Bitcoin is considered as the safest asset to put your money into here in crypto space, because it's value has been appreciating every year passed. However, it is still advisable to invest you what you can afford to lose because nobody knows when will bitcoin will pump again, thus your money will be considered at temporary loss especially when the market is down. It's not only the patience that will be tested when your holding bitcoin, but also your understanding about bitcoin price movement. If one is aiming for $100, he must keep his bag tight in the next at least 5 years. There' still definitely no guarantee that bitcoin will hit that mark this coming halving, which everyone is anticipating for another bull run.

Yeah, being patient is the key. And I am considering this year and even the previous year where the market is still far compared to bullish years, a blessing in disguise where we can grind harder in order to invest more. I am not sure if bitcoin at $100k is attainable in this cycle, maybe $90k+ but still it is many times growth to our capital if we already started investing. I am doing a monthly DCA but I felt like I need more money to invest. My investment might grow 400% but this might not be that big depending on the amount we are investing. I am looking for something big, a life-changing profit is my goal this coming bull run.

The one thing that will break our momentum to hold until it reaches $100k is the market volatility and FUD, we never want to miss our accumulated profit, it's ok to HODL but if you keep missing your accumulated profit and you dedicated your coins to holding until reaches a specific price is not good and you are losing a lot, we have to realize our profit from time to time, this is the reason why we need to follow the chart and the market.
The theory of buy low and sell high always applies here in Cryptocurrency, it's not your dedication to making a profit in the future but to gaining a little profit when you can as the market moves from bear to bull.

It depends on the purpose that a hodler is hodling the coin. If you want to sell on a short time and it reaches the price of $40k, it is a good time to sell but where you want to wait for the long hull during the bull then such price wouldn't be good for sell. $100k is not a long time going by the last bull run that it got to $64k. This time, the expectation is higher than before so I'm optimistic that $100k will be easily touch after 2024.

The bear market is always the hardest part because you just feel like the market was not moving and in most of every pump in the market there was an opposite dute it could be a good opportunity for daily traders for sure but for long-term investors this is where they HODL and just start to accumulate more bitcoin for profit waiting for Bullrun. If sure are lucky since you are able to buy bitcoin at the price of 20k$ I did buy some when the price dropped to around 15k$ which is a great buy considering the market price of bitcoin today was around 30k$.

Honestly, it was not guaranteed that the market price is going to skyrocket, but it's always great to position yourself in the market and accumulate Bitcoin while the market price is still low, It might take years before the Bull run but the Bitcoin halving event might be a good indication, I think it could trigger the market price of bitcoin for sure looking at the past halving it did trigger it, but still wasn't guarantee if it even going to reach the all-time high or even 100k$ but still it is an indication, at the end of the day no one knows so just accumulate and HODL!

Some investors will sell - but I'm pretty sure I won't. Given the volatility of bitcoin prices - selling your bitcoin at $40k can never be considered a mistake. The price could have corrected for a number of reasons - it was like today that the bitcoin price almost touched $29,600.

This strategy can be used to build your portfolio, especially in an effort to increase the amount of bitcoin you hold. But I also believe that - if you are patient in the long term then you will get bigger returns. Remember this one - there will be selling along the way if investors and traders profit from the price increase even if the price doesn't touch $100k.

This is very personal and depends on individual goal. Right now some people are selling already because they've reach their own target while people who are aiming higher and ready to endure are buying till this moment. The goal is to hold till it reaches and surpass previous ATH but this goal some is unrealistic for some holder due to some unforseen circumstances and force them to sell. In such situations, we can not say this people are not patience enough. The goal is to make profit no matter how little. When to sell depends on how satisfactory you are with the profit. It won't happen but don't be surprise when you wake up tomorrow and see bitcoin at 100k  don't presume too long years before it can hit the most anticipated 100k.

... Why bother selling? Just keep hodling imo. I don't think we'd see the market go below $25k anymore, at least for the next half a year anyway. And since halving is next year, we'd probably see a pretty steady movement of the market till the following year, where according to past halvings, the point in time where price suddenly booms up. I certainly wouldn't sell at $40k, I'd probably wait till next year at the very least before judging whether to sell or not. A glad development if it goes up though, probably means there's higher chances of going higher than the last ATH.
