I am very optimistic about investing in Bitcoin, because I have seen what it can do. I bought my first bitcoins when the Bitcoin price was about $300 and I sold some of those coins when the Bitcoin price was $40 000+ ...so I know that it has the potential to out perform any other investment that I can do.

The only thing they mention Bitcoin is the above section whereas Bitcoin has gained more positivity perception compared to the cryptocurrency sector in general. Which is actually a good outlook. I think the notion of "bitcoin, not crypto." somehow adjusts and also contributes to the public positive sentiment toward bitcoin. They are certainly more aware of the distinction between both of these two.

So do I. I'm generally optimistic regarding Bitcoin's performance, and even the $30,000 mark is quite satisfying for the time being. I was honestly expecting us to be in the mid-$20,000 range with all these incidents occurring in the world (the ongoing war, inflation, the SEC lawsuit, and so on). It's generally advisable to have realistic expectations when it comes to investments, including Bitcoin. It's unrealistic for me to expect a new ATH within 2023, and I'd be happy even if we surpass $40,000 throughout the year. The halving doesn't guarantee us an ATH, and even if that's likely to happen during that time, it won't happen from one day to another. I'd expect Bitcoin to undergo a major recovery somewhere between early and mid-2024.

Personally, as my DCA is ranging somewhere between $27.000 and $28.000, I'd be satisfied even if Bitcoin ranges from $45,000 to $50,000 in the next two to three years, something that most of us are expecting to happen a lot sooner, but as I've said, I tend to keep my expectations as low as possible.

Well considering that NFTs went really hot topic just like couple of years ago, I am not surprised that many would just go and become so optimistic about crypto. I am also sure that this isn't just mainly for Bitcoin for the same reason I mentioned previously.

Surely some of them just took less than a month to learn and handling crypto and they felt waaaaay more secured than their traditional banks for obvious reasons. Decentralization especially with Bitcoin is really the way to go. For "how great my optimism" is, I have been way optimistic with Bitcoin quite a lot since 2017, not sure if I could say the same thing for other shitcoins out there though.
