Antoine Samenyo what a player, gets his first goal in blue colours for the  Citizens barely a week since he left Bournemouth, he has jumped straight into business without wasting anytime   at least they didn't waste time with these small team's, big teams produce big results  

Waiting to see the Villa game, hope Spurs will be cooked.

What a start by him really mate!    A goal and an assist already in his first match with his new team. He shows how much he is hungry for wins and trophies at Manchester City already.

Winning by scoring 10 goals in the FA Cup match was another thing for them... That's just brutal. I know this one was against a small team but I believe in Semenyo to show good performances like this one against tougher competitors also.

He is already a fixture-proof player which he has proven at Bournemouth.

Newcastle games are turning out to be high scoring games these days which is a good and bad thing if you ask me.. it's bad in the sense that it shows poor defending from the boys and good that the boys can actually get goals for the boys which is a good attribute... But Newcastle needs to fix their defense I don't like how porous they are!

To me its a true definition of equality, when two teams with equal strength meets the result turns at high side due to the fact that both teams has all it takes to prove a point at last. Truly it signifies weak defensive quality for both side but i think its so because of team formation, when both teams play in the same game pattern what do you expect from them at last after seeing there massive full front and backwardness also when they run out of favour.

Arsenal is still leading the league with a big margin, so they do not really have a need to do a better job, they are doing as good as they should be doing and nothing more is needed. I get that it may not be the best that they are looking for, but they have done a good job and that is good enough.

While it is not an easy task to keep the leadership position, they have done it so far, it has been 21 games if I am not wrong and that is long enough that they are going to probably win the league. Obviously anything could happen, things change very quickly, and if arsenal ends up losing points back to back for just a few weeks like city or all others did, then suddenly City will take that spot, but I do not think that will happen.

Just a little bit of advice, if anybody bets on any English games today (it’s only Cup and lower leagues) then be aware that there has been bad snow across a lot of the country. There will probably be lots of games postponed due to the weather so just bear that in mind. Often games are cancelled close to kick off because they have late pitch inspections.

Thank you so much for your information and it would be treated with caution, it’s that time of the year which is a winter season so there is every tendency this was going to happen, So which is why if we’re gambling on any game in the English Cup ties which is in the FA Cup would be gambled with Precision.
And mostly the weather conditions, I remember playing Everton vs Liverpool in the Premier League last season which the game was postponed due to a storm in Merseyside, unfortunately the game was postponed due to this weather and my game was cancelled.

Well, Arsenal won't mind the draw, they shouldn't let it happen again because they won't find themselves lucky as this, to have Manchester City and Aston Villa draw with them in any week's match.

However, I will count this draw that Manchester City and Aston Villa had as the savior of Arsenal because if it had been Manchester City and Aston Villa had won their week 21 game, they would have drawn closer to Arsenal by points, leading to pressure on Arsenal not to lose or draw their remaining matches.

Of course Arsenal will certainly mind that they had a draw in the game against Liverpool. Also, just because Man city and Aston villa equally had a draw in their games doesn't mean Arsenal would be happy or content with the draw. Liverpool could very well be considered the lucky one in that game as they managed to hold Arsenal to a draw.
Arsenal in my opinion, is still under some pressure to win games, increase their lead and distance themselves as much as they can from the rest on the league table. They're just 6 points away from second place Man city. 6 points can isn't so much and Arsenal ought to be more serious if they want to retain their lead.

People are reacting as if Liverpool is a bad team. First of all they are fourth place, and probably will finish third place in the league this year, secondly they have been better recently than before, sure they had a bad start but they are doing better compared to those times. So when you consider all of these, I would say that they are not a bad team anymore, they are a very strong team. Imagine Arsenal playing against City or Villa, would you consider it easy chance? Of course not, same here.

Tottenham Hotspurs vs Aston Villa is the deal game for today not even Chelsea, I'm actually hoping to see Aston Villa's performance against Tottenham Hotspurs I really hope they got cooked by the villars, I'm quite certain Unai Emery and his boys are actually gonna do the needful I trust them on that, at least let me use this match to wipe off the bad view I saw in the Manchester City game like that game was just a time wasted to me, I know it might be fun to the Manchester City fans but to me it was just kind of boring game, how can one be watching one team do everything in a match and you still expect it to be called a match?

What a great performance we saw, because from what I saw, Premier League team Manchester City celebrated goal today in an FA Cup match against a League One club. It is truly incredible because everyone may have seen that today the PL giant City club was unusually able to score ten goals but on the other hand the  League 1 club only scored one goal. Manchester City have shown a very aggressive attitude in this FA Cup match so I would say they have prepared well before facing Manchester United in the upcoming match and it's very surprising that Antoine Semenyo was able to score on his debut match..

Smiles, that's if Manchester city and Aston Villa also wins there match, but the last match that both teams also drew, then Arsenal's draw wouldn't be a problem as it will still leave everything on the same level.

