You got a point though but im not really that taking back on what i have said about its not necessary because on initial phase then having that self realization is primarily needed for you to get rid of addiction.

It's too difficult to quit when you have got the addiction already, you ask me because I have a lot of people around me who are addicted and they are trying very hard to quit but they just can't.
