Most people are going to bet against a MU that has not Been Able to win for anything in the world and they are or are going to do it against the number 1 in the table , it is very easy to establish that Liverpool will run over them, although there have been cases where the Last one in the table is capable of beating the first one in the table, for me it will not be a very  Complicated match for Liverpool if they play as they have played in the last matches, but if they change strategies and get confident they can go down and end up losing against MU, in the same way these PL matches make Sunday a much more pleasant day.

Manchester United are going through a very difficult time, if I'm not mistaken, these are the most difficult times for the team in their entire history. And Liverpool are in optimal shape and beat all opponents both in the Premier League and in the Champions League, so I think they will have no difficulty beating such a Manchester United. Actually, after the dismissal of ten Hag, Manchester United became even worse, so I don't see any reason why they could beat Liverpool.

Liverpool fans everywhere want to win against Manchester United. Manchester United's phase is not only this season but since they left the figure of coach Ferguson.
Since then, there have been six coaches and Amorim is the seventh coach who has still not been able to fulfill the wishes of the fans.
In addition to winning which is targeted to widen the gap with the team below, Liverpool have another ego when playing against Manchester United.

I never expected Manchester City's performance to drop this season, Manchester City's poor performance came as a shock. Manchester City is currently in 6th position, they are finding it difficult to win most of their matches. They were able to break their losing streak in their last match against Leicester City. Let’s just hope Manchester City will bounce back, but with Manchester City currently in this position, no matter how hard Manchester City plays, I don’t think they will be able to win the premier league title this season. Liverpool, which is currently in 1st position, won’t really be dropping points from the way Liverpool is playing.
No one expected Man City will perform very badly in the last few matches. Man City always showed great performance under Guardiola's management in the past seasons. The current performance surely makes a lot of people to feel worried with the future of Man City. Since they were defeated by Tottenham in EFL Cup in October 31, they are always difficult to perform consistently. I think there should be an internal problem with Man City, it is not only about the injury factor.

I think the same as you. Man City seems very hard to win the EPL title this season. Liverpool looks very strong and they can perform consistently since the early of this season. It seems only Arsenal which can challenge Liverpool, but they have quite a lot point gap. Unfortunately, Arsenal is also declining their performance during this season.

This is not surprising and we should have realized it from the start, where ahead of the 2024/2025 competition season, Manchester City made improvements by selling a number of its players. Man City lacked substitute players who were on par with the core players, so when the injury storm came, Man City experienced a player crisis, and coach Pep Guardiola was unable to anticipate how to overcome this. The injury storm experienced by City made City's back line weak so that it was quite easy for opponents to penetrate City's defense and score goals, as well as the midfield which seemed to have lost its creativity in carrying out attacks.

and being able to win the league again this season, this is part of the coach and team's plan before the season started. but now they have slipped from the top of the standings, and so is their performance in the UCL which is threatened to be eliminated early in the qualifying round. and from several articles that I have read, that now Pep has lowered Man City's target for the end of this season, and the target is to finish in the top 4, in order to secure a ticket to the Champions League. and I think this is a realistic target for Man City to achieve at the end of the season.

Amorim currently facing challenges and also tremendous pressure to restore the performance of the Red Devils squad after ten hag brought them into the pit of slump previously, coming as a coach with a championship mentality from the Portuguese league, precisely so far Amorim has not been able to make many changes to their squad and even every week they continue to slump in the league standing, the match against Liverpool will obviously be another difficult match for Amorim, especially now that he has not been able to find the right formation and strategy in facing each opponents,  so like you are think, of course I also think that facing Liverpool will only add to Manchester United long list of defeats this season.

Ruben Amorim stats as manager of Manchester United So far:

Yes, that's right. Man United's chances of winning or drawing are indeed difficult, especially since Man United is currently slumping while Liverpool is doing well in the EPL and UCL. Because Liverpool will appear with full strength, Konate and Bradley are ready. Slot is also a coach who learned a lot from Nottingham Forest on how to deal with teams with a low defensive line and man to man marking. West Ham's block press was successfully eliminated with many micro tactics and player substitutions. So I think Liverpool can win this match.

Besides, if you think about it. Liverpool was once as bad as when Man United was at the peak of its glory in the SAF era. Liverpool has never been ranked 14th in the Premier League standings even though the coach has changed. Even in the Rafa Benitez era, Liverpool once beat Man United at Old Trafford with a score of 0-4. Moreover, now the current generation of Liverpool is above Man United.

At least, maybe with odds like that is also a form of recognition, that Manchester United may still be seen as capable of making it difficult for Liverpool to win. So the bookies do not make very low odds for Liverpool as you mean even though indeed, I also feel if is related to odds like that for a team that on paper can be sure to win, then I would think there will be a surprise that will happen. But indeed, if we purely only consider the trend they have at this moment, then of course Manchester United will not succeed in making any surprises at Anfield.

