Manchester City will be trying to get 3 points away at Newcastle United. Manchester City's task is certainly not easy, but Newcastle have not started the season very well. I think City will win, albeit with difficulty.

Manchester City are starting to recover from their early-season slump and are in excellent form, especially after beating Liverpool in their previous match. Furthermore, Haaland is in peak form, consistently scoring goals. This will undoubtedly pose a significant threat to Newcastle defense when Haaland is at his peak. I'm very optimistic that Manchester City will win, especially with Pep Guardiola, a brilliant coach who can always find solutions to formulate team strategies when facing big teams.

Cole Palmer broke his toe by hitting it against the door. Another very unfortunate injury. He will definitely miss the Barcelona and Arsenal matches. He hadn't played for 2 months due to a groin injury and just as he was getting back to full training, this unfortunate incident occurred. This could happen to anyone, we shouldn't blame the player. Maresca also emphasized this. They have to continue with their game plan without him for a few more weeks. Chelsea played pretty good and won a lot of games without him this season, but they are definitely much stronger with him.

I've been waiting his comeback, and very bad news to see he gets another injury. Things worsen with how we still get no information about his return date. It seems it's gonna take pretty long for him to recover, but i've heard Chelsea already given him adapted boot to boost his recovery.

I hope he will be absence for a few weeks or a bit more. I don't wanna hear him absence like until the end of season.

His club still needs him despite the availability some brazillian talents. It's very bad to miss him against Barcelona, which i have been waiting so long.

I'm quite certain it will be a straight winning for Manchester City no doubt as they need that point very bad so they will play like their life depends on it because if they are to be be title contenders they really gats to be winning for now till they've gathered enough points to keep them run else Arsenal is winning that trophy but I'd really like it if Arsenal win this season English premier League title if not for anything but for the good work Mikel Arteta have done on that team, they should at least win this season title in honor for him and his good gesture towards the club.

Today there are two matches that I'm quite excited to watch, which are Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest and Newcastle vs Manchester City. I just want to see how they look after the international break. Some players look mentally exhausted, like Szoboszlai whose hopes have been dashed after failing to qualify for the World Cup. Liverpool are under pressure not to drop any more points, as their current position in the table is very poor, from 11 games only 6 wins and 5 losses.

It is a very easy game for Chelsea on paper. Burnley have been horrible in defense and offense both. They can't play well against big teams (for example the Arsenal game  ). It should be easy for Chelsea to dominate and win.

I expect a solid return by Liverpool after the break. I don't think Sean Dyche could resist them well at Anfield. I even thought of a win with a handicap but I changed it to a safer choice after.

Lastly, I expect a recovery by Bournemouth after losing 2 games in a row. Yeah West Ham won their last 2 games. But they were against Burnley and Newcastle both home. I think they won't steal any points today.

Some occurrences of unexpected events can be painful, i broke mine too last month , so i can understand, but it's going to be a big blow for the Chelsea's side since majority of there attacks comes from Palmer, especially with there upcoming match against Barcelona in the champions league, am lowkey happy though because palmer is a threat to us.

Concerning the Burnley - Chelsea match, inasmuch as majority of us have the feeling that Chelsea is going to win we shouldn't forget that Burnley holds one of best home records in the top four English tier leagues, playing 28 games with just two loses, one which was against Liverpool and that match the goal later came at the dying minutes of 90+5' the goal from Salah, So we should be careful with whatever bet we are placing putting in mind that this is the premier league and Burnley is at home.

City being favourites is not a surprise, they are the better team and they are going for the title. Doesn't mean City will win, doesn't even mean City will get the title, it just means they have a lot more to lose if they do not get the win here. Newcastle on the other hand looks like not a great team already, and if they lose, it would be expected result for them and nobody will question why they lost, because we all know that they would lose, that is what is expected from this game.

City has a lot more to lose in this game, so they will play a lot better than Newcastle. Another point, unless Newcastle starts to change in this game suddenly, we are seeing a team that is doing terrible, so everyone expects them to be terrible again.

