Last 2 night I signed up to an online bet called betking (become a KING) and I bet a virtual stake with 1700 naira to win 1,438,540.92 naira, but the game was lost and the bet that made it to lost was the last one I added, before I added the last one that made the winning to be this amount, I was having double thoughts like should I make the winning a random figure 1.5 million or I should stake it at 1.3? But out of greed I refused to bet the game at 1.3 and I added the one that lost the bet, what a pity?
Greed is one thing that gets some game lost, the stake we are supposed to win out of greed we add another that get the game lost.
Out of my own experience I have learnt my lessons, but I don't believe that this opportunity might ever come again because I don't bet often, on a second thought this my story is what makes some people put more interest on gambling.

No matter if you win or lose in that crazy odds bet, you will still lose because you played on a known scam casino that has a bad reputation in this forum. Even if the luck gets you and won that bet, the casino would rapture your luck by not paying you your money.

This site may not have good reputation here on this forum but they are well trusted and reliable in them of payments and you don't have to undergo any KYC before withdrawing your funds, Maybe you said what you said because the betting site is owned by a NIGERIAN.

BetKing is a scam casino, it's better for you to choose other casino that's more trusted and reputable, check the representative account in this forum whether the account has negative feedback or not.

He has lost the bet but if he would have won it, he still could not get it withdrawal as betKing reputation is not good and they may have held his withdrawal.

And yes, greed is one the biggest factor why most gamblers lose in gambling. If the gamblers aren't greedy, they wont take extra risk and feel happy on their winnings. The money which you have won in gambling is in your hand, but if you put it again in gambling, then it is again at risk which may result in loss or a win.

Winning and losing are common in gambling, so there's no need to blame yourself when you lose with your bet. You're good enough to be honest about this. We all know that we are only human beings who can never be separated from greed. That's why for me it's something normal. As long as you play wisely and understand the risks, that's good enough as long as you don't become an addict.

I make sure what other friends have said in this thread is true that Betking is not a safe site for you, even if you are just a small gambler you should play on the Stake.com site because it might guarantee your safety and comfort in gambling, at least when you withdraw money there won't be any problems when you play at BetKing.  

Yes you are correct, I will try to check other betting site, but does not mean am underating my home base products . I don't think I might be a good casino staker because I have never go through it.

With that kind of odds which is 600+, you can consider your bet as loss since it’s a very low chance win that kind of bet especially that you selected 10 match for your parlay.

You only wager around 2$ which is very small amount. I don’t see a reason to regret on this kind of bet considering how low the bet and high the odds on your pick. I’m wondering how do you decide to pick that kind of odds while you are not playing too often. That’s tisky.

Just like the typical thing that we get into with, for which on these bets that if it's too good to be true then you know what it is. Let's set aside the casino and let's say that you bet on a reputable one. And with such small bets, do you really think that little chance you're getting the jackpot and will hit it? Yeah, it might be different and thanks for clearing that up. But I guess everyone here is giving you a good advise and it just so happen that they have the same name.

In any case, if you didn't win and you feel that it is because of your greed, then you need to control yourself next time. Although majority of us has experience greed as a "limiting" factor in our gambling. And it will take a lot of us mentally to overcome greed so that we can win in gambling.

Just remember though that gambling is base on luck so you don't need to force yourself looking for juicy odds, in my opinion.

I think she just stated that because you trust the site because it's from NIGERIA. The country of origination of a service doesn't reflect its reputation because there's always a scam everywhere including in your country. You really should not play on casinos which have been marked with a multitude of scam accusations on Bitcointalk. If you ask me, you are too loose with your money and it comes at no surprise to me that you lost.

Another poster has already made you aware of their bad reputation, so I hope that you will consider where to gamble more carefully in the future.

As far as your betting story goes, if you want to bet without a plan, without logic and without a strategy, that is completely up to you. But you should be aware of the risks of ignorance in such a case and not bet a lot of money.

Greed is not the same as blind greed.

Even though there is no sure thing in gambling, no matter how small the odds might seem, we should not be too greedy in looking for ways to double our winnings, which reduces our chances, which we could have used to win a game with the little we have predicted.

Even as you have played the game and the game has started running, there is always an option for you to cash out your possible winnings when most of your selected games are winning, so that last game you added before it got to its turn could have had a cashout of some reasonable amount made available for you. Maybe you didn't check or you allowed the greed of wanting to win a round figure to blind you to what you could have taken home.

If you are trying to win $1000 with $10 is possible but highly unlikely to happen so the expected winning amount should be closer to reality or lets say it should have better odds so you will have the high chance to get it. Anyway still even with less risk still it has chance to lose too so it all narrows down to your luck nothing else so if someone try it once in a while then its okay but if they keep such as life goal to hit the jackpot then they will be screwed for sure.

Exactly, but the game rules is that you cant cash-out the bet  because it's a vitual bet and not like real soccer's game, it's easy to bet because it doesn't take much time for the bet to end.

The ticket in the above post is obtained from Nigerian gambling site known as the bet king. Here's the link to the site where the OP played the game https://betking.com/ it's not a casino based gambling site and I doubt if they have representative in this platform.

When I converted 1700 naira to dollar, that is just $2.2. That is a small amount of money.

might be a small amount for us but it could be sizable for them, for example, I just found out that the average monthly income in Venezuela is about $5.

Exactly, but the game rules is that you cant cash-out the bet  because it's a vitual bet and not like real soccer's game, it's easy to bet because it doesn't take much time for the bet to end.

Imagine, you are indeed a risk taker, visual betting is one of the worst betting I have ever seen. As you can within 30 minutes spend all your entire funds by just playing some games, even when you win few before you know it you will spend all at one's by just wagering more. 
Sorry Mate, you should try and avoid visual betting sometimes, it has the highest population of making the company Rich and drying gamblers pocket.

I think from greed no one has achieved good things in life and this is especially even more true in gambling.Greed just tells us to keep playing and after we have lost a sport bet it tells us that we should find some big odds to parlay them together so we can win big and recover everything.
