After 2 consecutive wins for Tottenham which took them out of the relegation, they have ended in a stalemate tonight with Leeds United. Tottenham are 2 points apart from being in the relegation zone thanks to Arsenal who beat West Ham yesterday to make sure they remain at the same position. With 2 more matches to go , Tottenham gets to play Chelsea next, a fellow North London team. The funny thing is that both of them are not in form and the result could go either way or another stalemate. Tottenham is battling relegation while Chelsea is battling to get even the Conference league spot. Funny match we will have on the 19th between these 2 teams.

Tottenham Hotspur may still not escape relegation at the end because with the two matches remaining, and they're facing Chelsea football club, Chelsea has been on a losing streak with a bad performance and this game they may not take it lightly with Tottenham. If Tottenham looses a single match out of the remaining two games, then it has become a very big problem to not go not get relegated should any of those teams were able to win their matches.

What is Tottenham doing this season, falling to win at home again. This is not looking good at all because between them and West Ham one person will be going down because, only two points separates the two of them already Wolves and Burnley has been confirmed relegated to the champions. It's still unclear if Tottenham can win the rest of their games and escape the drop. It's still unclear which one of these teams will survive but it has been a very bad and challenging season for these two teams.

People did expected Arsenal to drop the ball and lose the leadership, so that is what happened a few weeks ago, when City won, that was second game in a row Arsenal lost, and while they were ahead 9 points, that was because City was missing one game, so in theory that was six points, and because Arsenal lost both to Bournemouth and then to City, the gap was zero points and City got ahead.

Now the part that people did not expected was City getting that 3-3 draw, and that was an unexpected one, nobody is ready for this, everyone assumed Arsenal would fail spectacularly and City would just take it. Because of that game, now we are going to have to wait, even until the very last game, the decision will probably not be done, and we will need to wait until the very last whistle.

I am not trying to underestimate Arsenal but the way Arsenal fans think they can win two trophies this season is still a surprise to me because it will be a total disappointment to them if, Arsenal gets trashed by PSG. I will always support them to win EPL due to their commitment to win the title but I wouldn't support that they should win the Champions League because whomever, is capable enough to win it between Arsenal and PSG should win it.

There is still possiblity of Arsenal winning two trophies this season. What it will take is for them to win their two remaining matches in the premier League as this will put them in a better position to lift the premier League title this season.

As far the champion league final, it will take good teamwork. If the arsenal players understand each and work together they will beat PSG in the final.

PSG, on the other hand is a strong team and I am pretty sure that they are seriously preparing for this final. However whoever wins the champions League final deserves congratulations in advance.

I can boldly say that Tottenham has missed their chance of distancing themselves clearly from the relegation zone today. 3 points from Leeds would have done the job for them and I am not happy they couldn't do that.

They will now have to face angry Chelsea that wants to play in European football, even if it's the Conference league. Chelsea will obviously not allow Tottenham to have a win and Everton is another strong side that might bewitch Tottenham. We all saw what Everton did to Manchester city, they can obviously do it to Tottenham.

TBH, this season's English Premier league is so competitive from the top to the bottom.

I’m not shocked that Manchester City won the match but I am disappointed in Brentford for conceding 3 goals and not scoring even one to reduce the deficit. Currently the goal difference between Arsenal and Manchester is just 1 and with just 3 games left to decide the league, this victory leaves Arsenal in a slippery slope. 

Yeah, the gap in goals between Arsenal and Manchester City is  miserable, but the gap in points still matters. Provided Manchester City don’t drop points in their next matches, it will still remain the two points difference to overcome, and I don’t think Arsenal will allow that to happen. So their “slippery slope” isn’t as obvious as it might seem at first glance.

Tottenham seem to be doing everything possible to get relegated. Yesterday, they drew 1–1 at home against Leeds United.

They failed to take advantage of the week in which West Ham United dropped points, and with only 2 matches left in the season, their chances of relegation are still high.

The results that West Ham and Tottenham get in these final two matches will be extremely important.

With their current form, I think that they did very well to get a point against Leeds United that is in fine form of recent, but due to what is at stake, they just need to win regardless of who they are up against because if westham United wins their next two games and Tottenham Hotspur fails to win any of their own games, they might get relegated to the championship, so a victory last night would have put them in a strong position to avoid the drop, but because they failed to claim all three point, the battle is still on, and it may fo down to the final day of the season.

