Any good stable miners for 1080ti nowdays?

I'm looking into using my gpus as stable, remotely controlled source of heat, so what setups most stable do you find? I do autolycos/eth/etc/zilhash on amd. whats up with 1080ti/nvidia? is phoenix still the most stable + vs hash output on dagger-hashimoto /(ethash) what else is there worth engaging with? any interesting chains?

Phönixminer isn´t the most stable miner for years now, you have much better option. For AMD always Teamredminer, by far the best miner for this cards. Nvidia i would go with rigel miner.

yeah for autolycos I do use TRM on mixed vegas & polarises (it also supports "claymore api" which is a big plus).
however... being lazy, wtf? why, is it not the Internet here?
go and provide full disclosure here, are you a secret miner of super-duper profitable algo/or next-to-the-moon-fast-coin? Wow... great.

I think there is T-rex miner a specific miner with a huge stability for Nvidia cards,don't know if they still support 1080 ti but 1.5 years from now I was mining with it and it fully supported this card.With anything mentioned there,it all looks gloomy now for miners,no option from what you pointed out is profitable especially with a card which consumes quite a lot of energy,near 200 watt at best performance but it can go much higher depending on the algo you mine.And no I don't know any venture that you can try,I also have Nvidia cards and I have put them all in Nicehash to mine and be paid in Bitcoin,if you don't like they have a built in converter to many coins,so that is what I do now but no,no profitable coins or chains around so far.

The GTX 1080 TI is useless as a mining graphics card and as a heat source today. The dagger-hashimoto / (ethash/etcash) algorithm is now filled with asics and video cards are useless there. Old equipment does not always work stably. If my friend asked me what to mine with such a GPU, I would advise you to sell it and buy cryptocurrencies.

I'd mostly agree with your suggestion. however not valid in my particular case for many reasons. one of the most obvious - I have no physical access to these cards/rig since the end of 2019:)
Also if you have hw that ROIed itself many times over and you can get hold on some wasted excess electricity with near zero maintenance costs you can feel safe mining for whatever purposes. You may even think of getting some new powerful gpus with 7nm process and below, with all the recent moves in AI space the demand for massive compute may turn into something else in the future...

lets see how it goes. I've got there three msi gaming 1080ti
have bad impression on this model/maker overall from polaris msi gaming (these were cool, but consistently slow on memory overclock, and would not allow much undervolt too)
these particular cards all performed 3-5% weaker than the refs.

--mt option seem to be not working so I'm using the pill for mem timings for now, maybe will run as admin later on and see how it does.

You can try out the following miners.

1. Claymore's Dual miner
2. T-Rex miner - For Ethereum and raven coin
3. Phoenix miner - This is for Ethereum mining and it supports  NVIDIA GPUs, including the GTX 1080
4. EWBF miner - This is for the ZEC and bitcoin gold mining

While GPU profitability in mining is starting to creep up a little, I don’t think it’s quite worth firing up 1080s to heat your house during summer. I am surprised that cards like the Radeon VII are still mining profitably after all these years and in the current environment, but if you’re willing to search around you can still find some old profitable gear.

I have video cards that have paid for themselves many times over, but they are still turned off. 1 video card gives a profit of 6-10 dollars per month, and it’s more profitable for me to buy cryptocurrency today if mining is for accumulating shitcoins.I'd love to buy new video cards, but I don't know how to pay for them. In mining, they will pay off more than 3-5 years.

Check out this thread if you are mining ethereum classic. I think you mine very few coins with a hashrate of 47MH.

And with the growth of the DAG file, the hashrate will decrease or you will have to add a power limit for this video card, but most likely you will get tired of such mining earlier. New ASICs for Ethereum Classic will be released soon.
