Manchester City earned a comfortable home win and won the match 2–0. This victory was expected against Wolverhampton. After this win, they will start preparing for the Galatasaray match.
Liverpool were devastated by Amine Adli’s last minute goal. They were down 2–0, managed to make it 2–2, but couldn’t protect the score and ended up losing the match. It’s time to part ways with Arne Slot, but I really don’t understand what the Liverpool management is waiting for.

What the hell is going on with Liverpool? After winning in the Champions League I expected them to be confident after returning to the Premier League but the reality is that tonight they are 2 goals behind Bournemouth again.
If you are behind like this it will be difficult to equalize let alone to win, I think they are still not confident playing in the Premier League with bad results in the last match. If they lose, is this a threat to Arne Slot to be fired? While Xabi is always associated with Liverpool.
I don't think all this rumors of Xabi and Liverpool would work. What are the chances that Xabi would take Liverpool to the next level, when he also had a few problems at Real Madrid before his departure?. I think we need to slow down with this too many expectations, otherwise, it won't take too long before we start to question the decision of the club for not sacking him. I myself can't even understand what's going on with Liverpool. Slot won the league title for them almost effortlessly, but it seems the same slot isn't the one coaching the same Liverpool team this season. But come to think of it, what if the premier league has gotten tougher?. We saw Arsenal narrowly escaping this same Bournemouth. Well, that's a discussion for another day. Maybe slot should just remain till the season ends. If the team's performance fails to improve, then the club can decide on what to do.

That last goal came as a shock to Liverpool because they really tried their best to make sure the game ended up as a draw at least instead of losing totally. Liverpool are still struggling in the premier league and from the look of things they might not be able to recover this season i hope that they get better next season because this hasn't been the best football season for them. city on the other hand won with ease but we all expected nothing less.

Pep’s player rotations today worked very well for him. It was very likely he was going to do this given just how E. Haaland and Foden seemed out of form and with the performs of Marmoush freshly from the AFCON, Pep looks to use that to his advantage, tags him with Cherki and gets results. Wolves weren’t a difficult team though but, with the performs of Manchester City well around average, they proved a little of a challenge. One player that is having a good season so far is Semenyo, his only joined the team and has got around 3 goals. Liverpool were devastated by Amine Adli’s last minute goal. They were down 2–0, managed to make it 2–2, but couldn’t protect the score and ended up losing the match. It’s time to part ways with Arne Slot, but I really don’t understand what the Liverpool management is waiting for.
Not one of Liverpool’s best but, at least they got to share points. Coming from 2 goals down to get an equalizer, that was a good result for them.

Marmoush scored the first goal in the 6th minute at the Etihad. Haaland was on the bench, but Marmoush started in the first eleven. Later on, Marmoush came close to scoring again, even involving a handball the referee went to VAR but didn't award a penalty. Semenyo was very intimidating he also scored a goal and looked good in the match. Manchester City scored two goals before the end of the first half, and those goals were enough for the second half.

I'm not a Liverpool fan but I'm deeply concerned by the happenings in the club at the moment. Liverpool at the moment at performing below average and for a club or such status, it's absolutely disappointing to see. I personally think the time of the current manager Arne Slot at the club is over, I'm even surprised that Liverpool management allowed him to remain at the club till this moment. Losing to Bournemouth again today I think should signal the end for Slot. They should get rid of him and get a better manager or they might finish the season below the 6th position

After Manchester City failed to win in their four previous matches, they finally secured three points over Wolverhampton, which closed their points gap with Arsenal. Arsenal will play their match against Manchester United, honestly this is going to be a difficult match to predict. Manchester United beat Manchester City, do we think they can do the same to Arsenal? In my opinion I'm more confident in Arsenal winning, especially as they'll be playing at home. As I saw Liverpool concede 2-0, I lost hope that they won't do anything in the match and they still managed to equalize, but defending the draw became a problem, and they ended up losing which is very embarrassing. I don't know what Liverpool are keeping Arne Slot for after he has made the team weak for competing in the Premier League title.

After Guardiola's rotation preference I was wondering how things were going to be. But they managed to get the 2-0 lead in the first half already. Finding the first goal early helped them a lot about opening the lock quickly. Otherwise maybe things might have been really difficult. Even now I can't say this is a very impressive performance. The xG isn't even 1.00 now. Doku and Haaland have also entered the game so maybe the gap could get bigger in the last 10 minutes. With or without the rotation, a win was something I expected cause Wolverhampton is one of the weakest team in the league this season, moreover Pep still played several good players in his line-up, Manchester City would've scored more if only the refree had awarded the potential penalty, I really don't understand why it wasn't awarded. It's going to see Semenyo doing great in City’s shirt, he's a top player and I expect more of this from him. I don't know if you wanted Manchester City to score 5 goals in the first half before you’ll appreciate their effort, this did well and dominated the game mostly, scoring 2 goals is nice since it's enough to secure the 3 points. The match against wolves was obviously a sure win for the home side; so the result wasn't even surprising at all. And it's not also their best result. I personally feel they performed below standard by their goal scoring average. With their depth of attacking players they couldn't pull up more than 2 goals against a very weak side. It's just like Madrid playing against wolves and mbappe couldn't score an hatrick. Or probably Madrid won with just 2 goals with their Vini, mpabbe and Rodrygo in attack. That would definitely be labelled as underperformance. We all know wolves have one of the weakest defense and midfield this season so i expected Man City's high line of attacking depth to take advantage of it by scoring up to 5 or 6 goals but they managed just two goals which is really below their usual goal scoring records. I expected wolves to concede more than two goals. for a fact, they are highly revered as one of the weakest opponents this season due to their consistent run of poor forms. So yes they secured all three points against wolves but I still do think they have all it takes to do better than that.