Tottenham just looks like a team that doesn’t know what they’re doing, you have an opportunity to get 3 points but they choose to not make any good use of the opportunity.

Leeds are already safe, why don’t you play to win them instead of playing a lackluster football, with the way Tottenham is playing they might eventually get relegated.

When you see there fixtures they will be playing against Chelsea and Everton who are both a very strong team, so they should be very very careful, and I don’t see them winning both games, West ham are also trying to avoid relegation and they have more favorable games than this Tottenham.

I think Arsenal fans has the right to dream of two trophies at this point of the season,  after all they are top of the premier league and also in the final of the champions league,  so I don't understand why people don't expect them to dream. Right now the premier league is looking like it's already theirs and talking about effort,  I think they have also put in a lot of effort in the champions league, so they also deserve to win it. People seem to forget that Arsenal is the only team that is unbeaten in the champions league this season and they have only conceded 6 goals in the competition this season, so why won't the fans dream of winning it. I am not saying they are going to win it, but their fans has the right to dream, because they have worked really hard to get to the final and if you ask me, I think it's a 50/50 game.

Arsenal was very comfortable on the table from the beginning and they were also playing pretty well. As usual, they started dropping points unnecessarily and performance getting declining just like last season and Manchester City begin to catch up with them. City lost the golden opportunity with that draw and everything changed completely.

Although Manchester City are used to this position and they usually thrive but I can still say that Arsenal looks strong and stand higher chance than city. Both teams are now in a position where no error should be tolerated because any slip now from either of them, it's over for another. But for whatever that'll happen, one thing is certain. Either Arsenal end their bottling saga or City extend their dominance.

They played against a side better than them in the League, they're just trying to avoid being relegated. It wasn't an easy game, Leeds United were obviously the better side yesterday night.

Well, we can reduce the negativity around them for now, they're two points above West ham United and if they can get one more points against Chelsea come weekend, they still stand a good chance of not getting relegated. I don't see West Ham United getting a win when they travel to face Newcastle United, that should be good news for Tottenham Hotspur.

Honestly, i'm favoring Chelsea to win the game. They have to get three points in their home game. It's gonna be a disaster if they fail to do that. They can also eliminate another london club then send them to the Championship. So it's the game they have to go all in.
If they successfully eliminate Tottenham in that game. They will increase the chance to have only Arsenal as their london club competitor. So i treat it the same as a dead or alive game for Tottenham.

Hopefully, they will success to do that. So there will be less competitor to compete for the european spots next season.

This match was important for Tottenham to play well and win but they drew in this match and are close to the same zone and this can be quite harmful for them. Leeds do not need to save their position because their only goal was to stay out of this zone and they are quite good in 14th position due to which they cannot go to the top. I think Tottenham will go to this zone because they only have 2 matches in which they have to play well but still it is difficult for them to go up and if West Ham makes a good effort then they will fix Tottenham in their place. They should have done the same but they could not succeed in it if they took 3 points in it then it could have been quite safe for them. But their draw can also be a loss for them and this 1 point might come in handy for them in the end.

Since there are still 2 matches left in the league, Tottenham are definitely still in danger. They failed to take advantage of the opportunity they had.

Even a single defeat in the remaining two matches could lead to relegation. If West Ham United see such an opportunity, I think they will definitely try to take advantage of it and fight to stay in the league.

It is really unbelievable that a big club like Tottenham are still struggling this much in the final weeks of the season.

I agree, Tottenham hotspur may still not escape relegation this season because the 1-1 draw they played against Leeds has reduced their chance of escaping relegation at the moment, and before they can escape relegation they need to win their last 2 matches so that if Westham also win their last 2 matches, they win still finish above Westham and escape relegation, and Tottenham hotspur facing Chelsea football, Tottenham hotspur lack a fighting spirit and they are not playing like people who want to escape relegation, and since Chelsea has ended their losing streak and they are seeing to finish 5th place, i believe Tottenham hotspur will lose against Chelsea.

Tottenham cannot win the remaining games of the season. When you see a team that will win their remaining games of the season you will know. Tottenham was presented with an opportunity to remove the pressure from them a bit, but they wasted it by failing to win at home. If Tottenham is going to beat relegation, it will largely depend on Westham performance. If Westham win their remaining two games they are more likely going to survive in the premier league than Tottenham because Tottenham can't beat Chelsea this weekend. But I have doubt if Westham can beat Newcastle away this coming weekend.
