I remember being new in this forum  as I have joined multiple signal group , at least I have 3 in facebook and plenty in telegram but after a year? I deleted them all and ending following anyone .
because Never that they bring accurate signal instead mostly are just shitcoin promotion and link giving groups.

Signal groups are certainly no different than sport betting group, they always operate in the same manner. These signal start up by promising correct signal but never actually seem to reliable but although some of these group might be legit as few of the same sport betting group are also legit but its very hard if not impossible to even find these channels and most of them even required partial payment upfront for you to be given their services, so I rather just ignore these groups to avoid falling into any scam project.

Lucky for you that you found a valuable trading group that you can say, worth it.
Nowadays, it is hard to find a crypto trading signal group that is worth your time and resources.
If you are not sure about the group, better watch and observe about the tips that they are sharing to the group.
You will know if the tips are legit if you can see that it is indeed happening in the market trade.
There may be lapses a lil bit, but there should be at least correct signal/s that you think are valid.

You are right that the main source of income from the paid / premium telegram group is the membership fee. This cryptocurrency trading market is risky and instead of doing the trades, they give their members paid signals. Now if the signal goes against their prediction, they have nothing to lose but if it goes in favor, they will announce everywhere, in their free groups in order to attract more people for their paid membership. They will never tell in public the signals which went into the losses or hit the stoploss.

No matter how experienced a trader you are, you can join these free groups to get some free signals and also update about the cryptocurrency news but do not join any paid group. That is what I personally do and will recommend.

Following signal groups can give us good indications on where the market is going to move. Technical analysis has been used by traders for a long period of time now, there are even fully automated trading systems that trade large sums on these signals. The main question with these groups is if the are legit or if they have some special motivation behind their signals. In case the groups shares valuable trading information I would expect them to charge money for it. Because why else would they share their bread and butter online. If the information is for free I am more cautious, it could be that the group tries to convince us to buy certain alt coins the group tries to sell. In the past I have met beautiful Asian woman on dating apps that wanted me to join trading groups where I could get rich quickly. Now I prefer to check my own trading signals based on technical analysis. It might not be as sophisticated, but at least I know where the data is coming from.

Maybe if you can get knowledge in that signal group about Bitcoin, I don't see anything wrong with you joining there. That's why most people like that are pretenders who care about others, but you don't know that they are scammers.

I see a lot like that on telegram, when someone sends you a message on telegram just ignore it and leave it or leave that group channel immediately, because for sure most of them are scammers and they often use phishing links to steal they can take advantage of what they prey on.

I have also heard of many groups that give you signals about crypto currency in telegram or whatsapp group. Here you have to deposit a monthly fee after which you are added to the group. I have not been a part of such a group myself, but have heard from others that there are groups whose signals are often correct, but to join these groups you need a good amount of capital as the returns are very low.

As far as I am concerned having your own experience and knowledge is very important for trading. You will not be able to trade unless you make the effort to learn and analyze your own information. So it is best to try to learn by yourself. I think you should trust yourself instead of trusting a signal group, and this is only possible when you try to learn and understand.

Tutorials are very accessible online, on which you can search, watch, and read them for free and learn trading, rather than relying on those signal groups that are just milking money for sure.Though again, newbies want to earn immediate money and don't want to learn it because they think that if they just join a signal group they will save time, but it turns out that as time goes by they are blaming the signal group for their losses, and more funny about it is that they don't know why they lose on a trade.

If it is something that is considered as "too good to be true" then that's most likely a scam. Signal groups are not reliable source of investing though, but they can somehow help you understand the fundamentals and technical analysis as you all can share knowledge and update regarding the specific coin within the group, but most importantly it is not something that you will pay for, it is FREE of charge. Those signal group claiming to be the best in that field and collecting registration fees, they are most of the time run by by group of scammers.
So, my advice is that - dont just follow what the group has said but you should always DYOR.

Most of the advice here would be "NO," but newbies often don't listen to it even though they are the ones who are looking for our advice. The best way is for them to experience it for themselves a few times to get the most genuine feeling instead of always doubting everything. I also recommend OP to try 1 or 2 times with trading signals from free or paid groups if OP has a lot of money for those scammers.

There are a lot of signal group are offering to join their groups. Some are free some are with fees. You can consider joining free signal group and evaluate if they are really giving the right signals that could not suffer your capital. That is the right thing to do that you had seat back and watch how the trade will work. You should always believe on your instincts and do some research before you follow the signals that the group is giving to avoid losses. Not all signals given by groups are accurate. It is hard to find a reliable signal group that will give you an accurate signal. Better yet do your own research and study the flow of the crypto currency that you are interested in.

I don't think it's recommended, but if you need it why don't you join the community. there are many bitcoin signal community. but I personally look for free ones not paid ones because it's the same we still have to make our own decisions to go into buying or selling the btc that we have

Whether it's a paid signal group or not, most of those groups are just a total waste of time. Because even those who seem to be free signal groups don't publish full, good signals, they always have some Information to hide from you, and they will be asking you to subscribe to their VIP service before you can start receiving some few good, successful signals. Some times they can even show you some past successful trades that they have made, and they will ask you to pay for VIP so you can earn such a profit, and most times, even after you have paid, you will not get any better signal. The best thing is for one to practise on their own and learn to be more dependent on their trading decisions.

Whether it’s free or not, joining this kind of group will only limit your own trading potentials because eventually when you see successful trades posted on the group, you will start to lost your own focus and just rely on them for trading signals thinking that you could be lucky and profitable as well just like them. But hey, trading signals are not all the time reliable and trustworthy. You have to study the market and do your own diligence to analyze the market well if you want to maximize your gains when trading. Trading signals group can be sometimes impressive though but for me, I just don’t see wasting my money and time relying on them.

You're right, moreover what is the guarantee in what we received from those people to be true and accurate, many of us are too busy i doing unnecessary things whereby we create enough time for them, while the main important things we should give time to aren't our main priority, there's nothing too hard in learning bitcoin because everyone of us once started a newbie, we can't rely on those groups on what they will be offering us.

Someone who started cryptocurrency newly should be advised to join a signal group, this signal group is very important to people is a trader and they are trading consistently from my knowledge, their is something I have noticed and I believe that is moving on into this, what I believe is that you can learn signal only if you are interested or desperate to learn, learning this you can start by using a YouTube video to learn, and very important one is the chart of determining when the price will rise and when the price will decrease
