These may seem very complicated but they're not.  There are step-by-step guides you can follow.  They also have tracking tools you can use to track the effectiveness of your marketing campaign.
If you can't set it up by yourself or you don't have the time,  you can hire someone to do it for you. 

For your business,  brand, or product to grow you have to make a conscious effort to make it more.  Your service or product has to be superb,  but I believe your marketing needs to be better.

Advertising your businesses in a billboard or tv advertisement it would cost a lot of money. For the TV ads the cost would depends on the air time and on what particular show your ads will be shown. With the digital ads like google ads and facebook ads it could help boost up your business and it will have a chance to grow bigger. You can also ask services of social media influencers specially the starting influencers because they will show eagerness and also they are not expensive they would accept your products as sample and in return they will showcase it on their personal pages. With that it can help to boost as well your products.

I have heard a lot of people say and believe that "if your product or service is good,  it would sell itself". That's not entirely true. 
If you can't set it up by yourself or you don't have the time,  you can hire someone to do it for you.  
It depends, marketing is good, but I wouldn't totally disregard the natural efforts of sales of good products and services, it's obvious everywhere. Once you can solve problems, give people what they want and you do it at best, it will naturally promote itself. But this is not the case in a highly competitive market, which is why marketing is very important. Also, there are situations where the person can't be easily discovered, the market will bring out the popularity, at least for prospective customers to feel the taste of what you can offer, it's from there they will bring more customers to feel the good products.

What I'm saying is that both good service/products and marketing have to work hand-in-hand for the success of the business. If the marketing is good and the product/service is bad, it's only a matter of time before this would boomerang.

While digital products and services need more marketing before they would achieve their goal, the cost of doing this could be so scary that it would discourage many.

I have heard a lot of people say and believe that "if your product or service is good,  it would sell itself". That's not entirely true. 
No matter how good your product/services are,  if people don't know about it or are not willing to patronize you, then you will have no customers or clients. 
Some companies sell water and market it so well to the extent that people believe it is more nutritional than normal clean water when in fact it may just be water. 

Speaking about companies marketing their product very well that make some individual to begin feeling like they're using the best product reminds me of Prime energy drinks. I have tasted that drink and it's not as good as they're marketing it still they're getting good feedback as they're now the official partners of Barcelona football club, last season they were partners with Arsenal and the drink isn't old in the industry but they market it so well.

If your product isn't marketed very well, you'll lose customer to your competition that their product isn't as good as yours. For example, Samsung produced more quality phones than Apple but because Apple has marketed their brand very well, it has made it more popular.

Just imagine putting up your business in a city, let's say a restaurant, and if you don't advertise it and just trust your customers words to tell others, you still have customers, but only a few, unlike if you posted very delicious photos online, put ads on the radio, and posted posters everywhere. This can attract more customers and make you known. This is like what I've seen in a video on social media where a pizza store (old) doesn't run advertisements, but their pizza is very good. When someone found it and posted it on social media, tons of customers came in to buy it, and it indeed boomed his store. Marketing is a huge factor for businesses, and they can't run without it.

There will be competitors for the same product category and in order to be at advantage  then marketing strategies should be used in order to make the whole marketing procudure better. If you are in sales industry then marketing should be a priority to make things successful. It is simply the way to communicate with your adience. While in the past word-of-mouth and testimonials stood as one of the best way you could sell your product, I believe those days are gone now cause marketing is sometimes even more important than the product's quality and purpose itself. Just look at NFTs like Bored Ape, do they have any unique feature or use case that sets them apart from other NFT projects in the space? No. As a matter of fact they are cut and dry shit NFTs with no real value to provide for their users, but they got into the millions price range cause they went ham on marketing their NFTs to the point that even celebrities and famous icons bought and held their Bored Ape NFTs for long.

I'm not saying you should stop creating good products all together and just focus on how you market your shit, if you do that you'd get into a lot of trouble and you might even risk getting boycotted by your buyers, level the marketing effort you exert with the quality of the product you're creating, and watch it succeed.

I have to completely disagree. If you don’t have a good product, at some point in time the love whatever marketing campaign created or “word of mouth “ has caused, will wear off. I college I went for business school and these are the types of topics we focused on. The product is always most important, even for inferior products, sure marketing becomes all the more important but if it’s not a good product, sales and “hype” won’t last forever.

It's true, we have so many example of this in crypto space, many good projects came with good utility but they failed because people don't have interest in them and some are because the team doesn't market the project, it's one of the reasons why I always find myself abandoning a project if they are not doing the needful to get their names out on social media, I will just boycott them.

I have seen few products in the real world that have everything in place, good marketing, better product and other, but they still fail, there are some mysteries about if a business will be successful or not, you won't know what you will get, you just have to try, only that it can end up wasting you money.

I have heard a lot of people say and believe that "if your product or service is good,  it would sell itself". That's not entirely true. 
I believe such scenarios only happen when this product is the only one in its class facing no competition and with or without marketing  the product  could still sell as consumers have no choice but to buy it!

Other possibilities is if its the only alternative to a popular product and the popular product just losses its quality or maybe company closes down such a product would win the market without advertising no doubt.

No matter how good your product/services are,  if people don't know about it or are not willing to patronize you, then you will have no customers or clients. 
Sad reality  is that its not always the best product that makes the most sells out there, but kind of like the most advertised will have the most numbers as they have won on the marketing Side of business and this influences consumers on what product  to go with when they are out shopping!
 
I know people will argue and point out a few companies that don't advertise their products,  yet they're successful
For products that make sales based on this kind of concept means they have been in business for a very long time and their clients are of a special clientele which isn't meant to reach everyone ...this is were you find car brands such as Porsche can't compete with companies such as Toyota as they have special client and they don't need to advertise either.

This is what the team of the SUI project did despite the project's unique concept.


Exactly. The amount of competition is the market will only continuously rise, therefore letting your services/products be the way that it is (despite the good feedback and income it is currently bringing you) will soon lose its attraction to costumers and clients. There will always be something new and something better, and for a business to consistently survive these changes should be considered and effort should always be applied.
