This was suppose to say "Manchester United were unlucky and Liverpool were also lucky" because we all watched this game and Liverpool were below the standard we know of how the play unlike struggling Utd that came with their A game and shocked us all with their superb game.

I really liked Amorim's game this time. The players look much better in games against big clubs of the PL. But they can't keep it up consistently throughout a season. This is mostly due to the lack of quality in their squad I'm afraid.    I don't find it good for a club like Manchester United. I hope Amorim will make it a little better until the end of this month. They have no money problem already. Erik ten Hag splurged on unnecessary players. Hopefully Amorim won't repeat the same mistake. He needs to keep the club alive in the PL this season.

I think Liverpool has performed quite well. They dominated the match, they only wasted some opportunities to score more goals.
The season isn't over yet, you can't state that Liverpool is like finishing this season with a wonderful result. Even if Liverpool looks perfectly in the first half of the season, we don't know what will happen in the second half of the season. However, I'm sure Liverpool will keep playing consistently.

Have you checked his stats since he managed Man United? I personally assume he isn't better that Ten Hag.

You can't totally blame the players. It is also the lack of coach capability. Amorim applies no proper strategy and formation. It makes Man United players to play under performance. They have improved well under Van Nistelrooy's management, now they are decreasing their performance again. It is because the players feel uncomfortable with Amorim's approach. TBH, I doubt that Amorim will make this team to perform better.

They have no money problem already.

Nottingham Forest and EPL

We actually need no more evidence to understand that Nottingham Forest did not come to joke this season. Most times I asked myself question to why small teams like Nottingham Forest will be getting it right this season while big teams like Manchester United will be struggling. I personally believe that this is about building for the future. When Nottingham Forest gained promotion to the English Premier League, the match 23 signings and we laughed at them because the assignments were not popular kind of superstars. Little did we know that they were building a formidable team, and today I can tell you that with the rate Nottingham Forest is playing, they will definitely make top four this season because they are not in any European competition that will give them much distraction. They are exerting same energy Leicester city exerted years back.

Before this match was played, Manchester United had always lost in four matches in all competitions, but when playing at Anfield, Amorim's troops managed to show something different, they managed to make Liverpool have trouble and ended the match with a score of 2-2. Liverpool struggled to control the game after going 2-1 up as Manchester United players continued to press by sending direct passes into their defensive area. This strategy was very effective and they managed to steal a point at Anfield and end their poor results in the last four matches.

When ever I see a Manchester United fan I always feel pity for them best the last two previous seasons is just as bad as it is now nothing have really changed and at some point they were even doing better than Chelsea but not now again Chelsea is far better than them, it take a high love of a die hard fan to continue supporting that club because even when they are able to draw Liverpool I was not moved because I don't know how it happened but seems to be that luck was just on there side if not we all know how Manchester United have been seriously affected by this.

And they played strategically with Liverpool but am not surprised at all because of to much disappointment we have gotten from them, imagine them been at the 13 position that is like worse for there kind of reputation but they look helpless and as if there is no longer solution for them, even with the fact that they have gotten new coach, their is no difference.

By now they should have adopted to there performance the better they accept it and there and work on there self because Manchester United is losing there reputation as the red devil.

I don't think Liverpool really struggled in that match, every team can face what Liverpool has face in that match. Beside, they have lost only one game this season and when you check the team they lost too, they are in relegation zone, that's Southampton sitting in 20th and you wondered how they did it but you know that football is football and it's better that they don't lose, it was draw that other teams still need more time to points to come close.

Manchester united is happy but what is ahead of them is bigger than what they just achieved against Liverpool. One pint is juts a mockery to Liverpool but they have lost 4 games before that match and they all look excited like they have been moved to the top of the table, reminiscing number 13th place for more than 2 month and this is what they are using as stand ovation when literally the team is suffering and malfunctioning.

Manchester United played well in the match, their performance in the match was a surprising one because most people didn’t expect Manchester United to get a draw in the match. Due to their performance in their previous matches, lots of people were expecting the match to be an easy win for Liverpool, but they couldn’t get a win in the match, they had to struggle before they could get a draw in the match.

Harry Maguire lost a great chance towards the ending of the second half of the match, if he had converted the opportunity into a goal, then Manchester United would have gone away with three points in the match, but Maguire wasted the opportunity. To be honest, Maguire played well in the match, he was able to block some shots from getting to the goalkeeper. Harry Maguire played well in the match.

In their next Epl game against Southampton I don't expect much from them though.

Manchester United might end up finding it difficult to win against Southampton. I won’t be surprised if they end up losing the match or playing draw in the match, because Manchester United performed well against Liverpool, It doesn’t mean the same thing will happen in their next match.

