It is world wide issue with Cloudflare, not only issue on Bitcointalk.

I was shocked when I tried to access Bitcointalk only to be greeted by a Cloudflare verifications page that kept looping for about 3 times before letting me verify. Then I visited a couple more other websites on the same browser after some minutes and I faced the same problem.

I even turned off my VPN, thinking it was the issue.

Update of my experience.

The buttons words just fine are: Preview, Save [when updating]
Button that is having difficulties: Post.

I think it's clearly something to do with the database connection where insert function exists. It's inserting new data but then because of the error the browser keeps waiting until showing the timeout error.

Same here, There's no way make a successful post without experiencing the timeout error. This maybe the reason why there's a lot of double post on different boards. I'm doing same method as yours by having a separate tab for my post history that I just refreshing whenever I made a post that still loading just to whether the post is already successful or not but most of the time the post is always successful after clicking the post and the screen load.

Yep, I also saw some double threads in some places for today and it's likely that it was retried after failing the first time. So as to minimise that then it is indeed not wrong to use multiple tabs as done with refresh to see post history and 1 other tab to let it run

My post is taking too long to post and then I'm going to get the error It's just taking too long, my internet seems to be okay and fast so for sure, there are some issues.

It didn't show me my post as posted in the thread so I ended up posting my topic 2 times because of the issue so I just delete the 2nd one, browsing some topics seems to be okay and fast as well but I would just encounter the issue when I started to post.

It seems to load for a long time without confirming that the post is posted but actually, if your going to check your post history your going to see that the post is already posted. so there are a lot of posts here in the forum that get double because after clicking the button they just don't know that the post is already posted so they ended up clicking the post button again or refreshing and clicking the post again.



Didnt encounter some of the issues it seems to be okay even though the preview is working completely, and editing seems to be okay as well, it doesnt seem to be a big problem because it is just the loading part that annoys me.

It seems to me that due to the fact that the forum is very slow today, some will make several posts in a row. I found six posts from user Sim_card. I think he will be very surprised when he sees that his posts have been deleted as duplicates. I would be more attentive to the publications at this time.

Well to my best of knowledge I don't think it was a deliberate act because I myself was also facing some difficulty to post and create a topic.
I have spent several minutes trying to submit my post but not working that was when I chatted a friend to asked if actually he is facing same issues as mine, and he said yes that i should try to change browser to use Chrome or Opera Mini it was very easy with these browsers to make a post on the forum. Truly there will be lots of duplicate post which has also increased the task for mods to start sweeping all section of the forum with some duplicate entries.

I had to log in every time I updated the page, and I had to do it often, because I didn’t have the opportunity to post because I was getting 500 Internal Server Error. Captcha was also invalid most of the times, so yesterday the work on the forum turned into constant attempts to get access to the site and make a post. I only got the Cloudflare verification page, not facing any other issues. All pages are opening swiftly, and I have not faced any issues while replying to a thread. Looks like the issue that everyone was facing yesterday has been resolved today. I think this thread should be locked for now.

It doesn't look like a worldwide issue to me, the status page just shows some local problems (which I assume is normal).

It's the first time I've seen this take so long Last time, theymos whitelisted my server's IP. By now I have a new IP, but considering Ninjastic.space is down too, the whitelisting doesn't help anyway.

From my side, I no longer have any problems posting on the forum, but I no longer receive popups for private messages, and I receive each private message 5 or 6 times in a row!

Something is definitely going on, but I can't tell if it's Cloudflare or BTT hosting server or maybe a combination of both. For those who use Tor, there seems to be a way around Cloudflare check when it happens, and all you have to do is select the "New Tor circuit for this site" option. The page then loads normally (currently works for me).

It doesn't work at all for me on multiple devices which has Tor Browser. In the end, i had to use VPN instead with different browser.

Yes it does happen, and it will be an error page, but when indeed you have pressed the post button, your post is still sent, so there is no need to repeat it, try using two different tabs such as the tab for posting and the last post tab, so you can directly check it, the solution I did was to use multiple tabs if you was enter.
For the past two days I have done this way, so you don't have to repeat to log in, which will be time consuming by cloudefare verification, it's annoying for me.

Well, I noticed one more thing. When I use my usual Internet connection, the forum does not load and its stuck on the Cloudflare captcha page but if I switch to my mobile network (Enabling hotspot on my mobile and connecting my laptop using Hot spot), the loading issues resolve but the double posting issue still remains on this connection too.

Whether it is an issue at Cloudfare end or Bitcointalk end when it will be resolved?
This is one of those issues which is prolonged for so long  I never experienced this long issue ever before.

This is the same problem that I had yesterday and still facing today. Moreover, when I finally get to the forum page and try to publish a post, I get an error that I am not logged in and being asked to refresh the page and log into my account. Although I'm already logged in, I can see my profile and recent posts. Only reconnecting through VPN helped, and even then I didn't immediately see the published post, I had first to return to the topic where I wrote, refresh the page, and then I already understood that the post has been published.

You are one of those lucky people whose issues have been resolved. My experience is not as bad as yesterday but still the issue persists.
If the forum is loaded, then the posting will be done easily. That loading on posting problem is resolved 100%.

You can't know until you try, because not every VPN is the same, but it seems that some have managed to at least mitigate the problems with VPN. As for Tor, yesterday it still worked to some extent, but today it is completely useless and practically you can't even log in to the forum because you are constantly spinning in a loop of CF captcha and verification.

It works fine for me, it is true that I encountered some problems using Tor, but when using a normal browser, there was no problem, I was only asked to solve the captcha once.
Cloudflare is not friendly with Tor so maybe waiting a bit or browsing the forum away from Tor is a temporary solution to the problem.
