Many underage children gamble on online gambling platforms, the fact is that where I live, many underage children play online gambling for example football betting sometimes there are volunteers. Think of him as an admin who has an account on the gambling platform. KYC has been verified, so the underage children entrust the money to that person so that when they get a win, the winnings are deducted by the admin fee.

But there are also sites that do not limit the age of some casino games such as slots so there are lots of slots at my place, but even then you have to be careful playing because it is illegal in my country who is caught red-handed will be prosecuted, therefore when it comes to almost average age gambling platforms have a minimum age to gamble on their site, usually age exempt gambling platforms, they want to make money by dirty means attracting underage children to gamble using them by cheating which in the end ask for KYC after the child wins big then if he doesn't can complete KYC then the money will be frozen.

The minimum age for gambling may be between 18 to 21 years. Still, in reality, children under 18 years have started gambling especially if they can already visit online casino sites, making it easier for them to access gambling. And if they find a crypto casino, they can play gambling even more freely because many crypto casinos don't apply KYC too strictly.

Casinos restrict underage people from gambling but also have a hard time knowing who is underage. Legal action can be taken but the kids won't be jailed like the adults and maybe the kids will be put in a rehabilitation center to cure it.

That is simply not true. There are still a few casinos without KYC requirements and most do not require KYC upon registration, only upon exceeding certain account or wagering levels. So the underage still have plenty of room in crypto-space to gamble.

maybe your question already has answers from several people here but I think we all already know the rules of age that are allowed to gamble are always 18+ and always be warned on any site with an 18+ warning and if there are minors who are still gambling secretly with a small amount to avoid KYC, I believe they will be caught by the system soon.
and of course we all know that all gambling always avoids all risks that make business complicated or cause losses, such as cases where minors enter gambling and the site allows the child to gamble and after the authorities find out about this problem the casino is prosecuted by law . so the casino has to deal with the law and spend some money to solve the problem. So I'm not sure if any gambling site will allow minors to still gamble or even if the casinos find out about this it will get the child banned immediately.

I believe the standard age to gamble is a minimum of 18 years as this means the company isn't dealing with minors and they are considered fit to make informed decisions and seeing these states have gone an extra step of bumping the minimum age means they want responsible people to play on these casino's!

As for online casinos following this minimum age, I suppose it's a yes and no answer because were  KYC isn't mandatory I suppose minors find their way here to test their luck, and were KYC is almost mandatory this is a no go area for children.

Honestly I don't think so, but morally upright gambling platforms need to stop such clients from having further access.

I started gambling only after my 18th birthday, so I can't really tell if casinos would allow underage gambling. But so far I haven't seen any articles where parents complain that their underage children where accepted at an online casino. I really hope that casinos take the age restrictions serious and don't allow any children to sign up at their websites. This doesn't include children that use fake IDs to try and get access to online gambling. When it comes to alcohol and gambling, there is a reason why we need to be at least 18 to do those things. In both cases there is a risk of becoming addicted and especially at younger age the risks are higher. Another question would be also why casino always ask for KYC documents if they don't follow them anyways.  I do think that most casinos are serious about their age restrictions and don't want any children on their website to gamble. Also kids usually don't have any regular income, so it's hard to gamble regularly for them. If casinos would deliberately accept children to gamble then the parents could take legal action against them ask for the money back the children lost.

That's right! I don't know where romero121 is coming from with that statement, but it's definitely not true that every person who signs up at an online casino has to go through KYC verification. At least not on most of them. Usually, casinos only ask for KYC stuff when you've won a big chunk of change or when you're trying to cash out your funds.

Also, I don't think it's true that there were more decentralized platforms before, because they are still a relatively undeveloped area of the gambling industry.

There's a casino still not set a minimum age to gamble because they're not licensed and not asking any KYC, this will make underage could enter gambling. I don't think you can sue those casino with this reason because those casinos have been operating for many years until now.

However asking minimum age to gamble is pointless, a 21 years old person might have a childish personality while a 15 years old person might have a mature mind like 21 years old.

Age to gamble is 18 and above but the issue is that when it comes to online and registration I don't see why the individual registering won't lie just to gain access to any site. Is something that even the online betting site can't handle.

That happens in some countries where every database are functioning but in some countries it doesn't and that's where underage gambling begins, and it hurts to see a child of 15 engaging in gambling.