That is a great summary here for everyone who is still delusional enough to think that anything has changed for Manchester United yet, but realistically looking at the results, I doubt anyone thought that Amorim would arrive at Manchester United and out of nothing turn the team into a real Premier League competitor again. I think this is not Amorim's fault by the way because my feeling is that Manchester United doesn't have the players to compete on the best level. They have far too many players who seem to have the potential, but seldomly tap into it and play to the best of their abilities. Amorim has most likely been deluded by the money and the name that the club has made for itself in the past. But this is not the Manchester United when players like Wayne Rooney were in their prime in the old days. This is the Manchester United that has players like Rashford who play one good game and two bad games repeatedly.

They need an overhaul on many positions or otherwise Amorim won't have a chance no matter whether he makes adjustments here and there or changes training methods. That's not the real problem they have.

Liverpool captain Van Dijk said his feelings of disappointment for failing to win his match yesterday but still felt quite lucky to be able to bring home a point after Harry Maguire wasted a great opportunity in the final minutes towards the end of the match, maybe if Maguire had managed to take advantage of that opportunity Manchester United would have celebrated.

Although the results of yesterday's match against Manchester United were better than before, Amorim still felt disappointed with their development. Even though I think that they were able to match Liverpool, it was quite good development, but it does not mean that the same thing will happen in the next match.

To be honest Manchester United surprised me and a lot of other people after holding hot favourite Liverpool to share the points.
Perhaps the bad weather caused by snow❄️ could have helped them, but they surely played better and almost got maximum point's against the Reds...and more surprisingly was one of the unlikely goal scorer by Martinez who got the opener before Gapko got Liverpool back in the game almost immediately, and Utd players should be blam themselves for allowing that goal to come so sooner, otherwise good game.

The weather was a bit bad but just like Liverpool played in this bad weather so Manchester United played in this bad weather so aside from the weather we have to discuss how any team performed in this match. Undoubtedly, Manchester United performed well at Liverpool's ground considering Liverpool.

But Manchester United have proved that no team is difficult for them. Manchester United have seen a very competitive performance in this match.  Of course, they have to maintain the consistency of this tough competition, only then they can improve further.

They can not satisfy with a position in mid of table and see it's fine for them. Especially after they already spent a lot of money for developments in coaches, player transfers and salary for their players, coaches and staffs, their rank so far is very terrible. Even a position on in top four is a failure, and now we are talking about lower positions like 6th, 9th, 10th as their success in this season. Seriously, it's not what Manchester United I know with Alex Ferguson or Jose Mourinho.

Weather is bad or good for both teams and they all play in same condition in a same match. Liverpool did not play too well like expectation and Manchester United outperformed so that 1 point is very deserved for Manchester United and Amorim in this hard time. One point from a strong opponent like Liverpool can help Manchester United a lot in their confidence, and this draw can be a light at the end of tunnel for them. At least it's one of hope for their improvements in coming matches.

There isn't a way for Manchester United to sack him ever right now. They have paid a fee to get him released from Sporting and you can bet that he has an expensive clause in his contract if they would sack home before the contract expires. It is reported that they paid €12 million for him and I think they pay him around €25 million in salaries for his 2.5 years contract.

But apart from the financial burden, this would be highly dubious and come across as incompetent if they take action against ten Hag, get a new coach while the season is running and then sack that new coach in less than two months. It would be funny to be honest, but no they are not going to do that.

But do you actually think that Amorim is to blame? Ten Hag left behind a big mess and Amorim was supposed to clean that up, but is it possible with the same players that ten Hag deemed worthy of playing in the Premier League to clean up that mess and play for titles? That's not clear-sighted I think. It had to happen this way and maybe Manchester United's focus is already put on next season while they try to keep the damage as low as possible this season.

Manchester United performed very impressively in their last match, although they failed to get 3 points in that match but at least a draw against Liverpool will be a better motivation for them to face the next match.

Of course the result surprised everyone especially playing at Anfield stadium which is famously haunted by opponents. Moreover, the performance between Liverpool and Manchester United this season is very far but Manchester United beyond predictions was able to get points at Liverpool's home. But unfortunately Manchester United's performance was inconsistent even though they had changed coaches as in other big matches where at that time after defeating Manchester City, then in the next few matches Manchester United actually lost. The momentum of the draw obtained at Liverpool's home ground should have continued to be increased by Manchester United to continue to achieve positive results to improve their ranking because if not, it is not impossible that Manchester United will potentially experience relegation this season.

The recent draw suggests they will experience the same thing in their next game, the EPL has some strong teams and Liverpool could drop points against them. Ruben Amorim has learnt from the Manchester City game earlier already and can't just believe that his team are ready, they need to be consistent for at least like 5 games before he may sees that there have been an actual improvement on the team.

Manchester United has never been consistent I hope he can speak to his men to continue well even in their  next EPL match against Southampton.

Yes if it was some other club Manchester United would have won the match on the Anfield because the challenge was much for Liverpool but they prevail. Arsenal is playing their semi-finals today with Newcastle United on the EFL league, the semi finals fixture is Liverpool to play with Tottenham Hotspur but Liverpool match is tomorrow being 8 January and after meeting the first time they will all meet again while those that was playing at home will be the away team, is very interesting, so actually Arsenal or Liverpool will win the cup because Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur is not a contender.