Arsenal are second in the table with 39 points from 19 games after winning their third consecutive match and this will have a positive impact on their upcoming matches. Coach Arteta is optimistic that his team will continue to fight to win the next matches and have the possibility of overtaking Liverpool. Arsenal have been showing their great performance after beating Brentford 3-1 in yesterday's match and are only 6 points behind Liverpool. Gabriel Jesus scored a goal and he showed his team's great performance. Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Marinor also managed to score a goal after the break. Despite the team's key players not being able to take the field due to the virus infection, they still gave the fans a good game. Forward Kai Havertz was unable to play due to illness and midfielder Declan Rice came on in the second half with a concussion. However, the days ahead are going to be challenging for Liverpool if Arsenal play to their potential.
In as much as Arsenal has had a decent run of form recently in the Premier League winning all three straight matches in the EPL which has seen them rise on the standings to second position, I don't think they can be called a worthy contender in this year's EPL title race. I doubt they will be able to overtake Liverpool on the standings. I don't think there is any team including Arsenal that can stop Liverpool from winning the EPL title this season.

Football is unpredictable. If you were told during when Manchester City was performing well that there will be a time when they will lose consecutive games will you have agreed?. Moreover, this is premier league whereby towards the ending of the season that it used to become obvious who will win the title but for now, since they still have about more 19 matches before the season ends, anything can happen even if Arsenal may not be strong enough to contend the title, another team can emanate because we can't rule out the possibility of Chelsea or Nottingham Forest who is third in the league table to become a title contender because they have been able to maintain a good level of consistency since the season kicked off. Remember that Liverpool was presented with similar opportunities of topping the league table is past seasons but the dropped along the line.

Half of the Premier League season is done, so I thought it would be fun to rank the standout players from the first half for each of the top clubs. Here's how my list turned out:

- Liverpool: Mohamed Salah
- Arsenal: Bukayo Saka
- Chelsea: No debate here, Cole Palmer
- Man City: A tough call, but I'll go with Bernardo Silva
- Tottenham: Dejan Kulusevski

Do you agree with my picks? Who do you think has been the standout player for the top Premier League teams in the first half of the season?

Agreed with Salah. He is obviously carrying the team on his shoulders this season.  Wink  Being top scorer and having most assists in the PL is just incredible work...

Saka is really the best player at Arsenal for a long while. I would agree with that also. I just love his technique.

Palmer is not from our world. I'm 100% sure!  Grin  He is a steal from Manchester City. If it weren't for him I don't know what Chelsea would do now.

As for Bernardo Silva and Kulusevski, I can't agree that much. Silva can do better than this. Kulusevski is having a really good season. But I really like to watch Brennan Johnson and Son also. They are also as good as him.

Manchester City are not counted among the teams that will be in a title race this season seriously because of their hard time this season. They are not in good form, and that is why they have still fallen behind. I won’t say that is the reason why Arsenal gets to the top 2 of the table; Manchester City can still be in form, and if Arsenal are in good form, they can get to the top too, so I don’t think it is really because another team is not in good form that another team will go higher. You know, it’s football. Manchester City may be in form but not as in the previous season, while Arsenal can be in a good shape and surpass them.

Manchester City was one of everyone's favorite teams to win the league before this season started. However, after some weeks, they began losing points. Despite this, people still have hope for them as one of the two favorite teams to win the league. But seriously, when everyone sees the gap between them and the top team on the table, it becomes evident that Manchester City cannot keep up with the Premier League title race anymore.

As for Arsenal, the way they are playing makes it hard to say whether they have a chance to beat Liverpool. Arsenal is inconsistent. When they are not supposed to mess up a match, that’s exactly when they will. They start losing points against teams they should easily beat. Arsenal doesn't seem to know how to take advantage of opportunities, and if they continue like this, it will take them many seasons before they can win the Premier League trophy.

I love this post, but damn why exclude Manchester United? You don't qualify them a big club in the Premier League no more? Well, I see that even non fans are done with them and how they're playing.

- Mohamed Salah is not just the best player for Liverpool but also the best in the premier league competition currently. Have you seen his goals and assist contributions for the reds this season? Mind blowing 🤯

- Bukayo Saka not consistent due to injuries so I'll rather Saliba or David Raya. Crazy pick, yeah? Lol.

- Cole Palmer obviously,  the coldest man in the world. But how well has he thrived against the big sides? 🤔

- Bernado Silva also a dead wood but I'd go with him without arguing or having much debates.

- Son dropped form so far this season but, Dejan has been good for both club and country go see his stats.

It's hard to tell if this is the most difficult season for Manchester United in their entire history. But since 2013 Manchester United has always been a crawling side. You can't directly point out what's their problem, yet they have problems. Manchester United miserable season will continue when they face Liverpool at Anfield, because I don't see anything they are playing that will make them have any chance against Liverpool. Although premier league Fa always have a way of making high profile matches in the premier League end in a draw lately. Manchester United and Liverpool are old time rivals, I think they are the biggest rivals in the premier League. And when it comes to rivals playing expect anything to happen. Manchester United did it against Manchester city this season when they miraculously got 3 points at Etihad stadium. Don't you think that something similar can happen at Anfield this weekend?

