Your thoughts on the impending Litecoin Halving?

As I've said before, there's a lot of hype surrounding the LTC block reward halving. The craze is not going away soon. We should expect market prices to rise, especially when mainstream media have been promoting the event like crazy. For long-term holders of LTC like me, this is certainly good news. But those who want to get in now, may have to wait until this is all over. Otherwise, they'll be buying LTC at a high price.

I hope this upcoming halving event will solidify the cryptocurrency's position on the market. Maybe developers will become interested in building applications on top of the LTC blockchain once demand grows at a non-stop rate? We really need LTC to be among the top 5 coins in market cap. It's a tried-and-tested blockchain network that's almost as good as Bitcoin. Who knows if LTC is close to being valued at $1k per coin? Just my thoughts

The hype can boost price to x2 x3 before halving like Litecoin experienced in its previous halvings but some times like this halving, it seems not working with a same pattern.

About 12 days until Litecoin halving and we are witnessing very calm movements of Litecoin last three months.

Zoom out the chart, I see a chance for Litecoin to move to its strong resistance around $230 which will need to be broken out if Litecoin wants to make a new all time high.

Many people are expect Litecoin's halving will have a same effect like Bitcoin's halving, while the reality Litecoin's halving has no effect for the Litecoin, Bitcoin's halving do give effect to Bitcoin and other altcoins.

I guess it's about the hype and people are just way too hype to make a search and they come here and write the topic on their mind. I can't say if that's a good thing for litecoin or a bad thing. I mean this isn't really shilling considering litecoin doesn't need that, but it also looks like there are hyped weaker hands as well sometimes.

In any case, we can see from here that there are a lot of people who are super excited for it and they can't wait for it to start already. I believe I could be one of them, I mean not this much of course but I do like to see the halving as well, not starting the 7th topic for it lol, but definitely invested some of my money already and waiting for it to start going up.

Since you said you invested in anticipation, i would love to know what you think about accumulating, I saw a pre-halving event on Bitget with LTC rewards, with your experience what do you think about such event on the exchange?

Litecoin has good fundamentals and excellent support, so there is no doubt about the future of this asset. Do I believe that halving now will help Litecoin grow and set some price records? No, because the market doesn't have the right conditions for big growth. Do I believe that Litecoin will beat its previous ATH in the next bull run? I do, because Litecoin has all the prerequisites for that.

As it has been discussed several times, supply is not the only factor to move the price sometimes, even if the supply is limited, the price will remain constant. Therefore, LTC block reward halving is a variable in supply, not demand.
Demand may increase in the short term, but I bet it will not last for more than 6 months, and then halving will not have an effect.

Of course. I wouldn't expect LTC to retain high prices for long because of the low demand. Investors prefer other coins with shiny-new features. Especially coins with smart contract capabilities. Nowadays, it's all about NFTs and "meme" coins. While LTC has Oedinals inscriptions (NFTs), it's certainly not enough to lure the attention of serious investors in the crypto/Blockchain space.

The upcoming halving is just a week away, so I'd take advantage of the short "pump" to sell my coins for a profit. Once the dust settles, you can buy more coins to prepare yourself for the next block reward halving. Rinse and repeat. Who knows if developers start building useful apps on top of the LTC blockchain soon? Just my thoughts

Today, many people may be expecting a lot from Litecoin halving than years ago. My point of view is on the gambling industry because many gamblers today use Litecoin as their main cryptocurrency for their betting habits. I've seen it, I also received some of it from different gamblers as a tip. Or, just upon looking at the series of bets in the history of my favorite gambling site, I could see a lot who pick Litecoin as their main currency.
About the value growing, that I doubt. There may be usage but if it's just circulating and no demand coming in before it happens then it might just move a little bit.
I have just a little balance on this currency so I won't be part of those who will be expecting a good amount of growth. I may be happy with a little pump.
