I won’t say Arsenal performance is bad right now, but they still have to work on their performance. They were able to win their last champions league match against inter Milan, but if you check the premier league results, then you will see that Arsenal have not been able to get any win in their last three matches in the premier league. They played draw against Liverpool, and Nottingham forest, and they lost to Manchester United. Arsenal will have to start winning their matches back if they really want to win the premier league this season.

For the past 3 seasons Aston Villa has consistently been a dark horse of the Premier League, which should be wary of being able to compete at the top of the table, especially in this season, where they get a moment over the inconsistency of Arsenal and Man city, especially the inconsistency of Liverpool and Chelsea, so that the place usually occupied by those two teams, has now belonged to Aston Villa. Even if Arsenal don't win the Premier League, i won't be saying the same thing for Aston Villa, they should first of all win the Europa League before thinking of winning the Premier League in the midst of Arsenal and Manchester City. Aston Villa are third place in the standing, they have better chances than most of the clubs we expected to be up there, however, i don't include them in the race for the title, Champions League qualification position is what should be considered an achievable target.

To be honest, that can even happen, as the way this Aston Villa are playing just to win, not as if other clubs are in same state to be in the top 4, well to be honest Aston Villa as really shown that they want it. Right now Arsenal are toping the table and with 4 points in head of Manchester City and Aston. It is not an easy one to keep motivating till the end of the season. Arsenal will really need to put in everything if they want to win the title this season.

I was discussing with someone today and this Aston Villa was part of our discussion. I told him that Aston Villa is an invincible title contenders that nobody is taking serious, but somehow they are using that to their advantage. The media attention is not on them, people are looking at them as underdogs yet they are accumulating points secretly without any pressure on them. They have same point with City and they are as consistent. I think the earlier people start seeing Aston Villa as title contenders the better for us all.

I still don't consider them having a chance of winning the league and neither do I consider them small but rather above mid because under Unai Emery the Aston Villa team has been doing well and this season is not the first time they are trying to finish in top 4, they done that already under him.

Also, Aston Villa are still not that consistent enough to get above both teams ahead of them, yea, even if they have same points with City, and while their top 4 position seems save, with Man United and Chelsea now back on that race and Liverpool joining this will make it tougher for them.

I hugely admire how the club has become since the very first season in the premier league from being relegated to coming back up again, and now they are dominating almost in all angles. Bournemouth was a great low-budget team last season and despite losing some key players, they are still doing more than expectations.

I don't think there is something wrong if they say that, because Arsenal dropping points is becoming unbearable which they were not expecting because they are pushing for title and they want them to win or draw than losing the whole three points. Aston Villa doesn’t need to beat Arsenal to win the premier league trophy, all they need to do is be consistent and win subsequent fixtures. Same applies to every other team.

The 3 projected teams to win the trophy this season remains largely Arsenal, Manchester City and Aston Villa and with Arsenal dropping points over the weekend, the possibility of loosing yet another chance at lifting the title becomes very real but, it wouldn’t be to Aston Villa, they are still at least 4 points behind which means, they need Arsenal to loose 2 games before they could get the chance and same applies to Manchester City.

It's possible Aston villa could surprise us and win the trophy. They are 4 points behind Arsenal and it's possible they could top the league if Arsenal and Manchester city mess up. I am not taking Aston villa serious even though it is still possible that they could top the table. To start with, Aston Villa is not a small club and we can all bear witness of their performance not only in the season but in the past seasons. We should not also forget the name of the Aston Villa coach - Emery. This man has also coached Arsenal football team, this show that he is not a small man in the business.

Why have we forgotten so easily what Aston Villa did to Arsenal to seasons ago which was the reason then we are unable to win the league. To be honest with you Aston Villa has been a big player in the recent English Premier League and I will not be surprised if the clinch the title from behind.

Come to think of it, Manchester City which is known for pressureing Arsenal and will eventually snatch the title towards the end of the season seems to be weak this season. Champions league week and one of the so called EPL big teams aren't playing in it  Manchester United really need to up there game, and changing managers almost every season isn't the solution, they better stick to having Carrick for now and let him build the team from bottom up to allow for team growth and the chemistry to happen.. if not work done will always equal to zero!

Arsenal seasons are always predictable, and after predicting their inconsistency towards the end of the season, it will not even be up to February when they will start displaying inconsistency in full swing. And that is why most football fans and pundit are still not convinced on their chances of winning this year English premier league title.