Liverpool fans everywhere want to win against Manchester United. Manchester United's phase is not only this season but since they left the figure of coach Ferguson.
Since then, there have been six coaches and Amorim is the seventh coach who has still not been able to fulfill the wishes of the fans.
In addition to winning which is targeted to widen the gap with the team below, Liverpool have another ego when playing against Manchester United.
Manchester United worsened after repairs in a few months back but did not last long and of course when dealing with Liverpool with the state of Manchester United Sekarangg was truly less profitable for Manchester United because they seemed to lose their power in a row so as to dismiss the coach.
It is unlikely to get a victory against Liverpool who are very optimal in many matches with his consistency Man United is not a problem of course.

Arsenal football team won the last match against Brentford football team. That was one handed match in which Arsenal team was dominant and all players of that team looked in good body language and they did back to back goals in this match.  Mbeumo did first goal of the match and he did goal at 13 minutes of the match and he gave good start to his team but after his goal,no player from his team could goal in the rest of time and Players were dominant because their possession was outclass and they always tried to do more goals in which they became successful in the end of game.Jesus did second goal of the match and he did goal at 29 minutes of the match and after his goal , score of both teams was equal and that was 1-1 and after his goal Merino did next goal and he did goal at 50 minutes and team Arsenal won the match easily by high margin.

Arsenal is gradually trying to restore its glory because they are still behind and I just hope that eventually, arsenal will be able to keep up because its problem is it is not consistent with whatever it is doing and this is one of the major problems we are facing and that is why we won't have a choice than to be in between because when you put to much hope in them that is when they will start misbehaving and what is annoying the most is that this is supposed to be our season because we have all the opportunity now that most clubs are not in there form we would have been doing very well by now.

And if not for Mbeumo they wouldn't have any record of goals because Brentford was a worthy opponent at first until we could win, so the rate at which Arsenal is going we might not really be able to do any serious thing this season, and their next game is against Brighton and I have a good feeling that we are going to be able to win at least the hope we can have now is for Liverpool should lose a point.

The odds difference between Liverpool and Man United is very far apart and that means there will be no surprises in the match.
Although football is full of surprises, but seeing Liverpool's current performance makes me even more confident that the temporary top of the standings will continue to maintain its position.
While Man United still hasn't found a way to perform more consistently. So this is the reason I am very confident that Liverpool will take home full points from Man United.

It is really difficult to pick a player from Manchester City. I guess that I would continue with Haaland but he also disappoints me recently to be honest. Sad Your choices for Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are obvious and valid for me as well. I believe Salah is currently the best player with this performance not even only in the Premier League but also the world. A couple of more names can be added for Tottenham too. If we take Manchester United into account too Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo step forward. But unfortunately they are having a terrible season.

I don't know what ego you mean but what I know is that Liverpool is far superior in terms of their strength this season. Of course fans hope that their idol team can get 3 points at home and that's quite natural because fans want to see Salah et al succeed in winning the trophy this season. Imagine Manchester United's performance is much worse this season, there is no better improvement in their playing style.

Losing many points is certainly a big problem for Manchester United, even so football is full of hope and before the match starts we can say anything but the result we have to see how they play on the field. Statistics show that Liverpool can beat Manchester United with many goals, but that can happen and it can't happen because if Manchester United can improve their defense line well in this match it will certainly be difficult for Salah et al to break through the goal guarded by Onana.

Actually, after the dismissal of ten Hag, Manchester United became even worse, so I don't see any reason why they could beat Liverpool.

The most difficult period for Manchester United? even in their last decade after the SAF era I think it was the most difficult period in every season Cheesy

They still can't improve their performance even though on some occasions they look very good but in the end everything will be the same where the instability of performance on the field has always been a recurring problem for Manchester United so the situation doesn't change much from season to season.

Currently their problems are quite complex for Amorim even though he is still quite new to the coaching chair but with the current condition of the players it will actually be very difficult for Amorim even though he will force some things it still won't end well in the end, but hopefully there will be an answer from Amorim for player transfers because there is still a lot he has to fix in terms of current players who are only expensive in terms of price but minimal contribution on the field.

I am sure that United will eventually do better, it's just that they have built a squad that is filled with not so great players, and Amorim is trying to make them play within his system, to players who all played under Erik Ten Hag and do not know how Amorim wants them to play, so it is taking time. I believe next season is the one they will do better, plus it's almost guaranteed they won't have UCL or any UEFA competition, not even conference league, which means that they will not have hard time playing that many games. If they could end up losing EFL quickly, that would not be too bad neither, or FA, they should pick one of them, and not the other.

EFL would be good, if they do that and lose FA, then they would have minimum games, and would be much more rested than all other big clubs. This could allow them to focus on the league a lot more, and have fitness to beat teams even better than them, because those teams would be tired and have fatigue issues.

When Ruben Amorim was appointed the manager of Manchester United, I wasn't expecting him to perform magic by immediately making them a big contender for major trophies and that's because the club was performing below average before the former Sporting CP Manager arrived. Though I expected better results than what I'm currently seeing in the club but I think Amorim will definitely improve the club and make them a strong force in English football again.
