Arsenal have another match to play in 4 days. It is against Wolves away. This isn't a match missing for them first of all. The opposite actually as they are going to play their week 31 match earlier.

Their previous head-to-head match was quite surprising. Wolves were so close to stealing a point from them as a reminder. I think Arsenal will stay stronger this time. Just as Chelsea beat Wolves away 3-1 recently I expect Arsenal to get a similar result too.

I don't have anything to be worry about Arsenal match, because they have good players and good goalkeeper that is helping the team to make progress in many tournaments in this season, Wolves know how to draw match with their opponent but I don't think Arsenal will allow them to draw this match because they have many targets to achieve this season which their coach is trying his possible best to win the titles to break record what other coaches couldn't break in arsenal team, if Chelsea can achieved victory from wolves in their last match, Arsenal will definitely going to use every skills they have to play this match and they will come out victorious to achieve three points.

So far in the FA Cup, the only surprising result might be shown as Newcastle's beating Aston Villa away by 3-1. Actually that's not much of a surprise on second thought.    Because Aston Villa got a red card which changed the direction of the game was going...

Their recent form has also gone bad a little. But they are still at the 3rd position in the league without a big threat from anyone. There is rather a fight for the 4th position now. I assume Aston Villa wouldn't mess up that much to drop down from top 4 by the end of the season.

Surprise result Newcastle United success defeating Aston Villa at FA Cup match, regarding the current standings in Premier League actually Aston Villa has better performance by leading the top 3rd position. The first half match, Aston Villa full dominance the game and success leading early from Tammy Abraham goal but since playing with ten players after Mrco Bizot get red card make difficult for Aston Villa keep controlling the games.
Second half match full dominance by Newcastle United and success comeback by scoring three goals, after eliminating at FA Cup now Aston Villa only focus for Premier League and UEFA Europe League match.

I bet on Aston villa to win. But they lost. The team performed well in the first half. They even  managed to take a 1-0  lead. But  the scenario changed when the  referee showed Marco Bizot a red card in the  45th minute. It was difficult to win against a team like Newcastle with  10 players. And as usual, they lost. Newcastle  completely controlled the match  in the second half. Aston villa players could not make a single strong attack. They even failed to repel newcastle's attack. If Bizot had not received a red card, the result of the match might have been in aston villa's favor.

FA Cup games usually gives lots of surprises because teams with busy schedule always rest their top players and bring bench power for checking their potential in yesterday games many punters lost their money due to Aston Villa which managed a good start with an early lead but gone down after having red card at the end of half-time.

In another game, Burnley was hot favourite against first league side Mansfield, they also took early lead but in second half, strong comeback by Mansfield gave them shocking defeat and elimination from FA Cup as well, odds were @1.45 while many were expecting free money but at the end, they have nothing to laugh and faced unexpected loses.

There is no Premier League match at this weekend because of the FA Cup. Arsenal also have a cup match to play against Wigan this evening.

Arsenal shouldn't have much of a problem at Emirates. It doesn't matter where it is actually considering that Wigan are even in relegation zone of the League One. 

I expect a significant rotation by Arteta taking the Wolves match in the league in only 3 days...

Premier League is really starting to pull away from other leagues just like the NBA did in basketball. They even managed to get 5 out of 6 teams into the champions league top 8. i think the biggest reason for this is the TV revenue. when you watch a Premier League match you genuinely enjoy it regardless of the score.

Aston villa got a red card and it became ten men against eleven which does not seem favourable to aston villa. The red was what reduce aston villa men and their performance drop. Initially newcastle is hard for aston villa to defeat but before the red card, newcastle were given aston villa tough times but the red card made it harder for aston villa. It was actually a tough game before the red card,aston losing the match didn't shock me. If not for the red card,aston villa team wouldn't be weakened.

If Bizot had not been shown a red card in the first half, aston villa might have played better in the second half. Aston villa's performance in the second half was quite poor. Newcastle  players had a lot of attacking  opportunities and they managed to score three goals in the end. newcastle took advantage  of the opportunities. Aston villa will lose at home. This was an unexpected result. But they did not play well. Newcastle's performance was  organized. And they deserved to win this match.

Honestly Arsenal have proved there supremacy over wigan Atlantic in today's game, before the game started I never believed Arsenal will be so dangerous talk more of winning with a 4 goals margin in the first half of the game. Apart from the win I think they are practicing a good players rotational pattern especially now that the English premier league games are getting challenging and horrible to big teams, as resting those players will help in there next most win match against wolves in the coming days.  As for arsenal's performance on today's game, it calls for praises as they did what all gamblers where expecting them to do before the game started.

I can sort of understand Arsenal losing to United, because United did great so far with Carrick so I get that. But that doesn't mean that Arsenal needs to have this many bad period back to back. They have only 2 wins in the last 5 games alone, and that's a terrible return. They had two ties and one loss during that period and that is not good. I was expecting them to get a win here.

Brentford is a nobody team for Arsenal, to be fair to any team that wants to win the title they should be, Brentford isn't a place where you lose points. I get that bad games do happen sometimes, but for Arsenal it has been happening for quite often and that is why this one was a bit too much, they really needed to get a win here.

A disappointing night for Gunners fan but not for others 
Manchester city more likely will catch up with them now if they are able to stay consistent. Arsenal are still facing the same issues that have held them from lifting the EPL in recent seasons even after getting a proper striker they are still inconsistent and might lose their most glorious chance in these recent seasons to become EPL champions after so many years sadly.

I'm curious if they fail to win the league will Arteta job be at risks?

If Arsenal fail to win the league this season I feel Mikel Arteta will definitely lose his job, he has done his best and the Arsenal board has been patient enough with him.

There is nothing more embarrassing for the Aston Villa team because I noticed that they started showing their attacking spirit just 14 minutes into today's FA Cup match. However, since then, the team's level of dedication has decreased, which has resulted in them not being able to pull off a win in this match. In fact they played very consciously in the first half but we saw in this FA Cup match that they came under a lot of pressure in the second half against Newcastle, as a result, Newcastle United successfully won the fourth round match of the FA Cup and were nominated for the fifth round. In this fourth round match, Aston villa's competition was weakened by their goalkeeper Bizot, because to my knowledge he received a red card in the 46th minute of tonight's game against Newcastle.

I bet on Aston villa to win. But they lost. The team performed well in the first half. They even  managed to take a 1-0  lead. It was a very shocking game, like i wasn't expecting such poor results from them just like i'm saying they win soon go down to their normal position in the English premier league table because i don't really see them ending the season on that third place, they have dropped so bad in form, just imagine this lost like even if they had told me Aston villa would lost the game I'd say it's a lie but all the same the lost anyways, now they are out of the FA cup they should now focus more on the league if they are to make it to any of the European competitions.

Frankly, looking at that scene again, it was one of the dumbest red cards I have ever seen. As you said, he fouls him in the middle of the pitch and it was maximum stupidity. The fun fact is that if he didn't hit him there, it would still be difficult to score as so many players went back and were in position. How the heck could he make that decision?

By the way what  I don't understand, is the VAR not used in the FA Cup or why was the Aston Villa goal not taken back? It was offside and should have been irregular. I actually missed that it seems VAR is not used in the FA Cup? They said the technology is of course there, but just not used. It makes no sense.
