If you look at the current condition of both teams, then Man United does not have a big chance to win, and I think it is even quite difficult for Man United to just get a draw. Man United's biggest problem is in the back line, so as long as De Ligt and Maguire are still injured, Man United's back line will remain in disarray. Relying on 2 young players to be starters is a risk, and that is what happened when Man United played Ayden Heaven and Leny Yoro together. They can sometimes play well, but that doesn't rule out the fact that they don't have a lot of experience, and it's very likely that their morale could collapse at any time when they face such great pressure.

Now, Man United has another problem, as their midfield is also experiencing a crisis. Bruno Fernandes, who has always been a key player, is currently injured, and I think this will affect Man United's performance on the pitch because Man United has been quite dependent on Bruno.

I have been expecting an exciting match between Manchester United and Newcastle United but due to injury of Bruno Fernandes, now it's clearly going to be favourable for Newcastle United because they are having few advantages and these are going to be helpful for them for sure.

There are more discussion about Manchester United, due to their poor performance and many other issues but in last few games, they are having good improvement. This is indicating that Ruben Amorim is doing good work, and they have good chance of staying into good position after few worst seasons, but injuries are always created serious trouble as of now suddenly happen to them.

Three big games are going to be played in this 18th round, first Manchester United vs Newcastle United after this, Chelsea vs Aston Villa and then crystal palace going to host Tottenham. Second half is going to start and things are going to be challenging for all clubs as they are looking for better results than first half.

I’m not really sure that Man United will struggle just to get a draw, even though several key players are absent from this match. The players’ mentality when playing at home is much stronger, and that’s what could make this game end in a draw. The match has already started, and if we look at the game so far, it’s very clear that Man United still have plenty of chances, either to secure a draw or even go for a win.

I think there's an high chance of struggling for them getting either a win or a draw. Their attack is often shaky and now key attacking prowess, Mbeumo and Amad won't be available  definitely this will make them making use of their chances more difficult, hopefully they defend properly to avoid mistakes that would be capitalise greatly by Newcastle.

Benjamin Sesko is still not in his best and this is another difficulty, although through the absence of these players he may be able to make the difference if he can withstand the pressure that comes even more with this.

So far it been a very brilliant first half from Manchester United, well we are still in the 35th minute and they are already ahead, a goal from Patrick dorgu. In this game I expected both teams to score as they have been a lot of chances from both side, it been very entertaining game so far and I would say much goals is very much expected in this game.

Newcastle started with the same line up they used against Chelsea but just that today they have not been able to create and convert that much chances they did against Chelsea. I would be very disappointed if they leave old trafford today without scoring a goals.

As always Boxing Day never disappoint, especially when it fixtures like this. Let see how the first half will end and how big of a performance we will see from both side in the second half.

Last year Manchester United lost 2–0 at home to Newcastle. Today United will be without Bruno Fernandes, Mbeumo, and Diallo. These are big losses for Manchester United’s attack. Newcastle are doing fine going forward, but they have problems in defense — Burn, Livramento, and Trippier are all out for this match. I think the team that scores the first goal will win this game. 

Considering the last games we saw from United, they really need a win and should not be considering how it's going to go down, I really do not think it is going to be a very big problem and not sure what will be changed. Reality is that we are going to face something that would be a bit different and for that reason there are cases where it is going to change their future depending on this game.

I understand that they have a lot of good players missing and there is a big chance that they will lose this game because of the missing players, but that doesn't mean that we are going to see them lose just because of it, if they do play right then Newcastle isn't a great team and United still has a small chance they can win and they really need it.

Good goal from the defender Dorgu, he has helped the team to have advantage over Newcastle United to take the lead because Newcastle United is playing better than Manchester United based on ball possession, but this one goal has boost the players to play well and have the three points which is the must important thing to get out of the match, but if Manchester United didn’t make more effort in the second half, Newcastle United will do their best to level up early so that they make attempt of winning the match, but I don’t think they will get it easily.

yes no Manchester United fan we be confident of them winning this match with just this one goal in the first half, I'm sure Newcastle united will score back because Manchester United don't have a strong defense. Just like you said for Manchester United fans to have the confidence that they will win this match they need to score again and again to make it 3:0 but I don't see that happening in this match.
It is Manchester United home and I believe they will try or do everything possible to make sure that they secure a win in today's match, I wish them good luck, they need to make their fans happy today

Really a good goal and never expected him to score at all especially such a good goal. Man Utd currently plays better then Newcastle and looks like they will win. Newcastle currently didnt create any chances and Man Utd pretty well closed them off. Still i expect Newcastle to go all out in the second half to try and put presure on Man Utd.

