2:1 Wasn't the best result I expected from the Manchester United team but I think the team was so unlucky not to have utilized the 10 men  advantage they had over Newcastle United to score but at the end William Osula late strike gave Newcastle United the winner against Manchester United 11 men .

Micheal Carrick has experienced his first defeat since he took over the job as the interim manager it's good for him so that he will gather more experience for the task ahead but I hope he learns from this defeat because losing against a 10 men team when your team is complete is a bit shameful for a team that wants to be in the top4.

 

Carrick must feel really disappointed that his team lost but he has to brace up because no matter how good a team is it is not possible for.them to win every game. I thought the game would end in a draw especially after the red card Newcastle got. Man city has given Arsenal more hope of winning the league as they played draw with Nottingham sitting at number 17 on the league table. Arsenal is now leading Man city with 7 point although Man city had an outstanding match. Arsenal is really trying to remain at that top, I see their match more difficult than that of Man city's match today but they still won. There one goal scored by Saka B. at 9 minutes secured them the 3 points.

I'm not in doubt if Arsenal will win the league this season, I'm still of the opinion that Manchester city will lift the league on very Arsenal, it's 7 points at the moment and Manchester city has a game at hand, but Manchester city is not playing like a team that will do the needful but I believe Arsenal will still bottle the league.

My pain tonight that my beloved Manchester United lost to 10 men Newcastle United at the stoppage time, Micheal Carrick made a mistake by those poor changes I believe he will learn from that and improve in his next game against Aston Villa.

He was disappointed because his team couldn't score despite all the opportunities they had and the chances they created but could not convert to goals, personally I was expecting Manchester United to win when Newcastle was reduced to 10 men but Manchester United only managed to dominate them in possession but scoring goals wasn't coming despite all the attempts they made. The season is getting interesting. Aston Villa loss again. Manchester United drew it and Chelsea still has 48 points, and Aston Villa 51 points. Manchester City still maintain their second position in the league. I am still in doubt  that Arsenal will win this season title. Manchester City or Manchester United might bench Arsenal and take the title. And the way Chelsea is inconsistent in the season, I don't trust them to win the trophy.

The matches are getting more intense as the season is coming to an end. I think the main contenders are Arsenal and Manchester city. I don't think either Manchester united or Chelsea could win the title ths season. It would be really crazy to see Man united after having a poor performance under the previous manager, bounce back and win the title. If this happens, Carrick is very likely to be given a contract and formally made manager from next season. But for all that dream to come through, Arsenal and Man city would need to lose their remaining games while Man united wins all of theirs.
Arsenal is still in the race to win the title. The difference between them and 2nd place Man city is little but I believe they can still win this.

Today before the game I expected it to be difficult for Manchester United because this Newcastle side ard seriously under pressure for points, so they will go all out against Manchester United.

Seriously it was a missed opportunity to go clear in third place with three points. And I must admit Manchester United have usually struggled when it’s against less number of men, Carrick needs to address that if they want to win this top Four battle

I just don't know how Manchester City threw both of their lead away because this Nottingham Forest team came back from a goal down twice to equalize the game, and because of this draw against Nottingham Forest, they have given arsenal much leverage in the title race, since it's seven points that is separating them for now.
The only Good thing there is that, they still have arsenal to play, which it's mandatory that they must win arsenal, and claim all three points for them to stand a chance of winning the English premier League title this season.

One thing that I have always said very clearly is that, for a team that want to win the premier League title, that team must know how to claim all three points even when they are not in their best form, and that is what arsenal are doing quite well. So if they can continue with this level of performance and consistency by claiming all three points from any of their opponent, nothing is stopping them from winning English premier League title this season.

I won't say it was unlucky for Manchester United honestly. Because I didn't find their pressure over Newcastle good enough in the second half while their opponent was playing with 10 players... 

You just need to win that game man. Or at least make a bigger effort in that part... At least Aston Villa also lost points but the bad news for them is that Chelsea are 3 points behind now. The race for top 4 is still on.

The most surprising results in the Premier League were Manchester City-Nottingham Forest 2-2 and Aston Villa-Chelsea 1-4. City made another mistake and it seems that they are losing the battle for the Premier League trophy. I wasn't expecting Aston Villa to be humiliated at their home stadium against the not-so-consistent Chelsea. Even Cole Palmer scored a goal for Chelsea. Villa's defense was destroyed by Chelsea. Arsenal won in a rather boring match against Brighton with a pretty lucky goal, while Brighton missed a really good goal opportunity. I really don't expect Tottenham to win versus Crystal Palace so I might put a bet on those teams ending in a draw.

I think you are just a hater that has refused to see the obvious. Arsenal had a tougher game compared to Manchester City and  they still find a way to win, but Manchester City that has the easier match ended up with a draw and you still feel they will win the Premier League.  My dear I am sorry to disappoint you, Arsenal is the most consistent team in the league right now and they will win the league at the end of the season, and I am still very confident that Manchester will drop more points, nothing saying that Arsenal will not drop points, but what I can assure you is that Arsenal will be crowned champions come May.

Manchester United should have been able to capitalize on a great opportunity to win this match after Jacob Ramsey was sent off with a red card. But in the second half Manchester United failed to take advantage of this opportunity to score against Newcastle. And Manchester United even conceded a goal through a quick counterattack by Newcastle in the final minutes. I personally predicted that Manchester United would struggle against Newcastle in this match. This defeat further proves that St. James' Park is a nightmare for Manchester United. From last season to this season Newcastle has always won when hosting Manchester United. This defeat also makes it more difficult for Manchester United to maintain their position in the top 3, where they will soon be overtaken by Aston Villa or even Chelsea if Man United cannot perform well in the next few matches. And the likelihood of Manchester United winning the league this season is becoming increasingly difficult. The disappointment of Man United supporters was clearly evident in this defeat.

I see the goal from osula as more of a solo effort than anyone giving him an assist, but what really surprises me was Manchester United not being able to beat this Newcastle United team that was a man down from the first half of the game.
Michael Carrick have been praised for the result Manchester United have gotten under his leadership as a head coach of the club so far, but what most people have failed to understand is that, Manchester United are playing one game per week, but the only time they have the opportunity to play two games in a week, they start showing the Old habit of Manchester United under Ruben amorin, this is why i believe that this Manchester United team is not among the best for now, so the best they can achieve this season, is to secure a top four position that will qualify them for a place in the UEFA champions league, aside that, there is nothing special about them.

Can this season of Premier League please end? I mean is impossible to guess a result all the teams are more than irregular, what the fuck is happening with Wolves for example they are already in second division but somehow they beat Aston Villa and now they beat Liverpool in consecutives games.

It is sad to see that... I thought this would be another match with points for Manchester United. Carrick has made me believe in them much more when we compare it to Amorim's times.

Actually an opportunity arouse after the red card right before the halftime. But not only they couldn't score but also conceded a devastating goal in the last minutes. They will just keep their head down on their objective and move on.

I didn't think for a second that Man City would draw with Nottingham and drop crucial points in the title race. Guardiola's side was just a tiny bit away from a win. There was a moment in the game when Forest player Murillo cleared the ball off the line in the very last second of the match, preventing City from taking all three points. City was just unlucky in that moment. I hope they have better luck in the match against Real Madrid.
