What they played yesterday was not bad and they have woken up to face the reality of life . It is a gradual process, they might play the final with Arsenal. But if they won the game yesterday it would have been better for them. One of the biggest problem they are facing in this season is the benching of Mohammed Salah. I don't know what the coach is doing. He has been using  the neew sign in to play and they are not doing well yet they are playing.

Well at first we all thought benching mo salah was maybe acceptable because they goals and assist were not coming for him anymore and also we all know how very poor mo salah is defensively, he barely tracks back and even even barely engage in helping the team mark but if he his getting the goals then who cares if he marks or not afterall what is expected from an attacker is to score not to mark.

Now the big problem for Slot is he is not even getting the results with Mohammed Salah on the bench, he his still struggling and it is now very obvious that salah is not even the problem. A good thing salah will be away for the Afcon and we will all see how he manages for the period of a month.

If salah ends up not playing much this season at Liverpool I think the Egyptian will end up leaving the the club by the end of the season. Well he have gave Liverpool everything and it very sad to see it coming to an end especially in this fashion but it football and at the end it all business.

I was not too surprised with the result because with this performance, even if Leeds won the match I won’t be surprised. A major overhaul of the current Liverpool team is needed. I even think Liverpool's management should sack Arne Slot. He doesn't seem capable of solving this problem. To prevent the team from sinking further, it would be better for the management to sack Arne Slot now.

The lack of consistency in Liverpool this season is starting to become a reality and the draw with Leeds is an ideal representation of their predicament. Going two goals up without being able to seal the deal is an indication of lapse in concentration and defensive discipline particularly on the dying stages of the game. Leeds can be credited with such mentality, as not many teams would combat back with such confidence with Liverpool. Meanwhile, Liverpool is not even where you would have thought it to be given that it was once a champion and unless they start winning, they may find it hard to even remain in the conversation of being in the top-four. Protecting leads is one of the criteria of big clubs and at the moment Liverpool are not doing it right.

The problem is Liverpool tried replacing some of last season title winning players with some new expensive players there by messing up the whole team, and now I have seen they are trying to sign more players.

It looks like the Liverpool management are going to have to sack Arne Slot at one point after spending a lot of money in signings with no positive results. I don't see them winning any silverware this time round.

If the result is like this, management should evaluate Arne Slot because I see that it is difficult for the players to recover because in almost all matches, Liverpool's game is much more depressed than pressing the opponent. But why is it that once a player starts loosing form obviously, instead of working on himself to build back the fan's trust, he would start a blackmailing game? I agree. Liverpool really needs to find a way to get Salah back to his best and fully reintegrated into the team. Otherwise this season will be a tough one for them. Ever since Lluis diaz left they’ve been struggling to create chances on fast breaks.

Yeah Salah is really unhappy with the situation now. It is normal of course. You are cutting your most special player from the starting lineup 2 times in a row. Like the team play amazing without him.

He just believes that his relationship with Arne Slot is completely broken now. Therefore probably we won't see him in the lineup of next league game as well. Before anything else, how much longer will Arne Slot be given chances?

We have been witnessing a poor performance play from Liverpool throughout this season and to me to an extent, I always feel if they can solve this problem, as this problem as been lingering for a while now. Last season the team didn't purchase any player as they do this season, with the whole lots of money wasted and with the result they are producing, we can see that it is not encouraging in any way, it is only a wast as I may put it. All the expensive players they recruited, are not performing the way as expected and we have seen the team lacking behind. To me it is quite embarrassing and I never expected this draw. I left as it was 2 lead already, but coming back to see the draw of 3-3 I felt embarrassed.

As defending champions, Liverpool's performance has been very poor this season, even though last season they played with intensity and high pressing, which led to their title victory. This season, Liverpool's game seems to have lost its identity. With this kind of performance, it's not just about one or two players performing poorly. It's about a fractured structure, a loss of rhythm, and a collapse in confidence. Liverpool aren't just unconvincing right now; they look like a team that lacks confidence. Liverpool is just been ungrateful to M.Salah, last season they own the league is not a matter of Sadio mane absent, he played well last year, we should also understand that he last his closet friend Jota before the beginning of the league which affected the full team entirely. I think M salah is not just okay either the players that the coach brought into the club this season, they are not blending to M salah style of play, and none on them are performing well. So many things has happened to Liverpool lately Mo Salah is not only affect by the exit of Mane or the death of Diogo Jota, i also believe that the exit of their formal coach jurgen klopp has also affected the club and also the players. You can't expect Mo salah to perform well when the club is not in a good form if Mo salah was scoring as before Liverpool wouldn't have been in this situation.