In physical and online casinos there are rules that you can read and that includes the age of people who can gamble. If you agree of the ToS and stated that you're in the right age to gamble, you can already access the platform.

However, even now I believe there are gamblers who are lying about their age just to play. It's not a problem at first but if happen to win huge and the casino requires you to abide on their kyc procedure, that would be the reason for them to hold the money and not pay. Because your true age will be revealed. So they will apply their regulatory rules to slap you of the reality that you can't gamble as an underage.

        -  Here in our country when you are in a squatters area, most of the children here who are in elementary school know how to gamble, not just in the casino. The age of 18-21 in California is precise because I have someone living over there I've asked him and he said 18 too, this is not the same in my country because there is no law forbidding kids to never go near gambling, every age is welcome if you know what you are doing, I mean if you know how you can operate a gambling website, the only prevention is the gambling platform age requirements, and I don't believe that all online gambling platforms have this restrictions on their websites unless I am wrong.

How do we expect online casinos to adhere to the minimum age to gamble when many of these casino are non KYC. How are they going to regulate or known who is below 18 or 21 years? Things can be more regulated in a KYC casinos where each gamblers would have to drop there information to verify whether they are up to the minimum years to gamble.

If that was the actual case, every casino and gambling site will be taken down because they do not ensure that the customer age is above 18 or 21 as respective to the states in US.
You will not believe me but I have gambled when I was 16, or maybe you will believe me, nothing hard to do. KYC is enforced recently and 8-10 years ago no one literally asked for it.

"21" is the legal drinking age in most states in the US, because casinos set their minimum age to allow liquor to be served on the property. So I guess .. if the selling of liquor is not a problem, like with online casinos... then the legal age can be reduced to 18 years.  

How weird is that.... you can drive when you are 18 .. but you cannot enter a casino.   It is more dangerous to other people, if you are young and reckless and you are behind a wheel of a car.... than sitting in a casino and enjoying yourself.

We literally don't know. Some kids may be faking their ID's just to gamble in an online casino or sports bookies. For me though, I would not let my kids gamble as early as below 20. I don't want them to get addicted to gambling or be stressed out about things like this. They can watch sports if they want to but I will block anything that has to do with gambling. Once, I have seen my kid watching a streamer who also uploads videos of his gambling activity, I instantly took his phone and unsubscribed from that streamer on the popular streaming site, and then I picked the option to not let any videos related to it to pop out on his phone.
I don't want it to be a spark of anything. Kids nowadays are wise, they could easily access anything and we must be responsible at keeping those things away from them.

In most countries even outside the USA they have a law that you have to be over 21 to gamble,it was over 18 until not many years ago.Even where I am now any people wanting to go and play to the land based casinos they have to show their national ID otherwise they will not be allowed.

Even in online sites that are from this country the same rule applies,without KYC you cannot play.This is for FIAT casinos though as for crypto casinos you can play up to 500-1000 dollars without KYC in most cases but if you want more then you have to verify yourself.

I don't know but rarely you will find minors to gamble because of KYC,while in crypto casinos as long as they are not verified you cannot get any data and once they verify for KYC in crypto casinos it is the same,no minors are allowed.

Any casino or gambling platform that is found to be breaching and allowing underage to gamble on them can be faced with legal action for permitting underage gambling and if you are the one who discovers it, you are at liberty to sue them to the court for safety of the society. Many minors know about gambling and are looking for ways to involved in gambling even before they are of the approved age, and although some minors have found ways to cheat the KYC like stealing the details of someone that trust them like family and using it to register for a casino or gambling platform without the persons knowledge, Casino's and gambling platform should try their best to help in reducing the number of underaged gamblers by not turning a blind eye to inconsistent KYC details.

While the minimum age required for gambling varies from country to country or state to state, I know that all countries have a minimum age of 18. Especially considering the physical casinos, I think that they are sensitive about this minimum age restriction because they are constantly monitored by the police or related institutions with unannounced visits. However, I think that this situation is not followed so strictly for online casino services. In addition, considering that the KYC process of online services is not perfect I think that users who fall under this age limit with various methods may violate the age rule by showing themselves bigger.
Any casino business that provides gambling services without complying with the age rule or without any age rule will definitely go through the legal process because this age limit is determined as a result of the decisions taken by the states.
