Aston Villa 2 - 0 Nottingham Forest and the game is still in the beginning of the second half.
The match is pretty much one sided. Aston Villa is dominating the game while Nottingham Forest players aren't that concentrating. In the second goal there was at least like 3 mistakes done by the midfielders and defenders. How easy missing the ball by these players is impressive..
Even the attacks of Nottingham Forest are pretty much easy to waste or to stop. I believe Aston Villa could add another goal if they want.

I recovered with today's bet by restoring confidence to Aston Villa, of course I'm realistic Arsenal are potentially stronger than Nottingham Forest.

Aston Villa will go into the match as favourites against Nottingham Forest and they will probably win and replace Man City in point table. It was expected that they might draw with Arsenal in the last match but it did not happen. If Aston villa wins today, it will not be good news for Man City because they will drop from second position to third. Sunderland were very determined and drew with Man City in the previous match. They are considered unbeaten at home because they have not lost in the last 10 matches. They have either drawn or won. Sunderland's defensive position was so strong that despite having 67 percent of the ball in their possession, they were able to put only 4 of 14 shots on target. Guardiola however predicted before the match that it would not be easy for them to win the match because the opponent is strong at home. In the end of that match it was proven by the draw.

Unfortunately, Manchester City still doesn't have the cohesive and strong squad they had a few years ago when they were winning the Premier League consecutively, while Aston Villa has a strong and cohesive squad that plays well and even when they are struggling and the coach makes a substitution, the team's course changes and they reverse the negative result. In my opinion, Aston Villa deserves to finish second or even first if Arsenal's performance declines. I only see Arsenal and Aston Villa as the best teams currently in the Premier League.

A terrible result for Forest. They were on par with Villa last season, but everything changed just after Marinakis sacked Nuno. Marinakis has to be the greatest problem owned by the club.

Talking about their game, they looked so terrible. They made lots of goal attempts, but have garbage accuracy. They changed managers, but not even a minor improvement showed. At this point, i only think they compete just to stay up. Edu and Marinakis have to take the blame as they destroyed the club with their stupidity.

Apart from that the more lose against Westham will make Sean Dyche is getting even closer to be sacked by Marinakis. Don't be surprised if ann about Sean to be sacked by Forest will come most probably next week.

Is not who is the boss, I think is more of football having a way of humbling teams, although Aston villa is far better if we ro compare both teams all round performance for this season, the good thing is that, Aston villa is seriously in the race, they lost last week and get strong immediately, this is a very good example of a team thats ready to make much difference, I so much believe that they are regretting the helpless position they found themselves last week by allowing arsenal to win them so such disgraceful manner, am very happy for them in risk, although I also bet them to win, which the delivered.

The match was a kind of tough in the first half were the score line was 0:0. Aston villa this season is really going to finish among the top four positions in the league table.
It will help them alot if they can be able to secured there players from moving to other clubs during this window transfer. If they can be able to secure there key players then they will definitely make it to the champions League.

I never thought of seeing Wolves scoring first without conceding a single goal, 2nil lead says a lot and if they manage to keep the tempor going I believe they might be celebrating their first win today and this is their first game of 2026. Things I never expected from Wolves happened, they are playing without fear and the errors we saw they making as of the whole of last year non showed up today, like what is happening to these guys today? Honestly anything the manager of Wolves told the players or whatever he gave them I think he should continue because they are doing a good job by holding this lead against West Ham, the second half should have a lot of actions, can't wait and kudos to Wolves.

They achieved their first victory after a long period of losses and draws. Wolverhampton led the match with a temporary victory, and I think that with the remaining time available, they will win even though West Ham United may be able to reduce the deficit.

If West Ham United officially loses to Wolverhampton, I would say that Nuno Espirito Santo is the worst coach, but there are still teams interested in him.
West Ham United's lineup, I think, is not lacking. If Nuno E Santo is good, he knows what to do with the West Ham squad. Could this be Nuno's last match as coach? If West Ham doesn't take action, West Ham must be prepared for relegation.

Thursday's games were nothing short of disappointing.
4 games, 4 draws, 3 of them were goalless. The only goals we've seen were in Crystal Palace Vs Fulham (1-1).

Today's round is already much better. After getting beaten by Arsenal, Aston Villa showed their morale is still high and they're not stopping in their campaign to stay in the top. They beat Notm Forest 3-1 and are now occupying the 2nd place, at least until tomorrow, when Man City is facing Chelsea.

The lost points against Sunderland on Thursday could be very costly to Man City. They are now 4 points behind Arsenal, which may not sound like a lot, but Arsenal rarely makes mistakes, so catching up with them won't be easy.

Wolves are finally getting what they earned so far. That's what's happening right now. We once again understand that goal expectations stats don't always reflect the truth.

According to those stats Aston Villa and Wolves should have collected similar amount of points until this week. But Wolves wasted so much and Aston Villa did more than expected most of the time...

This win would give Wolves players some more confidence at least.

After Aston villa's big defeat against arsenal, many thought  that the team had started to decline. Now, it is likely that they will lose points in several matches and fall behind in the title race. But that did not happen. Aston Villa learned from their mistakes and won against Nottingham forest with an excellent performance.

Aston villa did not  attack too much. But, each of their attacks was very planned. Villa's players controlled the match with 74 % ball possession. This is why Nottingham forest was not able to dominate the match. Villa got a great 3-1 win . Hopefully, Aston villa will continue their streak against Crystal palace in the next match.

Nottingham forest after finishing 7th last season is not having good time this season. The club is just above relegation zone and 3-1 defeat against Aston Villa was very much on cards. Man City now at number 3rd spot on points table with one game to complete week 20, the next game of Man City is against Chelsea and they need to win that game if they want to retain their second position on points table. Chelsea in need of victory as they have won only one game in their last fiver encounters.

Damn them. It turns out their recovery period coincided with the game against United, when they picked up their third (lol) point in the league. And now they have six points. If they really want to fight for a place in the Premier League, it will be interesting – they're a whole 12 points away from a safe spot, and those teams will be trying too. There are probably some crazy people betting big money on the Polymarket that Wolves will stay in the Premier League, but in reality this could just be a temporary stroke of luck. After all, 6 points after 20 rounds is still abnormally low.

I didn't think Aston Villa would show any decline against Forest today truthfully. Because Forest are not even close to them which we saw it clearly also in this match. It was an easy 3-1 win. 

Have you noticed that McGinn has been playing in a quite different position and role since Emery came? He is normally a CM but he is playing as RM or RW lately. He scored 2 goals today though. It really works!