True to the obvious , it's a win win for the gunners. Man United is still a struggling team trying to manage good results. So they wouldn't do any shi*t. We saw what Arsenal did to the highly overrated Aston Villa. We all saw how they were humiliated. But before the match , almost everybody was like , Aston Villa will deal with Man U. But in the end, the result didn't go their way. That match was nothing but a confirmation that Arsenal really want to win the league this season. They are just too consistent to loose against a much weaker side as Man U. So to answer your question tho. If Arsenal could beat the almighty Aston Villa how much more Man U? A team that couldn't even secure a point against the same Aston that dropped 3 good points against Arsenal. From analysis it doesn't even look like Man United is in a better form than Arsenal. Let's not overrate this Man U team. Just because they managed to win against out of form Man City does not mean they can pose a threat to Arsenal. Man United will surely lose that match. Infact when I think about the derby, I am tempted to take my mind back to how Man U conceded 7 goals against Liverpool few seasons ago. They just might also do the same against the gunners. Pray for Man U!!

I think Pep Guardiola did the right thing by not starting Erling Haaland otherwise, those Wolverhampton defenders would have him frustrated from the beginning to the ending. Using Marmoush, not as a central number nine but pme who roams freely. That movement was wonderful to watch over and over again. First goal after returning from the world cup. The penalty not awarded was fair. That official as also having his first game officiated. He did really good. Marc Guéhi also had his debut and made that City defence comfortable.

Not one of Liverpool’s best but, at least they got to share points. Coming from 2 goals down to get an equalizer, that was a good result for them. Well, it seems like you finished the match before stoppish time because the result was 3-2 to Bournemouth's favour not a tie. Although Bournemouth's third goal came very late into stoppish time . So it's not a surprise because everyone was thinking the match would end a draw but Bournemouth proved to be a bigger headache at injury time. At 90+5 it was still 2-2 until Bournemouth had a throw few seconds to stoppish time and they took advantage of the opportunity. So ,Liverpool didn't share any points with them. In actual fact , they lost all three points against Bournemouth. What a Shame! a team that won the league the previous season couldn't even manage a draw with an underrated team such as Bournemouth. I seriously don't know what Arne slot is still doing in his managerial position. I personally feel M.Salah should start looking for options around Saudi Pro League. Because he's past his prime. In fact he's paid his dues. He should allow the team to explore better attacking options. I think Liverpool is sick and need healing. Quick recovery for Liverpool and Arne slot!

At first when I saw world cup, I was already thinking that the 2026 world cup has started and concluded right under my nose without my prior notice. But when I read carefully and saw Marmoush's name ; an Egyptian player who just returned from AFCON it was then I noticed you made a mistake by mentioning World cup instead of AFCON. I seriously love Marmoush's style of play. I too watched the man City game and saw how he performed very well in the absence of their top striker - Haaland. He really is fantastic player. Although sometimes inconsistent too. A bright future ahead for him tho!

Liverpool went from best when scoring at last minute to the worst when defending in the last minute. So the different is clear. The question that is still remain unanswered whether it's squad or coach who must take the responsibility. The club has regressed so hard, and this has to be one of their worst season ever. Everyweek Slot's squad keeps break a dogshit record and i think it's normal when fans finally lose their patience on him. So it makes sense to expect him to remain as the head coach for Liverpool until the end of season, then Xabi will come as his replacement. This confirms how his last season's win was primarily attributable for Slot's squad legacy. I doubt him would lift last season trophy if he was building the squad by himself from the scratch.

Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League against Marseille, and I said that maybe this club was able to break its winning drought but today I'm watching this team's Premier League match and it seems like they might lose today's match too because they're already 2:1 down. This team's performance against the French club was completely overwhelming, which resulted in their victory in that match. But today's performance does not seem satisfactory to us at all, as a result it appears that this team has fallen behind before the end of the first half of the match, anyway we saw Van Dijk scored for Liverpool in the 42nd minute of this game, so it's right they should be more aggressive against Bournemouth tonight.
Marseille is not PL club's level. So comparing Liverpool's result against Marseille to the performance against Bournemouth is wrong. EPL club has always been more difficult to beat especially when it's playing low block such as Bournemouth. Marseille is not at the level of PL clubs I agree with you on this but Liverpool could have tried to keep up the winning streak but you may have noticed they couldn't do that in that Premier League match. Looking at the performance of this team in the past few matches before this match, it is clear that they have drawn many matches but we noticed that they have won impressively in the Champions League. If Liverpool could have maintained their concentration and bravery against Bournemouth last night, like they did in the Champions League, my idea they would have won that premier League game.
