With the level of inconsistency Liverpool are can they even make it to the top 4 and play champions league football next season? This has become something to worry about because the fans are still not sure of what will be their fate before the end of this year with how frequent the drop point, losing of games every week is now a normal thing for them which is disturbing, after losing without a goal against Nottingham Forest they still went on to lose against PSV, can this be a sign that Liverpool's manager slot is not the man for the job?
We can as well place a wager on Liverpool to be dropping points every weekend in the English Premier League. Anfield is now a common ground where any club that travel to the stadium win games and collect all 3 solid points without difficulty. Liverpool is in shambles and the headcoach, Arne Slot is doing absolutely nothing to help things. Common this is Liverpool were talking about here, absolutely no level or standard from them. Liverpool really need to wake up from slumber and treat themselves as defending Champions because none of us seem to understand what's going on.

Slot is the one suffering the whole messed up situation the club is facing at the moment because they see him as the only one to throw the first blame at, Liverpool can still get over this poor performance they are experiencing but it will take time. The fans can't wait for long that is if they say slot should be given a little more time, it won't happen because is sad to see the epl champions not acting like the champion that they are. In some cases the blame should be channelled to the players because they are the ones in the field of play and they are declining in performance, they should work more on the defense because if you ask me I'll say the midfielders are doing well with the strikers but when their opponent start scoring it weakens the other players, that's how I see it. For me I'd say they will continue like this till the second half of the season before we see them winning games with a better form.

The only remedy Liverpool have got this season is to sack Arne Slot else their misery continues

I'm surprised Arne Slot is still keeping his job. Liverpool is a team that gives probably much more time to their managers. But man I don't know...

He has just lost so many games recently. And that loss against PSV at home must have been the thing ending his Liverpool career.   Sad

I think they should find a way to convince Klopp to get back to the team in case of sacking Slot.
But why is no one talking about Mohammed Salah, why are we only talking about Arne Slot, well I know that whatever happens in a team the manager is always talked about and he is the one that will be held responsible for whatever bad situation that the team find themselves in, but I’m really and more worried about Salah, after he signed the contract his been a shadow of himself, now he is a leader and a Legend of the club why is he not saying anything as a leader, it’s just Virgil Van Dijk that is talking about this situation, last season when he wanted a new contract he was talking about himself and now he isn’t saying anything anymore about the club situation, it was Curtis Jones that came out and said something in the last game against PSV, and now the blame is on the manager, and it’s not the managers fault that Salah isn’t playing well, I’m obviously disappointed in Salah he isn’t doing enough and he should be criticized for the situation.

The manager is only at fault, when things goes wrong but the players aren’t playing well or executing the game plan of the manager, but it’s football when things like this happens the manager will suffer for the situation, but I will also blame the players for the horrible performance, well if they are looking for manager I don’t think there is any good coaches out there anymore, probably they have to start talking to Jurgen Klopp to come back because that is the only good manager I know that is free from a job currently.

Not the best week for Premier League clubs in Europe: just four wins and five losses overall. At least the Europa League brought something positive — both English teams won. And Aston Villa had pure drama: Malen got a cut on his head while celebrating a goal after a Young Boys fan threw a cup at him, but he stayed on the pitch and scored again. Absolute warrior stuff.

Despite the rough week, England still sits comfortably at the top of the season rankings. The chances of earning that extra Champions League spot for the Premier League’s fifth-placed team are still very strong. The real battle is for the second bonus CL place:

10.944 – England
9.857 – Germany
9.571 – Italy
9.400 – Portugal
9.375 – Poland
9.250 – Spain

They still sit very comfortably at the top because if I am not wrong, a team can win 2 points with a win, 1 point with a draw per game. Given that they are over 1,000 points ahead of Germany, this would need a lot of games to be overtaken by anyone there. Now I don't know, but there are probably additional premium points for the title etc. Points are a little bit higher for round of 16 onwards, but the gap should take quite some time to be closed. I don't think this can happen within a single season, it will probably take longer than that.

Well this is a very big question especially in a league like the premier league, they have been very poor in a couple of months now, they have now lost 9 games in 12 matches in all competitions. One thing for sure in the premier league is that if you can go on 5-6 games winning streak  you will see yourself almost in the top four but can this Liverpool team go on a 5-6 games winning streak? Currently I don’t think so.

Arne slot have now been given a couple of matches by the board to see if they can continue with him or bring in a new coach, it just unbelievable to see that he was the man that brought them the league last season. The team is currently in a very bad state and for him to turn it around will be a vey big job. This weekend they travel to London as they face westham, let see if they can make a big statement there or it just same new Liverpool.

People's opinions would have been different if Bayern hadn't lost against Arsenal.
We must admit that Arsenal played very well in that match, and with this result, Arsenal maintained their positive streak. The question that is no longer a secret is whether Arteta has managed to maintain their consistency, which often becomes a serious obstacle in title runs at the end.

