Mbemo the goal opener was able to get his first Manchester derby match goal in the second half. Carrick Fletcher won his first Manchester derby match today. Assuming, Mout goal wasn't canceled this victory would have been a bomb for City who couldn't clap back any of the goals and allowed United to win them on a clean sheet.

What a performance by Manchester United, the citizens were stunned today. Pep Guardiola and his boys weren’t expecting that at all, just like most of us never saw it coming. Only a hardcore Man United fan would have bet on United to win in this match.
Manchester City could only play the ball but couldn’t get the all important goals and their shots on target weren’t even much to begin with.
Let’s see if United will continue in this form or slip back to old ways. Their key players from the AFCON are back now.

This is an incredible result. Even after the match ended, i was still stunned, thinking "How did they get that strength" It's impossible.

Although we know that Manchester City have a fragile defence, this has been an issue since previous seasons, and there has been no real change in this defensive line.

Whatever the case, this was beyond expectations. It's a good foundation for Manchester United. Congratulations to them for securing three points with a convincing victory.

What a performance by Manchester United, the citizens were stunned today. Pep Guardiola and his boys weren’t expecting that at all, just like most of us never saw it coming. Only a hardcore Man United fan would have bet on United to win in this match.
Manchester City could only play the ball but couldn’t get the all important goals and their shots on target weren’t even much to begin with.
Let’s see if United will continue in this form or slip back to old ways. Their key players from the AFCON are back now.

Manchester City and Pep Guardiola did not come prepared for the game that's why they couldn't perform Wonders as expected because the game was to end in their favour as they were given the odd to win but Manchester United came out with a different spirit today the motivation from their performance alone shows that they were prepared to win the game and they finally won. It was a superb performance for the home team they dominated the game and scored up to 5 goals though 3 of which was ruled out but they finally won 2:0 to make the league easier for Arsenal, if they continue this performance the team will make it to the champions League next season.

Even under Amorim, United was showing some fight in big games like against Liverpool. I don’t know if it will last but it’s great to see Manchester United playing like this in a derby again. It might be a long shot given the management chaos but i really hope things work out and we can build a long term, successful era with Carrick.

Yeah the result was shocking I bet on Manchester City to win because I had the belief they will win Manchester United but the surprise in premier league happened as usual, if you watch premier league matches very well you will know that it’s usually like this the teams always comes with a very shocking performance, since the starting of the season till now this match between Manchester United and Manchester City is the most surprising and shocking match.
congratulations to Arsenal the premier league trophy belongs to them this season nothing or no club can stop them from winning it they have worked very hard for 3 good seasons now always coming out second now is there turn they should just win today’s match.

They don't look convincing for quite some time, and now they look even worse with all those players missing. I mean, just look at those 2 central defenders that started the game today.

Having said that, Man Utd is not at any better situation neither, and I would even less likely pout money of them. Imho, its the best to just avoid betting on either of Manchester teams. At least that's what I am doing lately, after getting screwed by them quiate a few times this season.

Manchester United might be really helping Arsenal today without knowing it. It was a spectacular win though. Manchester City played like they were the underdogs instead!

Now we are waiting on Arsenal about if they will manage to open the gap more or not... They had better take advantage of this.

It is still 0-0. Forest might be hard to deal with sometimes but I believe in Arsenal to do it.

I knew Manchester United would play a little bit better if Amad and Mbeumo returned from the Afcon tournament. It is good that both players inspired Manchester United to beat Manchester City in the Manchester derby. With the way Manchester United performed against Manchester City, Manchester United will perform better under Micheal Carrick. Manchester United would have beaten Manchester City with plenty of goals if Manchester United's 3 goals were not cancelled because, but it is okay even as Manchester United won Manchester City 2:0 because they were able to collect the 3 points.

