I'm happy that you were able to cite the differences between altcoins and bitcoin, your statement is fair, so many members here refuse to make their statement complete when comparing altcoins to Bitcoin, they always tend to omit the part that gives Bitcoin the credit that it deserves.  However its true the return of some altcoins can be more than that of Bitcoin with might seem tempting to create a good portfolio but, the risk associated with altcoins investment can be sometimes considered very high. Over the years, we have experienced some altcoins who look promising but later became a shitcoin in the twinkle of an eye, and with coins like that, you'll be loosing all your investment. So will definitely do better than bitcoin when it comes to profit but the risk associated is something not worth trying. On the other hand Bitcoin might not be as good as some altcoins but the reduction in the risk of crashing make it a perfect start for beginners and worthy of a life time investment.

altcoin cycle also relatively shorter in time too so it suited for those that don't have patience, but we should never ignore the fact that there is most certainly reason why bitcoin is sought after by institutional investors  that goes as far as trying to get bitcoin etf listed, this just means those institutional investors are really believe that bitcoin might go really high in the future in term of value not to mention the halving that make bitcoin a lot more scarce.
I do believe that its always better to invest in altcoin and then accumulate the bitcoin so we can get double the profits with this, but some people also like to just accumulate their profit in form of stablecoin which is fine on its own honestly if that person just want to take profit and call it a day. after all then point of trading and investing in the first place is finding profit.

Well, this is nothing new to the industry. There are projects that do hype their records and sales for investors to come in to them and that's a way to manipulate their own projects and if they're doing it to gain sales of the tokens, they're fooling people aren't so they aren't to be trusted.

I think you're wrong. If there were no altcoins, the rest of the capitalisation of the entire crypto market would be in bitcoin. So bitcoin would be a lot more expensive than it is now. But there would probably be a lot less interest in cryptocurrencies. So altcoins are like a lure for new investors.

I agree with you on this. profit or loss in crypto totally depends on the project/coin you invest in. if you invest in a legit and successful coin there are good chances of earning good profit but if you fall victim to a scam project then obviously you'll lose all your money.
But it is not easy in the current market to find legitimate and trustworthy projects which also become successful so your investment gives you profit.

I rightly agree that investing in altcoins is risky. I was once heavily addicted to altcoins and used to invest in these coins. I was able to earn almost good profit for a few days.When the price of alt coins fell I would buy them and when the price of these coins would rise again I would sell them.This is how my alt coin investment process went. But I once bought BNB coin at a high price above 600$ then the price of this coin started to fall which is why this coin is still included in my investment portfolio.

Dear, all matter is your strategy it is obvious if you have insufficient knowledge you have high risk of losing funds. If you do DCA and accumulate Bitcoins at good prices it can give big return and the risk will be reduce.

options exist as the market increases. and those who own businesses are attracted by the fast-growing market. so more developers are creating new projects which ultimately grows more altcoins in the market.

No riak no gain. So you have to take risk to gain. Altcoins are the only way to make very high profits in a very quick time. Again there is a very high risk as thousands of altcoins are being scammed regularly. And this is why trading is not an easy thing. You have to spend a lot of time here if you want to get good from trading and save yourself from losses. You cannot do well unless you are now an expert in all areas. So if you want to trade in altcoins and get good returns, you need to be an expert and take risks at the same time.
