This is unthinkable! I sent the company a photo of my ID and a selfie with a piece of paper with my name written on it. But even this did not help to unlock access to the wallet

Didnt they respond yet?

Same situations repeat to often to be accidental.
I agree that KYC/AML are needed in some cases to stop money laundering, and some other crimes. But it can't be a purpose to block assets and then ignore customers.

I expected this to happen. Sorry for your loss. But we need to stop Freewallet scammers, otherwise every day there will be new victims.

The stories shared here highlight a pattern of targeted theft and manipulative tactics, yet people still entrust their funds to this platform. The community needs to question why individuals continue using Freewallet despite its notorious reputation.

Agressive marketing, I guess. And also they use some well known brands as their "partners".

You can tell more about your experience. Maybe we will be able to help you, for example to prepare official crime report.

I suggest to create your own thread on this board and include everything you have in your side and theirs too.
If you have contacted their support include the chat/message logs there too, if what solution they are currently making (if there is) to solve your problem.

Yes, thats very important to make screenshots of your tickets and other proves. So that administration won't be able to act like nothing happened and someone is just trying to worsen the reputation. Because often they try to delete negative reviews by telling that "issues were solved" or "the problem occured just because of the clients fault"

I ve got a new private message from another Freewallet scam victim. This person didn't allow uet to make this situation public. But as far as I understand, Freewallet not just blocks accounts. Administration also sends coins to another adress without any users permission. Looks like they steal assets even before a client could (theoretically) pass KYC.

Dear Sir or Madam

We deeply regret that you have been the victim of a scam.

You can help us to resolve your fraud case.
Data is the most important asset for our fraud investigations.
If you provide us with data on your fraud case, you can help us with our investigations.

A fraud report is of course completely free of charge for you.

If you would like to support us in our investigations, please use the following form to submit your fraud report:
https://www.cryptorensics.com/en/report-scam/

Please read the instructions for reporting fraud on the website carefully.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us using the contact form on the website.

We cannot guarantee at this point that we will start an investigation in this case.
However, if we receive sufficient data, we will certainly take a closer look at the case and then assess whether an investigation on our part could be expedient.

Thank you for your assistance,
the entire Cryptorensics - Team

Give them a chance to prove themselves by submitting a free scam report, and let them work and let's see how good their service is, I have second thoughts on their service but if they can help you with this case I'm willing to change my stand and may even recommend them.
It's good that we have a platform like this to help the victims of many scams here.

Yes, any help would be useful.
Especially if talk about not just a service that allows others to steal savings, but makes this by itself.
I mean that I'm 100% sure that Freewallet issues occur NOT because of someones mistake. Administration is systematically scamming clients!

You can tell us your story privately (If you don't want to share this information with others). It's really important to provide to the competent authorities as much information of Freewallet scam attempts as possible.

Hey. Thanks for making a compilation of cases proving FreeWallet is a scam and a fraud. These bozos need to get taken down already.

Another case I would mention here is
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5248998.msg63277585#msg63277585

FreeWallet robbed this dude out of 5 BTC, which is now worth alot more than it was back in 2020.

Now get this. Three and a half years later the FreeWallet team RESPONDS to the post in an attempt to make their support look good. Whether they time these slow replies because they knew the user would have long quit by then (Users last online was July 2020) or if they wanted to make their Customer Support team look good by responding to something that was three and a half years old I'm unsure, so I just assume both. HORRIBLE service. I don't understand how they've lasted so long while frauding people out of so much money.

Also, Elon was ONLY refunded because he was Elon. Elon had the power to crush down FreeWallet's reputation and sue their company and FreeWallet is obviously never going to be prepared for something like that. So of course, they let his funds go and back to Elon.

I hope everyone here lives a great life.

As we see, this strategy works. Newbies think that Freewallet is safe because their support is always active.