Man Utd in the second half almost always concede a goal at least so i think it might happen again if Newcastle puts presure on them.

Not that the Newcastle United's side where unable to convert chances but because Manchester united have strengthened there defensive technique which enables them withstand there opponents attacking force on the game. Apart from the goal i can see the united sides are playing with full confidence and knowledge that we can not even imagine and are relentlessly pushing for more goals in the game.
With the United's performance now i am confused and don't know what to say about united side  As the will appear strong today and weak tomorrow, what the cause is is what i don't even know

It's match day live and as we speak, United has been able to find the net already... It's good that they've realized they need to score in time for every match, since it's always difficult to equalize when the goals are much on the score sheets. I'm impressed by what I saw and how they calculated the risk of every move to that made that goal count. If they can keep their guards up and protect every spaces in the pitch, this 3 points may count for a new position on the table.
I had doubts of what their performances would look like for this match; although one goal from their opponent can possibly match my doubts, they're 1 point ahead. Well let's watch what happens after this!

We are currently in the second half of the match, and Manchester United are currently leading in the match, they were able to score a goal in the first half of the match. Dorgu had a good strike which he was able to convert that into a goal which makes Manchester United to be leading Newcastle.

The two teams performed well in the first half of the match, but Newcastle couldn’t convert all the chances which they had into goal in the match, let’s see what they are going to do in the second half of the match. Manchester United also had chances in the first half of the match, but they were able to convert only one into goal. Let’s see if Manchester United will be able to maintain their current goal lead till ending of the match, but the pressure on Manchester United is much, if they are not careful they might end up conceding in the match.

I still believe Newcastle has a great chance of equalising this goal . However, Manchester United are doing there best to secure this three points and with the way the match is going they maybe able to maintain there ground till the 90 minutes is over. Although, we can rule out the possibility of draw, Newcastle are still fighting hard with all they have to make sure they equalise this goal. That’s the logic behind the football the teams we don’t expect to be doing better against the strong team are the ones always gotten a positive result. Let look at Manchester United and Newcastle, I know that a lot of people predict that Manchester united are going to find the game difficult with how their performance goes in most of their previous matches; but they’ve prove them wrong that their still doing well despite the fact that they still managing the 7th place in the table. I don’t think this your prediction to a draw will works anymore as i don’t see any sign from Newcastle to equalize back, Man United will try all by all means to make sure they secure this three points in order for them to advance to the 6th place in the table.

Yes, Newcastle are finding it hard to create good chances. All the chances they have created are off target. Manchester United are not being given that many chances, but honestly, even Newcastle are playing better ball, it’s just that Manchester United are more wellcoordinated than Newcastle. If Manchester United’s marking can be this tight until the end of the game, it will be very hard for Newcastle to equalize. But seriously, I am afraid of Newcastle with this one goal that Manchester United are leading with. Newcastle are a team that always score a goal in the last minute. The only way that Manchester United will not receive more pressure is for them to add one more goal.

The surprise thing is that Chelsea is now targeting Vitor Roque like what the hell is wrong with them? Don't they have a lot of strikers? So why a new striker? This is the reason why Maresca is getting upset with their management. They have done too many unnecessary signings. I know their main intention to develop young and cheap players. However, it's not what they must be doing.
Despite develop the young lads, they have also develop a winning club to ensure they can win any trophy, then it will pump the price of their players. Based on that I'm starting to think how their management is brainless. They don't sign needed player, but waste money for terrible signings.

Recently as changes going on in Chelsea, it's miserable because they have good start in all competitions but now slipping, this is due to poor strategy and players are underperforming but Maresca needs to be on solid and good strategy because now it's important for him to manage on level.

If they are going to have policy of bringing youngsters and then after development selling them on high prices this could be also need some strong policy because without doing their homework, they would not be able to have good profit from this. If they want to win anything big, defense is not good and this is a problem in last few games, otherwise their season is going to be ruined.
