the best approach is to play always a few events in the same pay slip. or play many single events.
in case your pay slip is a winning one (also partially) just cash out.
If you count in the long term... you get more and more respect trying to hit the big cashout/jackpot.

My mistake is simple.

There's actually nothing wrong with your decision from that story you've told. I mean you predicted all 5 games correctly and you were down with just that last 2 matches that would potentially bring you $1200 in comparison with $200. We gamble to have fun and win, so whatever decisions you've made at the very beginning of betting, don't change it, especially when you're winning. If you happened to accept that cashout offer and then the 2 other matches favors your bet, then that's what I call a mistake, for altering your bets. Nobody knows the outcome after all, so there would always be an element of luck associated with every analysis you've made when you have your final prediction in sports betting.

To be honest, I would never cash out, for example while waiting for a few games to finish. I prefer to wait until all my games are completed, and if it's a win then I'll take it. Greed is good if you know how to harness it. Unfortunately for us gamblers it's something that we can't really be expected to do especially those of us that are either gambling for profit or chasing a win goal for some reason. I've been like this in the past too, counting all my losses and using it as a reference of how much I need to win tomorrow to break even and all that. I couldn't bag any win I acquire cause I always have to bet on it again to chase bigger wins, and on days that I was able to break even, I still push through to get wins and a positive win rate so I can bag some profits but as you guys know, I didn't and what ended up happening is that I lost more than what I gained in the process.

This is why we call it gambling because you would really be risking money for a certain bet, you cant really tell on what would be the next result or outcome on which those games would be having. What if you have decided to get that early cash out and didnt tend to follow with your remaining bets for you to win big? If it turns out that you were right but you had able to cash out early? For sure you would really be having those
words on saying that you should have that rejected and continue on the bet that you do have. It would be all on the same process i should say and this is why its better not for you to have those kind of
conclusive approach because you might be able to say it back on those things that you would really be tending to do so..

Then in the post-game (Or bets) you try to improve by seeing which bets you won could have gone wrong, and which bets that went wrong were not mistakes.

So, basically you learn to live with the results, as the phrase says; "no regrets..." or its equivalent in the idea; "... I lost was a mistake, " or the classic; "I won, what luck".

I'm sure all have faults and I myself have repeatedly made the mistake of missing my big win in one mistake.
My last story is when I dreamed of getting something big and buying a 4D lottery ticket and randomizing some numbers to my liking.
Before the number was drawn, a friend told me to buy a ticket that I had previously bought at a price of 500$ and I thought this was very big for me. After that, I sold my ticket to my friend.
It was very disappointing after a few hours I received the money the lottery came out and I was surprised the numbers I compiled got the jackpot and my friend got around $ 7200 and I could only stare at how happy my friend was at that time but I was actually disappointed selling lottery tickets to my friend. Greed is one factor in a situation when a player has won a good amount already but instead, continues to gamble aiming for bigger win which at the end emptied his bankroll.  But in an initial session, if one is playing a luck-type game, I do not think that there is a factor that will prevent him from winning big because the result of luck-type games is random so the gambler would not say that he has a big winning, to begin with.

If we are talking about those who won 1kx to maximum win, I believe it is their bankroll that prevents them from winning a really huge amount of money, since the minimum bet winning result is way lower than the maximum bet winning result

Do they really make mistakes?? Yes .. do I really see them as mistakes? No... The questioning will begin; why ? I'd say that every strategy that's being used by any gambler would have been thier first priority, which was certainly believed to carry every possible weight for a win, but sometimes don't... Now, mind you they've always got serveral options in mind when wagering.... So how's that a mistake?? When from Thier analysis, everything was well set for a win??

It is painful. To lose just at the very of winning but it is human nature to ask what is the worse that can happen, to dare to take risks.

This is not greed of course, its just a human nature to regret not winning that much or missing the opportunity to make a profit. Can’t remember if I have the same situation but I know I regret some for not betting on a team that I know will win the match, this can’t be a mistake though but a missed opportunity. Don’t be too emotional with gambling, there are risk and winning is not there every time you play.
