As someone who values functionality, I believe there is no need to invest in expensive watches. Whether a watch is expensive or affordable, both serve the same primary purpose: to tell time.

If the intention behind buying a watch is for investment purposes, I lean more towards alternative investments based on percentages. However, this decision ultimately depends on the budget available for investment.

Nevertheless, when comparing watches to the highest tier of investments, I prioritize real estate and Bitcoin. In terms of percentage allocation, real estate takes precedence with a higher percentage. This choice aligns with my personal needs, as I require a dwelling for my small family in the foreseeable future.

Obviously, it's better to invest in any asset as compared to putting your money in such stupid things. Infact I feel it's never worth it to invest into depreciating assets. But yes there is one small difference or exception, if you really are interested into a certain thing and are saving for one specific thing then it's better to go with that specific thing only, no point keeping on investing by killing your dreams and choices.

There are people in world who have likeness for things like cars, watches, pets etc and they spend huge money on them. I don't see any odd thing in doing so as everyone of us has the right to enjoy the life and fulfill our desires. If you have to invest then then Investing in bitcoin is the safest option but for long term.

There is no problem in fullfiling your dreams, problem is when you make it a habit of continuously putting money into depreciating assets rather than appreciating assets. So always going into these things is stupidity, better to invest with a goal in mind and then once accomplished buy that thing.

With the last which is digital assets, what do you mean by this, NFTs? We've got already the stocks, maybe REITs are one of it. Aside from that, artworks as well, collectible cards (NBA, Pokemon, etc.).

My priorities are a little bit different:

That's a good reason why you don't need other assets. I'm just trying to diversify with what I think is good for my risk appetite and for someone who doesn't have a lot of Bitcoin, that's all I am thinking if ever someday my Bitcoin investment goes that much. Owning luxury stuff has been on trend nowadays because they can easily increase their value for years but as for me, Bitcoin would be profitable. The term itself have the word luxury which means it is something that is being used by elite group of people. The luxury things used by people were demanding among the specific group of people. So, the value of the product won't be so demanding and the price won't appreciate much with time. The better choice is always bitcoin, and the luxury watches weren't good choice of investment.

Luxury Watches were considered as investment by people who had good sum of amount after meeting all their needs. As long you do own things which does have that kind of appreciation in value over time and not something that would be having that decrease then it would really be a good idea. It is really that good

It may not be right to put all your money in one investment instrument. Of course, if you have money above the normal level. If you have a normal income, you can make a single choice. I like to turn to investment instruments that I see advantages rather than a single investment instrument. In doing so, I will never give up bitcoin.

Diversifying is the reason we make investment in various things and investing in luxury could be one of those things. If you don't like luxury it doesn't mean it isn't a good way to make investments. The wealthy individual invest in luxury because they know how valuable they can become in the future. Just imagine owning one piece of a watch that has a limited supply and the company stop manufacturing and it becomes a rare collectables in the future.

The rich know the true value of luxury that's why they're investing in them, they do it as a show off and also a way to secure their wealth but the poor individual invest just to show off and that's why they don't buy the rare collections but buy what's trending and they lose money.

For now I'm only interested in investing, only in bitcoin and gold. Because in my opinion, these two assets have the most potential compared to other assets. Watches I know are very expensive and may increase in value price but there's no assurance than such watch would still maintain it's value in time to come because I know that the more days passes by the more newer version of watches are being produced which might likely dropped value of the watch you already own. Why not use that money to buy and hold bitcoin for at least few years and enjoy the benefits of holding bitcoin. However, someone like me do not believe in luxury watches and I found it very difficult to have any since my smartphone is there for me to check and tell my time and I am always on phone so it's very hard for me to use a wrist watch.