If Arteta can make Arsenal what they are now by the end of the season, lifting the trophy is not impossible.
We can see how the starting lineup compares to the players on the bench that Arteta then uses; the quality is equally good.

In terms of strength, Arsenal this season looks better than last season and even though some of their main players are injured it doesn't have a big impact on the team's performance, but regarding whether they will be able to maintain it until the end of the season or not, I don't think anyone can guarantee that, everything is still possible, but I think Arsenal's percentage of winning the title this season is bigger than last season.

Nothing guarantees how consistent a team, including Arsenal, will be. But we believe in Arteta with Arsenal to be successful this season.
Arsenal is focused on the match against Chelsea. It's tough but we're sure it can be handled well at Stamford Bridge.

With a difference of 6 points, I think Arsenal's results will not have much of an impact if Arsenal fail to get full points at Stamford Bridge. So, if Arsenal is able to win again at Stamford Bridge, then the opportunity to hope for a trophy at the end of the season is open provided that Arteta can overcome the squad's weaknesses if someone has to be sidelined due to injury.

How can we explain the current condition of Manchester City? They've failed in almost all category to bounce back on track and this is never the Manchester City. Pep Guardiola will bounce back to form, it's just matter of time before we can see the Greatness that exist in Etihad stadium. Pep Guardiola will always rotate his team because he want a situation where the center focus of the club is build around one player. This player is Erling Haaland and benching will always affect the standard formidable setting of the club. Painful to see Manchester City lost at Etihad stadium.

Guardiola has been changing his ways lately. He doesn't want the team to spend hundreds of million euros on single player anymore. Instead he is trying something new with bringing more different players.

Will this be the way he saves Manchester City from these inconsistencies? Hard to tell for now.  Sad  There are recent Vinicius Jr rumours regarding them too additionally. Would he really look for a replacement of Doku these days while he is performing really well?

I don't what is doing on with Liverpool at this point in time but there is something going on wrong with Liverpool. What is worrisome to me with the way Liverpool is even losing matches is that they are losing to small teams. Liverpool has conceided seven goals at home against teams that are less fancied, imagine a team like Nottenghen forest scoring three goals against Liverpool at home and now PSV scoring four this is an embarrassing situation for Liverpool the coach should do something about it or should be shown the exit door.
I just think that Arne Slot is confused, he probably don’t know what to do because it is not easy to sign players with more money than any other team among your circle and your players are performing badly, it’s unfair. So in as much as he has plays a vital role in this poor form due to his team selections and substitutions, the players also contribute to this because they all have individual brilliance that can function even without coach, so they are suppose to help the team instead of pushing the blame to the coach because he is not playing the game with them in the field.
However, I think Liverpool defense is now weak, Konate and VVD are not in their best anymore, they need to be replaced with immediate effect because they are part of the problem.
The only remedy Liverpool have got this season is to sack Arne Slot else their misery continues, how can I explain to none football fans that the English premier League title defendants is seated on the 12th place in the standings and not only that but a team that have spent more than enough founds in the transfer market, and they've got lots of star players in the team but it seems nothing is working out with them or should we say Louis Diaz Alexander Arnold & Co are the piller that was holding the Liverpool team? Because since their departure Liverpool has not been the same whilst these players are doing just fine in their new teams, something really have to be done.
Liverpool can still survive the season and make the champions league position, losing Louis Diaz was a wrong idea and a bad more, he complimented Muhammad Salah making the team a more divisified team, this days Salah lose form has shown because no other playersl could step up to the task. The Liverpool team need more good and effective players not sacking of choach

Arsenal is playing against Chelsea when they're a bit stable, coupled with their boosted morale from winning their Champions League victory encounter with Barcelona. Arsenal, too, on its side, has been the most stable team in England since the beginning of this season and would do everything possible not to entertain defeat at the hands of Chelsea. A preferred result for both teams is a draw.

It was Rodrygo, now Vinicius, you should know these are the stories that makes the internet bobbling. We have no direct contact made to players camp not even to the club,  take this seriously as speculations at the moment. Laughable final question. Doku is currently the best winger in the Premier League Competition,  goals take on and many more. He won't be dumped anytime soon. Competition is good but maybe not atm. Pep Guardiola seems to be more defensive after the introduction of Kolo Toure and the other pal and his staffs.

I also predict a draw, as both teams will undoubtedly try to play cautiously to avoid dropping points. Both teams are in good form after achieving satisfactory results in the Champions League, but I see the tension in the Premier League being very different. It's difficult to predict a big match like this, and if I were to place a bet, a draw would probably be my consideration, considering that both teams certainly won't waste an opportunity even if it means sharing a point and I think this match is quite interesting because it will produce a slightly tougher match.

