There’s no place in the world and we didn’t hear or see this community of LGBTQ+ directly or indirectly are asking for special treatment. We saw football clubs, companies, countries supporting them and asking for their rights. Society as a whole is always different towards something they're not used to. Until they get used to it, people will be treated differently. Some of the LGBTQ community can be pretty flamboyant and outgoing. If people are not used to that behavior, they will treat someone differently.

People in general should be nicer to their fellow man whether they be LGBTQ or not. Casinos might think about some sensitivity training or something to make sure they are doing a better job of not offending people.

I actually didn't think to research this, in fact I think most of the LGBTQ+ people prefer to gamble in online casinos because of the convenience and efficiency they get instead of having to go to a physical casino.
But it seems that people in the casino or the staff are unlikely to be abusive, as it is clearly against the rules and makes no sense at all.

Can I agreed this idea because most of them might not be that free and have this support to come openly to gamble but somehow may be more comfortable and convenient with online gambling where no one harass them or even discriminate against them as I believe some gambling site are very open. The study isn't yet complete we will have to wait until the end of this year to read the whole study, LGBTQ+ has a huge contribution in many fields and in many industries, society need not discriminate against them and should understand them, in many countries its hard to LGBTQ+ because there are no laws to protect them and if the  LGBTQ+ is not openly admitting he is one he could be in depression and that is why he resorts to gambling.

The world will be a happy place if we stop creating problems to ourselves because I'm not sure perhaps it is the scientific exploration and research that has made some people to think out of the box, we basically have a male and a female by gender but some people feel we need more than that and that is where the genesis of this problems emanated from, why will a man would one day wake up and choose to become a woman, the world is becoming a crazy place, I thought humanity over religion is what we need, seems we need the religion to bring sanity to the world again.

Time is changing and people are getting used to different lifestyles, different approach in life.
And yes, owners don't care about your gender preference, so long you are not making any trouble and spending your own money.
Maybe, if you go into a casino in a fairly remote area, where people knew each other, there will be talks behind your back.

Does the research tell, at least, an accurate source of that data about the harassment of the LGBTQ in a physical casino? I mean, how it can be determined? Only thru surveys? What kind of harassment that these people are experiencing inside a casino?

As far as my main understanding is concerned, maybe the research only focuses on a few locations but the result obviously can't be generalized.

Honestly, as involved in gambling for many years, I never encounter news or related things that members of LGBTQ are being harassed within the casino premises. I believed most casino gamblers only care to win and do not bother with that kind of stuff related to LGBTQ. We can even notice a great social activity between fellow gamblers and staff.

Most casinos staffs also cared for their profession and casinos are strict on the part of how to entertain guests and customers as these staff are carrying the name of the said casino. Maybe the survey has been done wherein LBGTQ is accepted in the society? Not sure about it.

I doubt that what triggers LGBTQ to gambling has nothing to do with harassment, for me just like the rest of us. They want to enjoy and have fun and to some extend  win some money just like the rest of us.

Just last night I went to a traditional base gambling and saw some members of the LGBTGQ community and just simply playing, simply as that. I doubt that they are there because they feel isolated or something. In fact they are all laughing and I even saw them getting drunk and no one cares.

Well, I may quote another text from the article which clearly states that LGBTQ+ people face harassment in their life and casino is not different place where they do not face the same situation.

The study flagged that 71% of the interviewed LGBTQ+ adults admitted that they have experienced some form of discrimination or harassment in their life.

The complete case study and research will be published later this year and that report may reveal more shocking facts about this behavior by the society as a whole. I wish they come up with something to stop this act of people towards LGBTQ and treat them as a normal human being.

Well, the article says that the research is ongoing and that the results will be published next year, but I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from a single study. I don't know where you live, but I find it hard to believe that my local casino discriminates against LGTBQ people, and, in fact, I've known people who work in casinos without ever hearing any such stories from them. Cases of discrimination, although they still exist, could not happen in a business open to the public like that because it would be reportable.
