumsy, like a corporate employee playing fun football

In the last 10 minutes, there were also some miscalculations by Bruno. He should have passed instead of trying too hard to keep the ball. Also, he should have had 3-4 assists in this game if the finishers had been more clinical inside Nottingham Forest's penalty box.

About Casemiro, United with Casemiro just feels different compared to United without him in the previous match. Overall, a good game for Man United. High determination despite still leading.
