Wolves are finally getting what they earned so far. That's what's happening right now. We once again understand that goal expectations stats don't always reflect the truth.

According to those stats Aston Villa and Wolves should have collected similar amount of points until this week. But Wolves wasted so much and Aston Villa did more than expected most of the time...

This win would give Wolves players some more confidence at least.  

Wolves got their first win of the season and a cleansheet but I  think they both teams are relegating and going through comments on BBC sport, both fans are accepting this fate already.

West Ham couldn't do anything even after conceding all three goals on the first half, they still ended with no shots on target, really poor performance from them.

Arteta has made the Arsenal squad to get used to playing without a striker and even as they have one that is huge and tall they find it hard to make the player look important, like Viktor Gyökeres is not as important to the team. Get the ball to him when they have the opportunity to and he can fight his way through, is still a surprise to me to see how they play the ball more often to Jesus when he comes in but never try that for the former sporting player. In this game against Bournemouth I saw so many ways of Viktor Gyökeres gett the ball to face the goalpost but they choose to ignore him, that act alone kills the morale of the striker and it shouldn't be only penalty kick that he will use to get his goals.

They learnt quickly from the mistakes against Arsenal and have recovered quickly from it, some team would lost their confidence after a terrible defeat but it's seems Aston Villa players got a target and are ready to ensure they meet up with it. Nottingham Forest is a tough underdog to play against but Aston Villa just showed them who's boss.

 Aston Villa has been in good form this season but they ought to ensure they secure their players from other big clubs in this window especially the likes of Watkins and Rogers. Those are two of their best players and have big roles to play concerning Aston Villa playing in the Champions League next season.

Is not who is the boss, I think is more of football having a way of humbling teams, although Aston villa is far better if we ro compare both teams all round performance for this season, the good thing is that, Aston villa is seriously in the race, they lost last week and get strong immediately, this is a very good example of a team thats ready to make much difference, I so much believe that they are regretting the helpless position they found themselves last week by allowing arsenal to win them so such disgraceful manner, am very happy for them in risk, although I also bet them to win, which the delivered.

Aston Villa players are really ready for this title, but will take a whole lot of consistency for the other teams that are the top first 5 teams on the table to stop them,just the way Arsenal did and even with that defeat they refused to lose their confidence they know they need to win remaining games if they want to keep the title hope alive and they are currently doing that,  that's impressive I am not their fan but I need to commend them for this honestly and for Manchester City they are currently 3rd on the table If they don't win Chelsea tomorrow then I don't think they may have the chance to retain their position on the table and even advance to winning the title

Aston Villa are now really showing that fighting spirit to remain a top four club despite the hiccup with Arsenal last gameweek, and right now from what am seeing they are in really good form which should see them going for that 1 or 2 placing as City aren't convincing if you ask me, otherwise so far so good . My prediction was accurate because I know that Aston Villa  will win this game and they are definitely went hard on Nottingham forest, and they were not even given them any breathing space and the pressure that Aston Villa are given was much and they could no longer stand the heat and it is good that they are trying to maintain a very good position on the table, and Aston Villa have cause a lot of clubs a lot of problems but there winning against Aston Villa was expected because of how poor Nottingham have been performing, and Arsenal playing 2:1 against Bournemouth we hopefully expect arsenal to win this game we can not afford to lose any of this games now. For the first time, Wolves won their first match in the English Premier League after 20 rounds in the English Premier League, a perfect 3-0 victory over West Ham without reply. This is the only thing to be proud of, even though they are still far from escaping the relegation zone, at least they are not completely embarrassed without a win this season. In fact, looking at their previous matches, specifically against Manchester United and Liverpool, they have shown their potential for change, and West Ham became the place for their victory. A really big disappointment the Liverpool - Leeds match was. How wasn't there even one goal by the final whistle? It wasn't even one of those matches with low number of goal attempts either.

xG isn't everything. We see this quite often but it at least gives us some idea about the productivity of that team. Liverpool had 2.08 goal expectation but nothing came out of it. The best they can do looks like to finish as 4th or 3rd maybe depending on Aston Villa.

Liverpool football team played last match against Leeds United football team and that was not not one sided game because no person could do any goal in this match till end. But shots of Liverpool football team were more in this match and these were 16 and 3 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was 66 percent in this match because they tried to hold the football for more time and their defense system was strong in this match and opponent team could not do any goal in this match. Watkin is a player worth keeping Aston Villa, so I don’t see him getting purged out in this transfer window open. Their performance in this game have clearly shown that their hopes for the top table has not faded yet and will do everything to make sure that they finish in at least top four in the premier league. Their playing style is very impressive that one can support them fully and not get disappointed for the victory as always.