I was really astonished with the kind of display Manchester United showed today against Manchester city in their Manchester derby game, it was really impressive performance from Michael carrick Boys in his first game in charge as manager of Manchester United. City are really affected by injuries especially in their defense line where they lost almost their starting 11 defenders to injuries. No wonder they are hastening up to sign Marc Guehi this January transfer window to come and help their defense line.

Match results for the other matches apart from the Manchester derby which took the thread with rage.

Chelsea Vs Brentford 2-0
Leeds Vs Fulham       1-0
Liverpool Vs Burnley  1-1
Sunderland Vs Crystal Palace 2-1
Tottenham Vs West Ham 1-2

So Brentford displayed a very good performance but they weren’t able to net a goal and Chelsea won..Joao Pedro scored and Palmer added with his penalty goal. Brent firs were somewhat the better side in this game, I’ll say Chelsea’s defense line played really well not to allow them score and they are not ahead of them in the table.

Liverpool could have won this game, if not for Szoboszlai that didn’t win in that penalty, that was a good comeback from Burnley to share points with Liverpool at anfield. Liverpool dominated the game but they had to share points with Burnley because of the 65th minute equalizer from Edwards.

Should I talk about how disappointed I am with Tottenham performances? They have lost three games in a row and they haven’t won any of their last five matches..they draw two and lost five and today a losing against West Ham!

First of all I will have to thank Ruben Amorim for this wonderful signings he's just made I thank him so much because those signings has really made a good impact on that Manchester United team no doubt, just imagine subbing Mbeumo after one goal then bring in Cunha and he made two wonderful assist if not that VAR cancelled one of the assist like today's game was just so amazing, kudos to Michael Carrick for a job Well done for today like he really gives the kind of tactics that Manchester United actually use in finishing teams like Manchester City, like I didn't believe Manchester United could have won that game.

Man United were very destructive in today's game, I think, actually the Man United team was fully prepared to win the Manchester derby match because we noticed that although this team was behind in terms of ball position and passing, they were strong in attack.As a result, it has been possible to see that the city giants have been embarrassed in today's game. I am surprised that City lost 2-0 in the derby today after drawing three of their last five matches it is truly ridiculous to me.

The City Giants now have 43 points due to their defeat in today's derby match and my idea perhaps this is how this team is gradually falling behind but on the other hand it appears that Man United are moving ahead as they defeated the City giants in this game today and it is undoubtedly true that one of the Danish players in this team played a great role by scoring a goal in the 76th minute.

Manchester United have done so many errors and broke the heart of many fans and also gamblers of which I understand clearly avoiding to play them but to some extent their performance today was very impressive and I feel like almost saying that something has actually changed in this club but I won't speak too early, I will see how they hold up against an inform arsenal side who is hungry to actually make the title theirs this season.

I am as shocked as well, never in this whole season would i have believed that a time will come and a match where Manchester united will beat Manchester city with not just one goal but two goals straight, this is really amazing to be honest and very unbelievable.

Arsenal is currently playing against Nottingham forest and like you said, I am also hoping we don't get a double surprise as well, it's also about 64 minutes into this game and not Arsenal nor Nottingham forest is yet to score a goal, I honestly don't want this match to end in a draw, I want answer to win, this would really go along away in strengthening their position in the first place, further enhancing their chances of winning the league title this season.

 I was also shocked with the incredible performance of Manchester United I couldn't believe they would just beat Manchester city in that manner. It seems Manchester United has just awoken from there sleep if they can keep up with this incredible performance then they secured a good position in the league table. Yes I also observed that Manchester city defense was very porous, I wonder why Guardiola hasn't done anything about it. Kudos to Manchester United ,it was really a great win for them.

I am very sure with this victory there must be a lot of hope growing for Manchester United under the coaching of M M Carrick. Indeed he once handled this team and ended up being sacked, but now he must have learned a lot.

I also saw today that Manchester City did not play as usual. Either because the strategy applied by M Carrick was successful or indeed Manchester City did not find their best touch which in the end made them have to admit defeat to Manchester United.