Regardless of how badly Manchester City have performed this season, remember that there is a much worse Liverpool with the biggest spending but the worst results  Roll Eyes

As for what happened to Manchester City because Pep Guardiola ran out of strategy. Many changes actually made Haaland role seem to lose the portion to score goals. All of that is because his teammates on the front lines are too selfish. Relying on Doku alone is not enough because the opponent can close the left side, while the right side which is often filled by Rayan Cherki does not function properly. Not only that, but Manchester City midfield has become unstable. See Tijjani, Nico Gonzales, and Lewis, who should be in charge of supporting the attackers, often take the initiative to be ambitious to score goals.

If england clubs will be managed to enter semis again. They will obviously able to secure fifth place for the next season. All of their candidates are considerably safe atm. They're all will qualify for the next stage. They can count on Chelsea and Arsenal to at very least go to semis.
I don't think Germany or Italy have chances to take the lead. Yeah EPL clubs recent results quite disappointmen, but there are still plenties of chance to make it happen.

what the club is going through is normal , there are other club that have gone through the same phase in previous season. Sacking Arne slot won't be a wise decision, it looks like all what he did last season has been forgotten too soon. I believe Liverpool will go back to its normal form. So the best thing is to give the man time , to figure things out. Bring in a new manager may not solve the problem but rather it may worsen the situation here.
Firing Arne Slot was a hasty decision, and in my opinion, a very bad one. It would be better if the club management conducted a thorough evaluation to determine the real problems within Liverpool and why they continue to lose. Liverpool's total expenditure this season reached £415 million, and the results should be commensurate with the club's achievements. It would be unwise to immediately blame Arne Slot for this problem. After the arrival of Alexander Isak from Newcastle United, Liverpool's performance immediately declined. Liverpool must find an immediate solution. Slot should be given a season to prove himself.

The Chelsea vs. Arsenal game is nothing but going to end in a draw in my perspective.

Correct. Arsenal are in their best form and yesterday's victory in the Champions League adds strength to them when they visit Chelsea in the next few days.
Chelsea is also in good form. Five matches without defeat and finally being able to beat Barcelona with a score of 3-0 could be an extraordinary injection of enthusiasm in front of their own supporters at Stamford Bridge.

A draw is the most likely scenario to occur if I look at their head to head.
They often draw when their meetings take place at Stamford Bridge.

Yes truly Mohammed Salah has been off his game since the beginning of the season and I strongly feel it’s a psychological problem cause he’s physically fit there’s no issues there.

I don’t know if Liverpool players had a therapy session after the loss of Diogo Jota cause this is the same team that dominated EPL last season just a few new legs to strengthen the squad and everything has gone to shits.

M. Salah is expected to show leadership in the team both on field  and off field but he’s greatly lacking. The manager and Management takes the blame most times cos it’s their responsibility.

English premier league is one of the best league in the world now with a dominating performance in all competitions, Although few teams from the premier league had a terrible lost but with a dominating performance which stands as a hope of recovery in there next meeting know matter there opponents. Apart from in the champions league, the rest of the team in the Europa league did perfectly well winning all there games beyond reasonable doubt.
After looking at the statistical report posted above I was very impressed with there performance and I strongly believe they could be crowned king of the champions league or the europa league at the end of the season.

When a team is not performing well all the blames goes to the coach because he directs what happened before the players goes to the battle field, last season that Liverpool won the league every one was praising Arne Slot that he is the best man for the job just his first season in the English Premier league and he won the tittle so i wouldn't blame those that is accusing the coach for the team poor performance this season. Mohammed Salah can be bench if the coach sees that his form has drop he shouldn't use because Mo Salah is the rbr the key player in the team and can't be bench if he isn't doing well.
I think Liverpool problem now is worst than that of Manchester United, any team can win Liverpool even at Anfield.

Arsenal beating Bayern Munich will of course make them have a better morale there is no doubt about that, but it's not really a premier league game, is it? I mean they did not gain any points here, it's just morale and confidence and nothing more for them. Plus, because they are tired for playing against Bayern Munich level of team, the yare going to have hard time at the premier league games.

UCL is always great and everyone would want to win it, but it's always a risk too because it makes you questionable for the league games. And if you put it all on the line and lose, and then be tired and lose the league too, that's double dipping and terrible result. Arsenal should rest some of these players, they need it.

I think you’re saying this as a Chelsea fan, yes Chelsea won against Barcelona in the champions league but with the way Arsenal has been in the premier league I don’t think Chelsea can stop them.
There’s something that happens with some teams and their forms. Arsenal has been very consistent at the premier league and Chelsea though second hasn’t been as consistent. This will be a tightly contested game but Arsenal will come out victorious, a draw is also likely but a win for Arsenal is most likely.

what the club is going through is normal , there are other club that have gone through the same phase in previous season.
But this guy was given over 400m and he couldn't perform well. When he came last season the pressure on him wasn't that much because the fans felt that they only want to see how he will the team, which he did well . But now this season the pressure is different because the fans are now hungry for titles, that's why he was given money to buy player of choice. So every fault his on him, he can't even put the blame on the board or anyone. He might not survive this December if he keeps loosing.