It's true that Mo salah has helped to club wins titles in the past even last season they won premier league title but if the club see that he is not performing well again and there is another option he can be bench it's normal for a player to loss form, he will still come back if he works on him self and take back his position in the club.

Perhaps Arne Slot is not able to adapt himself well to the strategy of Salah. Or Slot is not paying enough attention to Salah. Slot will have to find out Salah's problems. If Salah's performance does not improve, Liverpool's attack is unlikely to be strong.

Liverpool are currently going through a hard time, which Slot needs to find a solution for, because I don’t think the management are going to give him much time, as they might sack him in no time to avoid further damage to the team. Currently, Liverpool are facing serious challenges, and I think if they eventually finalize the sack of Slot, maybe the new manager they bring in will restore Liverpool’s performance to normal. Nevertheless, there is still a bit of time for them to come back into the race so that they can finish the season at the top and secure a chance in the Champions League.

I'm thinking he's not only becoming average player. To be honest, he's also losing his professionality. Just because he gets benched for three times in a row, and he's whinning like a 17 years old kid. If he's not satisfied enough with the way Slot treat him. He has to go.
I don't even think he gets a special treatment compared to the other players just because he had won them so many trophies. At this point if he still acts like whinning kid, he has to go.

Sometimes he has to accept if he's poor enough and deserves no place in the main squad.

I agree with you, Mohamed Salah's performance has declined drastically this season, and his goals have been very few, even though he hasn't suffered any injuries and is almost always a starter. During the Jürgen Klopp era, Mohamed Salah's performance was extraordinary because Jürgen Klopp gave him freedom, and his attacks always relied on him. However, Arne Slot prefers a midfield attack, making this strategy less suited to Mohamed Salah's performance. Therefore, Arne Slot must immediately find a solution, not only to improve Mohamed Salah's potential to continue scoring goals, but also to Liverpool's overall performance problems.

His finishing has been very sloppy lately and he can't get into many attacking actions per match like he used to.
There is serious burnout and mental fatigue. He is far from his old performance and expecting him to regain that form again would be a luxury for Liverpool.

Salah statement is very greedy and selfish of him, I didn’t expect Salah to make this kind of statement, Salah seems to only care about himself, while all this have been going on and happening in the club he has never been out to the media to make an encouragement statement to the fans, and right now he is coming out to say this horrible words like he is a baby, what happens in the dressing room should remain in the dressing room, Van Dijk have been vocal about the situation and asking the fans to keep believing and supporting them, what I expected from Salah is to keep supporting the team when he isn’t playing, right now he isn’t playing very well and he needs to find his forms, all the players in the attack have all been kept on the bench.

Well I don’t know what promises have been made to him by the club, but he has to grow up and stop acting like a baby, and find his form back, his been horrible since signing the contract in march and he has to work on his performance if he wants to keep playing for Liverpool or the club should selll him in January so everyone can have some peace, players come and go and no player is bigger than a club. This is Liverpool and we only support what is best for our club, and Salah should understand that age is no longer on his side anymore, and if he wants to play more he should find his forms once again and start scoring goals.

Salah is not in his former form, so it's perfectly understandable that he'd want to join another team. The team's poor performance could also be a factor in Salah's decision.

I think he has recently signed a new contract with Liverpool maybe he could go beyond 2024/2025 season. He is in form in the season he has been doing greatly he has scored about 32 goals this season out of about 45 games played in all competitions this season. In premier league alone he has been able to score 27 goals  so if you ask me he is doing absolutely well. Although his injury has been a major concern for Liverpool because it affects the team differently if he is not fit and not featured on the game.

Of course, this is the obvious truth. Salah had one of his best years of his career last season. But now he is far from that look which is still not odd to me though. Because he is 33 so not young anymore.

We can't expect a big consistency from him at this age. Not every player can keep that level after 30 years old. The ones who can do so are limited in number.

Salah is still a Liverpool legend, that's for certain! But I think it's time for him to look for his other options.

Leeds United was really prepared for the game against Liverpool I guess hence the reason they stood so strong to a 3:3 draw with Liverpool. I almost wanted to give up on the game when Liverpool was already leading with 2:0 against Leeds United but it was quite impressive how Leeds was able to come up and bounce back and not backing down even it seemed like they defeated already

The draw against Liverpool has helped Leeds United to move up to 16th on the table with about 15points from about 15points