This is certainly very frustrating because when Chelsea had a big chance to win against Barcelona (as many of Barcelona's players are injured), ​​but now they have to face the reality that one of their key players cannot take part in the match. Football is indeed a team game and should not depend on just one player, but without Cole Palmer, it will likely have an impact on their performance.

How do you feel about Liverpool today? Shouldn't it be an easy win for them technically? I mean despite their horrible recent form I feel like this is the opportunity to get a convincing victory. 

Wirtz, Bradley and Frimpong out. We might see Szoboszlai on the right back. I don't think Forest can keep up with them. The thing Sean Dyche could do is only not to concede as long as possible. However I think Liverpool will get a good score advantage in the first half.

Palmer is not back but Chelsea is going to win Burnley, West Ham United was also having some who were not on the match because of non recovery but they win Burnley so the weekend point is for Chelsea. Manchester City recently win Liverpool but Nottingham Forest will not get draw but the goals Liverpool is going to score them. Is it because you don't no about Manchester City and Newcastle United I'm not seeing them on your already staked?, because when I saw your games and were the ones we believe will loss is, I thought everybody will like to use Manchester city since Newcastle United is on the poor form with those clubs so what do you think might be for Manchester City this weekend?.

Funny thing is, Newcastle is team thing that can easily charge at any point, they can be sometimes very unpredictable with their approach when they meet a big team, I saw this when I watch their encounter with Liverpool. Man City is on the recovery part no doubt about that, but this is st James park, however Manchester city wouldn't want to compromise any game at this point. For me, I would gladly seat on the fence on this game.

The game would be tight for Man City for the same reason they need to win, Newcastle would endeavor to drop city's points. But city has the tempo and can outsmart Newcastle in the second half. As for Arteta he has to work further on his winning streak, it'll be remarkable for gunners to lift the trophy, the bridesmaid got to be the bride someday.

Mate, your parlay picks are relatively safe especially with the first two elite side it favoured to win. Chelsea are playing away but it wouldn't stop them from winning Burnley that haven't being positive with their games and I don't see any changes from them against Chelsea.... Coming back from the international break It would actually be an encouraging start for Liverpool beating Nottingham Forest before they go into the UCL against PSV. A win this weekend would undoubtedly brace them up for that encounter. However, Bournemouth Vs. Westham is a game that's just too dicey to me.

The first half is almost over and Chelsea is on a 1-0 lead. Burnley is trying to balance the game but Chelsea wouldn't give them that chance. Cucurella performed brilliantly by stopping all the efforts of his visitors from breaking through Chelsea defense.

Chelsea is currently leading Burnley 0:1 at half time, and with the way the game is going i think there will be more goals in the second half, Burnley started the game very well, yea seem to be the team attacking the most, forcing Chelsea to be at alert especially with their defenders. Chelsea in the other hand really tried to absorb all the pressure from Burnley in the first half. Towards the 30th minutes of the game I thin Burnley started slowing down a little and Chelsea start getting more in the game and were able to register a goal courtesy of A Pedro Neto header from a great assist cross from Jammie Gittens.

Chelsea are only lucky in this first half that the Burnley strikers lacks creativity, else they would've been down by a goal. Those two clear chances attributed by their carelessness isn't worth it. E. Fernandez impact isn't felt in the match at all, more like he's still feeling the impact of his knee injury and so the Chelsea midfield is far from working. A. Santos is doing very fine defensively for a midfielder but Enzo ineffectiveness is weakening the midfield and hence they're only relying on the wingers to move the ball forward. I also feel that Garnacho should be introduced so that the left wing would come alive to some extent. Gittens isn't giving the defenders much pressure there that can allow the center to open up and get penetrated. It's still Chelsea leading by a goal, I hope they do better in the second half.

However, Burnley were unsuccessful in their attempts and were trailing 1-0 in the first half. The second half will not be easy for Chelsea, I always like counter-attacks, even against Chelsea.
