When it comes to crypto exchanges, finding the best fit for intermediaries like us is crucial.  Does anyone have any go-to exchanges that have served you well? I've heard some chatter about a few options, but personal experiences and insights are gold.

Would love to hear your thoughts!
If you are the type that loves privacy, I will like you to use a decentralized p2p like bisq and Agoradesk. I use Binance for my trading because it has good features and very easy to understand but you have to provide them with your KYC for easy trading. I also use Kucoin which I think is more easier than Binance and you might not do the KYC requirements but you will be limited to a certain amount. KYC requirements is mandatory on CEx but it is also dangerous because your information can be used against you,if it is needed by the government or an enemy.

If he don't want to give his personal identity, he can go with decentralized exchanges. But in my opinion, if he want for a better feature and experience I prefer CEX especially with Binance. If he's a not reputable person, I think it's okay to go KYC but if ever they do something bad with users identity, trust me they will not choose. There's a lot of users in CEX and most of them did a KYC because if they don't KYC they can do a limited action only in their account. There are some cases of stolen identity in the past so if they're a reputable person and want a better security of their identity, just go with DEX.
DEX is the best for Privacy, but not for trading experience and features.
I agree with good trading experience with CEX like Binance,

I'm also a Binance user and do KYC, but not fully keep all assets in the Binance account.
Seeing how CEX collapsed in the past, it was because their CEO was greedy and manipulated their users' funds irresponsibly.

But about Binance with CZ, maybe this will be a pretty good CEX.
If he has a problem, there will be many reputable people looking for him and he will have to take responsibility.

But so far it is still quite safe, and Binance is known for its $SAFU fund that will provide security for user assets in case of hacking or unwanted events that harm users.

Would probably have to give it to 1 of the big 5 (Binance, Coinbase, Bitget, Huobi, Crypto com). Practically all the same, with differences really coming down to token variety and range of services and kyc requirements, as for those looking for one without I believe there's really only Bitget and MEXC left, used to use Bybit but I think they require it now. Also Can't forget DEX like Uniswap if you're looking for a decentralized option.

I think Binance is still the best for newbies, mid, and veteran level traders. I do not care what anyone says, I do not care what reason you could give, that is the answer to it. If you can't use it for some reason then find something else but the answer to this question itself is the fact that Binance is by far the best for anyone at any level and it's the greatest.

I understand that some people dislike the biggest names, there are people who dislike just the biggest in anything, but I am not one of those people. There is a very valid reason why binance is the best, just like there is a reason why bitcoin is the best, that's why I buy bitcoin and I keep it in binance, that is how I did so far and it helped me a lot.

Bybit, Kucoin and OKX are now requiring KYC. For no KYC centralized exchanges, he can try MEXC or Huobi.

He can read these which can be more helpful: KuCoin can still be used without KYC
Looks Huobi requiring with KYC for long time and not available trade or withdrawing assets there without passing KYC, I have active with Huobi exchange almost three years and my country stopping operation access with this exchange without use VPN. I think for OP need to check with all exchange are available in his country accessing without use VPN.

Exchange market best service for intermediaries trader and investor looks Binance, Kucoin are opening service P2P for selling your fund to be cash based on our local fiat currency. Best exchange market is not only get support with list many kinds of altcoin but also directly have place for us selling stable coins to be fiat and not required withdrawing to local exchange market before cash out to our bank account.

I can only suggest you exchanges where I have traded before. I have tried many exchanges, but Binance turned out to be the best one. It has the best user experience and best support team. There are also lot many trading pairs available in the exchange which improves variety for the traders. Only one thing, if someone doesn’t like will be the KYC mandatory feature. Okx and Kucoin are also a great options, you can check them too.

Most of the experienced people will do the same suggestions of binance for the new people.Because binance is the good exchange and good reputation. Many coin which listed in the the binance had give huge profits to the investors. When the coin listed in the binance the investors use to keep their part of the funds in the binance for the future profit. All the pair listed in the Binance can be changed to BNB when you want to cash out for the emergency. So this is important reason to choose the binance for the trading.

For  intermediaries Traders and investors you can try Bybit and kucoin exchange .Bybit is my best option for those who want to trade cryptocurrencies while kucoin can help one in making investment decisions ,Been using both since i have been into cryptocurrency and I'm yet to have any issue with both, they are very good platforms for crypto enthusiasts.

@op there have been many good answers above, i'm sure you've got the right answer....binance, kraken, bitfinex and kucoin are pretty good exchange choices for beginners and brokers, the four exchanges above have high liquidity, comfortable UI and UX for beginners, recommended level of security and have good CS response, but it's also important in note that CEX is indeed highly recommended for traders but for investors it is not recommended (for long term investors, keeping it in a personal wallet is highly recommended)

Let's be honest if you are new to cryptocurrency trading. A centralized exchange will suit you. Especially if you are a small trader just starting or exploring the cryptocurrency market, you will end up having a centralized exchange.
Because I can relate and I can see a lot of people doing that.

It is obvious that you have not visited the KuCoin exchange for a long time, otherwise you would know that mandatory verification has been introduced on the exchange since July 15, 2023. Thus, all new users must pass KYC during registration, and existing users must pass verification or withdraw their funds from the exchange.

Kucoin was no mandatory KYC in the past and appeared in kycnot.me so many people did not notice details and quickly thought it is non KYC because it appears on a website for non-KYC exchanges.

Crypto exchange Kucoin to introduce mandatory ID checks

Decentralized exchanges (DEXs) are a good way to go if privacy is really your concern and not doing the KYC. But your options are very limited however. To cash out straight from DEXs to fiat, it’s quite impossible in my opinion.

However, DEXs fee aren’t cheap and fast than CEXs which is the reality for years.

Unless you have a trusted merchant in your area that you can meet and do P2P transaction who values your privacy, that would be at least possible for me.

There are many cryptocurrency Exchanger are available for traders and investors. Some of them are good. I think Binance is best exchanger for crypto trader and investors. Another some Exchanger are good like Huobi,Kucoin, Okx etc. But Binance is best exchanger. Traders can Trade here early Who are passed KYC. Binance trading volume is big from another exchanger. And investors can invest here without any confusion. The can buy Coin or token from Binance and it can hold. I think you will  becaualso agree with me became Binance is best.

The biggest "exchange issue" right now is that the market has been hit by the SEC debacle and it is no longer clear who has the best trading fees.

Binance.US is basically a swap now so the benefits of paying trading fees in BNB are basically gone - sure you can send stable coin to Binance to make buys but now you've paid the fees elsewhere, paid the gas to move the stable coin to Binance.US, etc.  With Binance.US in the state it's in now, about the only thing I can consider using it for is to swap alt coins into BTC if they happen to pump into a profit zone.

Coinbase got rid of "Pro", opting for a paid service instead. So now if you pay for that you'd better trade more than the value of the sub price for CoinbaseOne at 30 bucks a month. Probably not very hard to recover the 30 bucks, but it's yet another "subscription".

Where are the U.S. users doing their basic "buying/selling" at now without losing volume to excessive exchange fees?
