How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment?

I had exchange tokens in my portfolio, but after the FTX scam and bankruptcy, I sold all my exchange token holdings. I don't have any exchange tokens in my portfolio, and I advise you to sell your exchange tokens if you have any. These tokens are not meant for investment.

even Binance? well though they are prone to issues like hacks and scams but standing
that long might show grace and support from many holders.
though indeed that i support you for that because  those coins  are really risky specially in long term , we have no assurance at all of how much it can climb and how long it will stay safer.
but nothingmore , this is a risk we must take if we wanted to earn more than supporting Bitcoin(that is what most altcoin supporters think)
just make sure that you will not put all the eggs in one basket,
try to diversify or try to manage buying bitcoin for the safest way of treating your crypto investing.

BNB isnt really just a coin which is really that symbolizes Binane exchange, if we do really try to look indepth about its usage and overall utility then i could say that it is really just indeed worthy to be considered. Cheap transfers and fast confirmation in terms of transactions then it do really give out that kind of usage on which we do really appreciate. Somewhat i do agree on the time that
other people been saying that price or value would really be reflecting out with its exchange which we know that Binance is the current top exchange platform that we do have in the market
and it would be always reflecting out in speaking about its reputation into that coin value which it is really that standard. So far i dont have that BNB nor other exchange tokens
because i do really put up my focus on most Layer one coins in the market which i do see to be more worth rather than on touching with layer 2's but well this does depend
on a certain investor on which one he would really be focusing into.

aside from the fact that in holding exchange coin we need to see how trustworthy the exchanges are and how reliable they are to ensure that our investment won't go to drain, evaluating performance is also of essence, in this case, BNB, even though this coin has been long standing but the price chart for this whole year shows bearish, added with the fact that the exchange itself got some lawsuit which means easy dump for the coin itself.
right now its highly undervalued but sometimes i think that maybe these coins in general are overvalued.
thats the thing that needs to be observed too when it comes to investing in such coins, certainly the performance of the platform itself is also the one that determines whether our investment will be success or not when it comes to this kind of coin since the coin are usually having the function of being utilized within the platform itself.

It is possible that in the future, Coinbase will launch its native token for the Base network, which can later also become an exchange token for this exchange. And it would be wrong if the activity of Coinbase is associated not only with the price of a new exchange token, but also with the native token of the Base network.

Dumped. I bought cake, governance token for PancakeSwap long ago. Around $3.4 i guess but suddenly it start dumping and stopped at $1.40 value which was disappointing. Although now it pumping as like others altcoins but still it need to be 2x to reach the position where i bought it. It has $44 ath , and i believe it could be a worth investing for bull run. Although it still stuck with low price. Besides i have some amount of bnb as it is the most trusted altcoin for this time after ether

I have some UNI, sold most of stake and few are just lying around since I received their airdrop 3 years ago I think. It has never dipped below ~$3 since I received airdrop and started holding no matter how much bloodbath was there in the market.    (if you check CG, it'll show you $1 it was just when it was launched).

Other was Pika protocol's Pika token, they withdrew the token and investors were returned funds.

Last one was ZigZag, it is  ZkSync dex, I got airdrop and sold it, it's been to ashes lately.

Regarding CEX exchanges, I think I only held KCS many moons ago I dunno how I got it, but I sold it.

do you still trust exchange tokens? have lost my belief couple years ago though I still have some few Binance coin in mine and some gambling tokens but they are just staying because I don't wanna sell at losses .
but what is my priority now are those coins that have been in long time now and yeah I have 1 meme coin still in folio .

I have few Uni (Uniswap) tokens, hodling still since it's airdrop, surprisingly it's price is still close to what it was when it was airdropped. I don't have any CEX tokens as I rarely use centralized exchanges, CEX tokens give some kind of benefit on their platform if you hold their tokens but if you don't use CEXes in first place there is no benefit to you and I'm not fan of getting in for sheer speculation.

since it is airdrop tokens so i think there is no hurt if you hold them and died (but since Uniswap is strong project I think it is still safe long term)

Not that good right now. Thinking about selling them off. I have invested in projects like BNB and BIT tokens before, which has been rebranded as MANTL but i am not seeing much hype about it. BNB is also going to launch their own L2 which can be good for their long term growth but there are currently so many L2 that users and developers will be confused about which project they should invest in. The issue with Binance has not ended i thin and this exchange can be affected again which will affect BNB price.

Maybe you have used KuCoin exchange before but you only forgot it? And maybe they have an airdrop event before where users can get some KCS token. I never saw KCS got trendy and it might even decline during the bear market. So your decision of selling it quickly might be a good idea.

wise move right there, i also think the same way, the future with these exchange token in general aren't that great, I just think that they could hardly increase in the future maybe because they have reached their peak value or either there is no meaningful events that could drive their coin prices up again unlike back then.
IEO right now wasn't something thats sought after but instead its retrospective airdrop that doesn't directly deal with the use of these exchange tokens at all.
moreover if yous ee the recent chart growth, you can easily figure it out the fact that many of these exchange tokens aren't even having rally getting left behind by so many altcoins that are top 50 out there, I think its not lucrative investment anymore with these exchange token.

Uni was first that started retrospective airdrop trend, there was no way you could know beforehand that there was going to be an airdrop. You only needed to be lucky to get it.

Yea, I certainly used to use Kucoin exchange, but I don't remember how I got those KCS tokens, could care less now.

the market is very unpredictable and exchange tokens can give good X's. Tokens of large exchanges bring profit over the long term, they are not so profitable. I think the biggest plus is that such tokens can participate in various reward programs, which is also an advantage of owning them.

Among all the exchange tokens, KCS from the KuCoin exchange looks the most attractive, the price of which has increased by 200% over the past 3 months and brought its investors a good profit. And the biggest disappointment over the same period was the BNB coin from Binance, the price of which increased by only 15% over the same period.

It's still continue. It will never end. Exchange token's performance based on the performance from the exchange site itself. I have been investing on kucoin token when it was at the bottom at the middle of this year and it's going to the moon along with all of tokens in the exchange sites. As long as the exchange site has its platform alive and it will help the token to regain its value again. I hope that everything will be going to the moon. Im in really nice profit right now. I don't even need to mention other token.
Despite not being pumped significantly, almost all of the exchange tokens have been performing quite well up until this point, which is not a problem at all.
Look at some people who have been commenting above you. KCS is the best token. KCS stood out with its impressive performance, unlike the other tokens. KCS is having lots of benefit for its users.

I think that's the most important part, we are talking about something that would be a good amount of profitable in the end and should be something that will be decent with the rewards. I get that it does feel like we are going to end up with something that should be grateful to people who keep it long term. I get that we are not going to get to a point where things like BNB do end up with something that is greater with many years down the line.

I remember when it first started up, it did ended up being higher and higher and got a lot of return without a doubt. I get that it is going to end up being a little confusing at start because we are talking about a bigger return water only a big time, but it will eventually get there.

The exchange tokens should not be considered in regards of making huge profits from investing in them. Those tokens are kept as gas fees in the exchange and the project team pays less attention to the token, all they want to care for is building their exchanges into a great empire so why consider them the best option for investment. At any point they can get more value but not in a bigger ratio that you expect and that alone could be a time waste, in which you should have invested the money mostly into Bitcoin and some other Altcoins that would give better return of profit.
Not underestimating their worth, keeping Bitcoin aside for now they have more risk control than any other altcoins as it will be difficult for them to rug their token, as long as the exchange remains so your token remains and that becomes one best attribute they have over others.

you have choose  a great journey then , having Dex token that almost die or you expect to be dying yet now there is an update and the Dev are making their APP good again?
