Crystal Palace is playing nice today against Fulham, leading them 1:0 in the first half, now in the second half, no much changes, it appears to be a game that'll end in 1:0 but fulham is currently pressing hard on Palace, yet they've been a little bit unlucky.

Crystal Palace's defense gave way, Fulham scored the equalizing goal, and the game ended. With this draw, the positions of both teams didn't change much; they are close to each other.


I don't want to be too pessimistic, but it seems to me that the next coach to be fired could be the Liverpool coach, this result:



It's a terrible result, because the game wasn't against a strong opponent; on the contrary, it was against an accessible opponent that we could have beaten and gained 3 points, bringing us closer to Aston Villa. But we lost points in a game that we honestly dominated, and the players had no idea how to score. Even Leeds scored a goal, but it was disallowed. Liverpool isn't doing well, and the signings from the last transfer window weren't much help.

I think it is high time for them to sack the Liverpool coach his the problem of Liverpool the reason why he's still in Liverpool till now is was because of last season victory he was the coach when Liverpool lift the premier league title last season, but it was what the former coach has put in place that he used to win that trophy. His problem is that he's not good at making good friends with his players, look at the problem his having with Mohamed Salah a key player for Liverpool, I just believe after this season they will sack this coach and replace him with another one.

Definitely we can see the underperformance of Liverpool this season. This game was the one I was never expecting a draw as Liverpool also have that advantage as they are even playing at home, which is a more advantage for them to take the lead no matter what the case may be. Liverpool never show a sign of them winning this game, despite for them having 19 shots, 4 shots on target and 1 big chances created. This was very poor to say, as the entire team created just one chance, to me it was embarrassing as I watch them played. Well that is how it is and this is how football tends to be, it will never go the way as expected.

I am not surprised by that result; Arsenal played much more aggressively with the revenge they had, which made them play much more determinedly, and in terms of overall quality, Arsenal is better compared to Aston Villa. That has to be acknowledged, so I think Arsenal's big win is natural.

Aston Villa has indeed made surprises this season; they were unbeaten in their last 11 matches before facing Arsenal, but it should be remembered that the Premier League always presents fierce competition, and now Aston Villa is experiencing that.

In this season, Arsenal doing much better than last three seasons because they are having strong title chance, and they are not giving any space to have any challenge against them, in upcoming rounds, this is going to be a big advantage for winning with good score, their attack and defense both are well-balanced.

At the top, now two teams are having good control while Manchester City is going to Stadium of Light for their 19th round game, this will give them chance to cut the difference of points and have good space from Aston Villa while Liverpool hosting Leeds United, this is also important game for them after having few good results in last weeks, this will allow them to have chance of staying with Aston Villa for third spot.

To me I just think Arsenal just get to realize that Aston Villa was among the teams that deprived them the league title last season so they got to be more serious this time, because if they had mistakenly drop a single point in that game then we could have given up on them total because Pep Guardiola would do everything possible to climb the league table and if they do I won't be easy to bring them down so this winning from them somehow boost up our confidence and our hope of winning the league still stand, but the only thing I will be of them is to keep consistent.

With the games yet to be played even though Manchester City climbed top of the league today i don't think they can remain there till the end of the season and i don't also think that Arsenal will remain top of the league before two months time. Arsenal knew that they will be in deep pressure if they had draw or lost against Aston Villa, i like Arsenal courage they are very determined to win the league tittle this season but the end of the season will determine who wins the English Premier league tittle i know that the trophy is just between Arsenal and Manchester City.

It would have been better to avoid betting today because the teams played far below their usual strength and that made everywhere littered with draws, something we rarely see happen in the English Premiership.  It will take someone who says double chance today to win because there are no winnings, even from almighty Manchester City.  Four matched played in the Premiership and all ended in a draw, this is not funny.

Adding to the stats, Liverpool had 6 offsides in this game, which signifies lack of coordination between attackers, they're not like them anymore, whatever must have made Sallah to be sad about Arne slot destroying all of Klopp's efforts building the team, was quite real, he wasn't seeing himself in the same team he used to be in the past seasons. Liverpool has gone west in their performance, I stopped watching the whole crapola in their 70 minutes of play, nothing was fantastic about the game, Liverpool didn't pull one string of fan's expectations - annoying.

We started 2026 without scoring a goal. There were no goals in the Leeds and Liverpool matches. There were also no goals in the Manchester City and Sunderland matches. All these results are great for Arsenal. Leeds defended well, and Liverpool had some unlucky chances. They are currently fourth in the league, unbeaten in six games at least.

If they continue to drop points like this, it could become impossible for them to catch up with Manchester City and Arsenal again. Absolute wins are needed in matches like these.