Congratulations to Wolves for their first win of the season. This is really a remarkable one from them worth commending them for. I still don’t see that it is till late for them to finish above the relegation zone, they just need the right energy and effort channeled into this game henceforth to finish in a very good position. West Ham would be shocked to have been defeated by a team at the bottom of the table with a clean sheet.

Yes it will definitely give them some more confidence, but don't you think it's already too late? Like the point difference are too much for them to escape relegation, they are 12 points behind Nottingham Forest which is in the 16th place in the English premier League standings so do they think Nottingham Forest will keep losing while they keep winning? It's never possible, so this win is not really that necessary, they can keep winning to maybe cheer up their fans but the thoughts of escaping relegation should just go out of their mind because they are never gonna make it.

Arsenal seems to be having marching strong this season as they have not been fumbling like other seasons because, Arsenal is one team that don't last too long ontop of the table especially crossing over to the new year. Arsenal conceded the first goal because of a really, really simple mistake. Gabriel made a big mistake, it was like a Christmas gift to Bournemouth honestly. But Arsenal played well and they knew how to come back and win the match at the end. I am also very happy because Gabriel scored the draw goal. He made a mistake but then he fixed it. It was great.

It wasn't an easy match for them all through, coming from behind to lead and finally win. Bournemouth was strong and full of power, just like Sunderland against Manchester city few nights ago, they didn't give Arsenal a breathing space, after scoring there second goal, they even appeared more stronger, but at least, Arsenal were able to hold on and calm the game to the end. Indeed, they are showing signs of been champions like you said, but then again, the journey is still very far, so many games to be played. Surprisingly, Wolves got their first Premier League win of the season at home and a clean sheet, they have earned 6 points from 20 matches. The first three points were from 3 draw, plus the three points they managed to secured today. They have played more than half of the matches of the season, there’s no way they can escape the relegation zone this season, Wolves, West Ham and Burnley are going to compete in the championship next season.

West Ham lack the quality players to keep them in the Premier League this season, they appointed Nuno after the start of the season, the manager is capable to improve the team, but I think it is too late to avoid the relegation zone, they are 4 points behind Nottingham Forest who sit in 17 position, and I’m not sure if Nottingham Forest will drop four points in their next games.

I have heard Arteta himself say that the Arsenal gameplan and the role of Gyokeres have not yet fully adapted and it will take some time. That is, if the team and him can be set up properly then he will be able to score goals regularly. Actually it would be wrong to say they ignore him. you know Arsenal always play with possession which leaves little space for strikers. Gyokeres on the other hand is a player who like to run into space behind defenders and show his play. You may already know that many are questioning whether he is perfect in Artetas system or not. However I think Arteta still trust him. He may be hoping that if the understanding between the players increases Gyokeres will get better service and goals will come

We are talking about a team that couldn't beat Wolves at Old Trafford a few days ago.    I would never trust them against a much more capable team like Leeds honestly.

Leeds scored in 8 matches consecutively which ended against Liverpool. But they can still score against Manchester United too considering the poor defense of their opponent. Calvert-Lewin is amazing recently.

This is why I would bet on BTTS instead of trusting a side to be the winner.

You would be right. United may look good at times, and they were pretty decent to be here, but they had some not so great games as well. Specially the tie against Wolves was a terrible one because everyone expected not just a win but a domination in that game since Wolves sucked all season long, so everyone expected them to do better.

Wolves are in such terrible situation is that, they are not looking like the worst team of premier league, they are also looking like they wouldn't be top half of championship, so they are really bad, and United failed to win. And United lost to Villa, which I have to accept wasn't that shocking, but also got a 4-4 tie with Bournemouth as well. So all in all, they have been not that great for a while now.

This is a champions response if you ask me, seriously this is the kind of response that every club who have been champions make immediately after going down. Today’s game once again tested Arsenal’s resolve and they came out on top, I was a bit skeptical about the outcome of the game most especially when they went a goal down because I thought what happened last season when the cherries hosted the gunners would still repeat it self but yet again a very important goal by Gabriel again in this game after been the one who cheaply gave the ball away to Evanilson for the first goal.

I think if this season were to end with Arsenal winning the league the player of the season would be heavily contested between the two players; Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhaes because both have been seriously superb this season. Hopefully they are both get to crown the league winners. Manchester city have a game at hand tomorrow against Chelsea and a win will help them reduce the point deficit to four points but this three points is seriously an important one for Arsenal
