Let me say that Bitcoin has taken it stand and theirs no point of carrying out campaign of Bitcoin like before or imposing Bitcoin knowledge to children which we know that with time those children you are trying to teach bitcoin will know of Bitcoin through a social media. I have come across so many topics pointing at teaching children bitcoin why Bitcoin has already taking space of it own as decentralized currency. Do you know that with the awareness of Bitcoin now you don't need to convince somebody to invest in bitcoin, why before you have to convince people to invest, bitcoin is now a choice of investment which anyone who invested will Google out the process of investing through internet direction, I love to say Bitcoin has plant itself with internet dispensation of information.

Continuous campaign will not gonna hurt Bitcoin community to maintain awareness about its decentralization. Also Bitcoin user is still few percentage to the total population of the world to achieve real mass adaption. Bitcoin has already a campaign for itself but sharing Bitcoin to other people for awareness will increase the speed of adaption which is our end goal here.

As long as banks keep stealing us our money and government fiat keeps printing unlimited. Bitcoin needs to fight for adaption relentlessly.

Unless that person asked for your advice, say you are a financial advisor and someone's asking you to recommend them something that they can invest in and the parameters that they've presented to you matches perfectly with bitcoin, is recommending them investing in bitcoin still not the way to go? I think that in extreme cases it wouldn't work because people don't like being forced to do the vidding of other people but if there's a way where the convincing is understanding and polite, I think it's going to be different.

I do not agree with this. There are still many people who have not heard about bitcoins or have wrong knowledge of what it is. Still tell people about bitcoin or advice them to find out what it is. Tell Children when they are of age, but do not force them. Tell people about it but do not force them too. If the people who know better about bitcoins stop talking, the people who use it for bad and are promoting a bad name for it do not rest, and it means people who never knew about bitcoin will most probably fall into the hand of scammers and people that will deceive and give them the wrong information about it, that is something that should not be allowed to thrive.

Yep it's one thing that made Bitcoin more popular. A more reason to make someone invest in BTC though is if the bull run is about to begin. If you wanna help someone struggling in this recession time, they best jump right into investing BTC because it will literally save them.

For children, I guess they can learn more in the coming years when BTC is pretty much a household thing. Right now there are still people very reluctant to invest and that's one reason why its also good to campaign still.

I mean Bitcoin is a great investment in our experience we already believed in the potential of Bitcoin and we know what it can do, it doesnt really need to be taught to our kids something like that because Bitcoin is going to adapt by itself, I guess it just doesnt make sense if we are Bitcoin investors we know the potential of it and its kinda waste if we doesnt teach it to our family or kids right, I mean it waste bad but we just need to make sure that we don't force them because it wouldn't really work at all if they don't want to and doesnt want to learn it because without knowledge if was just useless.

It's actually a good thing if we did campaign for Bitcoin but at the same time, it wasn't really a bad thing or a waste to teach Bitcoin since it could easily help or actually might boost Bitcoin a little bit. Bitcoin was already greatly adapted these days we can already see even banks starting to adapt Bitcoin, there are some banks here in my  country where you could already buy Bitcoin on there platform.

regarding whether children will be able to get information about bitcoin well!  well I'm sure of that, children nowadays are very smart, they have a very big curiosity, even information about anything they can get well, especially information about bitcoin.

btw now is an extraordinary era, we can learn anything self-taught on the internet through tutorial articles or videos, when people type what is bitcoin in a search engine then all information related to bitcoin appears, that's really awesome.

Even as that, bitcoin still need people to campaign for it. Those who do not know bitcoin but do not know how to go about it and do not know how to use it need your help. You still need to tell them more both the benefits and the risk. And as you said, learning never end if you are alive. So there some areas that other person doesn't know that and you know so you have to tell the person what you have known in bitcoin so when you were saying that bitcoin is campaigning for itself, I was not comfortable because people need to hear it from you with good examples to convince them. I still have some friends and friends of them whom I have to convinced to search about Bitcoin, not buy it. It's two different things. Making them aware of what Bitcoin is a great choice and I think it starts a natural chain which makes them feel not forced to buy or invest, maybe you should try this too. If they need any help buying, you let them know and clear their doubts but do not force them to buy or invest X amount of money for Y amount of time, that sounds stupid.

I think the situation is similar to tons of other areas of knowledge.  For example, laws are available online, and urt many go to law school to learn them, and those that don't usually rely on those who did if the time comes. Similarly, there is plenty of information about Bitcoin online,  but it doesn't mean that Bitcoin shouldn't be taught at schools and other educational facilities. Learning about something from social media carries less trust that something learned from people who are perceived as credible, and a lot also comes down to navigating the oceans of information, learning how to filter it out and what to trust.

You will be surprise the number of people that have zero knowledge about btc, they haven't even heard of it and they are in the urban areas not some remote locations.
I think your assessment is only base on this forum and other similar forums as well, but in the real world the number is not as high as you assumed. So I feel there is still a need for the campaign to keep spreading far and wide.

Bitcoin can't talk for itself unless someone introduces it to another one.  So I don't believe on saying products talks by itself since one need to know what is the product is and it needs someone to introduce it to them, may it be the store or the advertisements created for it. The same things happen to Bitcoin.  No one will know Bitcoin if no one is introducing it or showing it.  After all Bitcoin is just a code and does not talk human language.

@OP promotion, campaign, marketing, and advertisement are needed for something to propagate especially when the target is citizens all over the world and Bitcoin is not exempted on that.

If you want to value something, don't come from one side, so those who generally use Bitcoin instead of gaining knowledge, are even more lost. Bitcoin is not just a coin that is traded on the market, there is technology in it, and blockchain technology is not only used in finance but can also be applied in various fields.

So for me, even though Bitcoin is popular now and many already know about it, it still needs to be campaigned because not a few people have heard of bitcoin but don't understand how to invest properly. We know that investing in Bitcoin without knowledge is very risky, therefore it would not hurt us to campaign about Bitcoin. The upside is that is that if others invest in what you already own, your investment goes up and you have an unrealized gain. But of course convincing your own grandma to buy BTC won't make you richer, but convincing tens or hundreds of thousands of rich investors will do the trick. That's why we from time to time see CEOs, billionaires, big investors and other wealthy individuals promote Bitcoin - they already bought it and want others to pump their investment.

Well personally I like children to be children, it depends on the age, if the child is at a very low age I believe there is no need to tell them about finances that is very complicated, maybe get piggy box in the shape of Bitcoin and lecture them about saving, the shape is a great picture image for the minds of kid till they are old enough to understand better.


Although I think we can just say that Bitcoin has gotten everywhere meaning we should not talk about it. Yes people may have heard about Bitcoin but it's different actually knowing more and educating other can help reduce the chances of them getting scammed.

Teaching your kids financial education is not a campaign but intentional parenting. I don't believe in teaching kids about Bitcoin, they will likely be too young to understand the technical aspects, but they can understand basic financial education at that age and slowly get to know more as they grow.

Social media is a great tool but do not rely on it to teach your kids cause one has to be good at filtering through to get t the good stuff.