I can't believe all the matches ended as stalemates, moreover low scoring ones. I guess this is a good day for punters who go for full-time result as a draw and those that prefer to better Under 2.5
With that, there is a small breathing space for Arsenal at the top of the table and they definitely can not afford to slip up right now.

Manchester city are not ready to be at the top, not being able to beart Sunderland clearly shows that they are not going to be able to win Arsenal. It is foolish to bet on chelsea and manchester united matches. The performance of both these teams is very erratic. It is impossible to predict with certainty which match they will play better.

Chelsea played against bournemouth at home. Considering the home match, they should have won. The performance of Chelsea's attacking players was quite good. They were able to create many  attacking opportunities. But there was some weakness in finishing. Anyway, Chelsea's defense was shaky. If the defenders had played better , chelsea could have won the match. Chelsea has  conceded 6 goals in the last 3 matches of the Premier League. Chelsea's performance  will not be stable unless the defense is stronger.

Even as a United fan (who's seen some improvement this season), I have to agree. Both teams currently have 30 points, which is simply ridiculous after 19 rounds. I am surprised that with such a number of points these two teams are (for now) in the European Cup zone and in fact not that far from the Champions League zone. The last round is a complete crime. How can United give a point in a home game to a team that's in last place and has only two points before this game? Chelsea vs. Bournemouth (15th place) is the same.

Those teams are such a mess I can't even really tell which is better between those teams, the one that surprise me the most is Chelsea on how they have dropped form so bad like they started the English premier League looking like Mufasa in Lion King now they look like a baby Simba, like they are both just too hilarious, for Manchester United I think their problem is the manager like Manchester United actually needs a manager that is more than Ruben Amorim, like he's really got nothing to offer to the Manchester United team, the earlier the management know this the better for the entire team.

You should not even be surprised with the drop of form of Chelsea this season because for quite some time that is the way of Chelsea. Even after Chelsea signed plenty of players, i didn't expect Chelsea to do well and contest for the premier league title this season, and from the way Chelsea are currently performing, it seems i am right. And for Manchester United, i do not think manager is the problem of Manchester United because Manchester United have been changing coaches, and they haven't gotten what they are looking for.

Indeed we can all say it again as today is never a good day for any of the premier league team that play today, as a win neither a draw was not recorded from any side, this is shocking though as this kind of situation as lingered before is happening today. It has been a long time for us to witness a result as such. Liverpool couldn't find a win despite playing at home, tottenham didn't get any single goal as well, even Manchester City that I put my hopes on that even though they didn't have a win at least they can be able to score a single goal, but they played goalless with the black cats. This is quite embarrassing though, as I was never expecting such a result.

Today was not a good day to watch the Premier League. Crystal Palace and Fulham drew 1-1. The other 3 matches ended 0-0. It's a good thing I didn't watch the games, I just checked the scores occasionally. I didn't miss anything. I guess it was the worst New Year's Day for the Premier League. The players probably overdid the New Year's celebrations and couldn't concentrate on the game. Manchester City and Liverpool suffered significant point losses with these draws. It was a good day for Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Arsenal fans must be feeling over the moon right now because their wish for Manchester city has materialized. Seeing Manchester city drop points today against Sunderland must have made their day. Manchester city disappointed me I didn't expect this result from them, but it's fine at some point so today is city's own and tomorrow might be Arsenal turn. Sunderland is very strong at home that's a fact everyone is quite aware of by now. Although I wanted city to win to close the gap on Arsenal but unfortunately it didn't go that way.

If this was some lower league it was going to be easy to claim these were fixed matches but for a top tier league like the EPL.. this is total BS.. Anyway big result of Sunday who looked like the more dangerous team whenever the counter attacked and City.. well these look like they were Hangovered such that they couldn't run or make any crosses.. I think this was the worst City game I have watched

I would have said, England has done a good round, to have every fan make the best of the new year. Not a bad one those playing today but certainly, not a good one for gamblers. The draw market is less patronized and the fixtures were definitely those that were deserving of a win, Manchester City and Liverpool maybe.
Spurs and Brentford draw was possible and so was Crystal Palace and Fulham, both teams are in good form.

Liverpool players made only few shots on target, yet they had many opportunities to score. The stats don't count shots that could be a goal if it was more focused or the others that passed not far from the net...

both Manchester city and Liverpool failed by giving Arsenal a good chance.

And Chelsea and Manchester United too. If you look on the first seven teams, you will see that all got a draw except gunners that won against Aston Villa.
Arsenal is the team that profited the most from that round. They extended their lead and secured 4 points difference so a safe zone in case they slipped in a random game.

Liverpool is not OK and that's obvious from the start of the season. Manchester City is trying their best to recover to their usual form but they failed to achieve that. Although they won comfortably against Sunderland previously, they didn't manage to break the defence line and score. They lacked the final touch. Same goes for Liverpool.
