I saw this cartoon and thought it was pretty funny. It had me wondering if a real flyer like this existed that people could print out and put up in places. I’ve seen threads about stickers, so I’m sure there must be a thread with printable promotional material. Anybody got a link or maybe someone wants to help create cool printable stuff like this (talking about the flyer in the cartoon, not the cartoon itself).

I don't quite understand what you mean?  Would you like to print a flyer where everyone can tear off a slip?  And what would you like to be written on it?  Usually those who provide a service, such as tutoring or babysitters, make that kind of flyer, but what sense can it have with bitcoin?  However it is easy to create this and you can do it with any advanced word processing software like word.

Bitcoin Promotional Graphics from Bitcoin Wiki. It has very limited graphics, logos and simple text "Bitcoin", "Bitcoin accepted here", "We love Bitcoin", "Donate Bitcoin".

These graphics are basics and simple, not too fantasy but they are Printable Promotional Graphics and I think if you have yet known about it, it is helpful, usable and printable.

Then what would be the financial advice on those detachable strips apart from "you don't have enough Bitcoin?" I mean, if I have to do a printable graphic like that, would I be the one to decide what to write or would you have to give the information to fill in there? I think this is cool, perhaps.

It's just an old fun gag that got traction on 9Gag back then, whereas people stick these on public walls and such. Nothing serious; just harmless, unadulterated fun.

For the sake of promotion/marketing — of bitcoin in two cents, lmao? Nah? It's funny actually, when you read it especially if you invest it, and comes up the realization that you don't have enough bitcoin.
Also, bitcoin ads can only be seen on online platforms, huge city screens, unless its on billboard.

This stuff is cool as it is sending a message to bitcoiners to continue accumulating more bitcoin and hodli since it says you don't have enough bitcoin Traders can also learn from this promotion mayerial and might not trade their bitcoin anymore or newbies that thinks trading is another means to acquire more bitcoin fast but loss the little that they have on trading. Personally, this picture has given me a good advice OP. It's fun to see and read such promotion material as a bitcoin investor.

In 2023 I don’t think you need to promote Bitcoin this way. Almost everyone, except maybe some very old people, know what Bitcoin is. Especially if they are actively investing their money.

You go on Bloomberg or cnbc and you can see the crypto prices on there. It’s always on the news, especially if something bad happens. The Ftx scandal gave it almost daily news reports.

Back in 2013 was different. Back then nobody knew what it was. Either way this flyer would be pretty cool to hang and see what it would do to people who tore it off.

Indeed, it is all just in good fun. I’m not trying to start a movement or anything. I did a quick search to see if there were funny promotional style flyers like the one in the Simpsons cartoon shown, but couldn’t find any. I figured maybe some folks might try their hand at a flyer design for our amusement if they had the time.

It is really a smart way to promote bitcoin and a trendy kind of sticker too different from what I did then when I printed some promotional stickers to help spread the word about bitcoins in My step to promote bitcoin. If this kind of sticker is produced and posted in public places like school hallway, train-stations, airports, supermarkets and other places where there are usually a lot of people or where people go through, It will be very effective to make people be interested in bitcoin especially when made with a very attractive design.

Such an ideal like in the cartoon is very funny, in-fact, I am simply laughing here, but then, as funny as this looks or feels, i still it as a very interesting and strategic way of advertising bitcoin, and any other stuff anyone might find interesting to advertise.

But then, if anybody would want to advertise bitcoin using this idea as their strategy, then material have to be very large, both the inscriptions on it, and also have something very captivating as the headline, this is so that it will attract attentions and people will actually be interested to go close and grab a slice, any thing small and not captivating enough might make the ad unnoticeable by anyone, most especially if its pasted in an area where people are always in a hurry going about their businesses.

https://99bitcoins.com/a-collection-of-the-15-best-bitcoin-cartoons/ They have cool stuff for Bitcoin but since this is copyrighted and some that you can find online, you can post on the service and hire someone to create a Bitcoin flyer or do a contest, cartoon flyers are good promotional stuff to promote something it's some sort of reminders because Bitcoin is already popular.

I'm sure so many people have heard of it and cartoon flyers is a mean to check them out, a compelling cartoon with good motivation words will do the trick to promote Bitcoin to general masses.

I saw "promotional material" like this in Japan actually. Even though it's considered littering, somebody took a shot and still put it on some walls or poles.
Found a striped paper with basically exactly the same about 5 years ago, just saying "by bitcoin, if you want to know how, call me" in Japanese with a phone number.

And some stripes wer gone on the one paper.

Even after reading the comments I did not understand what do you mean by flayer. As the lic seems to be a type of meme and if you wanted more pics like the one you have posted you should run the query of btc meme + any cartoon you want in it. If there is any will be shown otherwise not. I hope that's what you are talking about.

Because flayer is another thing and it has nothing to do with the pic you just shared. If you talking about pics in which such statements are written then you should search for funny BTC quotes or statements. I hope you will find something helpful. If still not, then please try to elaborate it a little bit more.

Interesting, this looks innovative, atleast bitcoin can also be communicated to people in this manner, am also seing something like this in such format for the first time, i wish to also see something like this coming from with full force whereby people will easily and conveniently be motivated about bitcoin, such a little advise could go along way in reachi out to people about bitcoin adoption.

What do you mean innovative bro this kind of advertisement has been up and running way before I was alive, there's nothing innovative about this. The only thing remotely innovative about this whole stuff is that they outrightly said bitcoin instead of beating around the bush.

Very funny though but some one created a thread about this cartoon which he saw on YouTube past months ago. The one thing I noticed about this  is that it arouses one ability to being curious about something. In this case we are talking about Bitcoin and Bitcoin is a new technology which is still gaining attraction. If one sees the flyer and reading it, one would be curious to ask around or quietly do their due diligence to learn more about Bitcoin.
I think this would work in some places not everywhere. Like in my country, this type doesn't work here. They would think it is misleading and try their possible best to avoid such.

I think that the simple fact of doing it as mentioned in some of the posts above is a rarity in itself, I mean in times of the digital age, surely something like this would have little impact, but maybe if that material was used with Extended Reality ((XR)) it would surely have more impact than a "band-aid" put anywhere. By the way, extended reality had its climax with the pokemons.

I think Homer's intent or his message is not literal. The message itself at all is what counts, it's not like we have to go to the moon like in the case of bitcoin.