But then, your points are very valid, Arsenal needs to work hard to maintain there lead till the end, else history will repeat itself again and that wouldn't be what they want to ever experience anymore. It's just so bad that they play very well, top the table for long and at the end lose out to there counterparts because if inconsistency and poor performance. Just maybe this season will be different since they have a bit level of squad dept and the freedom of interchanging players will help them regain strength and become better. Let see how it goes

The habit of Arsenal overplaying the ball in the defensive zone is always a disaster waiting to happen. Hopefully, the coaches will now take a hard, long look at this. It's a bit crazy that Gabriel gave away the ball just like that for them to concede, yes! he did make amends and scored. This is their year and they cant give it away cheaply.

Declan played a great game, but he, Zubemendi and Merino were at fault for Bournemouth's second goal. The three of them were far back in the defense. someone should have been covering the middle third shooter, either Zubemendi, Rice or Merino. Well it's a lessons learnt. don't drop too deep when defending. Gyokeres should be given more credit, because even without scoring a goal, he's a known threat to every team's defense. I don't even wanna say a thing about their last match-- that's how horrible it was!

Getting every loosed ball is always a probable attempt but, playing from behind usually has some certainty about it and Arsenal happens to be a team that enjoys making those touches. It gives them the edge to actually control the game and outplay their opponent though, they can’t attempt to make mistakes.

Arsenal needs to start winning games from the first half than hoping to do the most damage in the second half, it’s anybody’s game in the second half and their is always room for surprises.

Liverpool in their last 10 games have been unbeaten games in all competitions so it's safe to say that they're doing better now than when they lost 8 of the previous 10 games. I understand that many people are expecting so much from Liverpool because they're reigning champions but the truth is that they're doing their best at the moment. Just like you rightly said, they're not a bad team but the expectations of fans are just too high and for team that spent as much as they did during the summer transfer window, it's actually normal if you ask me.

Liverpool this season is not in form to the point of challenging for the league the highest they can go is to finish in the top four places but , challenging for the title is not in sit for Liverpool because Liverpool don't have the momentum and the right mental state this season. Liverpool will just have to manage through out the season because to me Liverpool is just doing damage control this season because things are not working out for them.



Only three teams are actually title contenders they are Arsenal, Manchester City and Aston Villa apart from these three teams I don't personally see any other team as going for the league title. We can see this in the way that these three teams have been able to maintain a steady form especially Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Dai got his share of the 10 goals scored, what a unique match. LOL

The Bournemouth and Newcastle United game needed extra time to decide and I thought they would go to penalties, I thought that but Harvey Barnes managed to take advantage to score a goal so in this extra time they were saved from going to penalties and ended with a score of 3-2, what a thriller.

Aston Villa are definitely capable of beating Spurs, I'm looking forward to this match.

What are we even analyzing here? It's a League One team getting absolutely battered virtually. The only bit that caught my eye was Rodri scoring, first goal in forever (20 months I think?) which probably means more for the actual season for City than the scoreline itself.

The match with Bournemouth-Newcastle is the one that's actually worrying. They went 120 minutes, Tavernier score in literally the last minute to force pens and then they lose anyway. All that effort for nothing, and this is three days after the Spurs game in which Semenyo scored his goodbye goal.

They're for one point above Spurs at present. And Semenyo's gone. I don't know how they get to replace that. Apparently they're trying to get some Stuttgart winger at 35m but the bid got rejected already. The whole "entertaining chaos" thing stops being fun when you realise that they might actually go down.

Villa-Spurs isn't even a contest right now. Spurs are missing basically everyone who matters, Frank's already on thin ice after that Arsenal cup photo disaster and Villa are flying. Morgan Rogers always seems to score against them too. It's done before it starts.

Manchester City humiliated Exeter City, a team from the third level as you mentioned and sitting precisely in the other half of the standing there. Not the best team to face Guardiola. We are talking about 50% of the attacks were scored and 100% of the attempts on target were scored.
By the way, there are many other teams that scored at least 5 goals even though there are teams not playing in Premier League right now..

Yes, you're right arsenal must win consistently to maintain top position in table and that is what they have been doing. They have been consistent this season, I don't think their position on the table is threatened due to the draw against Liverpool. Arsenal is six points ahead Manchester city whose form has declined recently. Arsenal don't repeat same mistakes, Liverpool played better in that match it is better arsenal didn't lost all three points.

Even though there are 3 teams that could realistically win the league, I honestly think Arsenal look like they have the biggest chance this season compared to Man City and Aston Villa. In every match, Arsenal seem more focused on not dropping points than playing reckless, and taking a draw is clearly the smart move when a win isn’t possible. This kind of no drama, just points mentality is why I believe it’s finally Arsenal’s turn to lift the trophy.
