Today Turkish teams got terrible results in the Conference League. It wasn't a surprise for me that Beşiktaş lost by 5-0 as they have been showing an inconsistent performance since the beginning of the season. However I have been thinking that Fenerbahçe have a potential to win the Conference League but it was really terrible for us to lose against Nordsjaelland by 6-1.

It wasn't a surprise for me that Beşiktaş lost by 5-0 as they have been showing an inconsistent performance since the beginning of the season. However I have been thinking that Fenerbahçe have a potential to win the Conference League but it was really terrible for us to lose against Nordsjaelland by 6-1.

Loses can make a club decline in performance, it is part of the game and we shouldn't be terrified when our favorite clubs fall behind the necessary scores, rather we should hope they bounce back strongly and become more aggressive in league games. Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe are the top clubs in Turkish SL and losing in the conference league doesn't seem right. Turkish clubs crumbled in previous games and I totally understand because they're human after all and losing is a general thing but losing with such high goals and scores, ofcourse that's exceptional not impressive.

Another interesting match is Aston villa vs Legia Warszawa, both have the same point but Legia Warszawa tops the table with a goal difference. A win will determine who's going finish on top of the table.

Aston Villa have been on a great run lately and if not for the loss to Nottingham Forrest in the EPL, Aston Villa would have 9 wins in a row. Aston Villa also won Group E confidently, beating not the weakest teams AZ and Legia and now together with Eintracht, Fiorentina, Lille entered the next stage of the conference league.

Emery has apparently found a team where he can unleash his coaching talent and if I were Aston Villa, I would already think about how to keep him for at least one season.

Beşiktaş cannot play well in such matches this season. I could have thought that they would lose the match, but I did not think that they would concede so many goals. They really surprised me in this regard.

yesterday was not a good day for Turkish teams, losing is part of the game and this can happen to all teams, but when a team suffers a very humiliating defeat, then it becomes a reason for warning, and when two teams from the same country They suffer humiliating defeats then it becomes a cause for great concern, honestly I was shocked by these two teams' results. Both Turkish teams had a horrible day yesterday, I did not expected this much to be fair. I did bet on brugge to win, but I bet on Fenerbahce to win, it is a very very weird feeling to be THIS wrong. I mean I have been wrong before of course, I have wagered on teams to win that lost, that's common, we all have that. However, this could be the biggest margin of being wrong I could be, like normally when I say one team will win, they may lose like by 1-2 goals, or even 3 goals maybe.

But, I do not remember a single time where I thought a team would win and they ended up losing with 5 goal margin, that is definitely a new feeling, I can't really see how that would be all that easy to lose, like you really need to be intentionally bad to lose this much. They weren't a bad team neither, at the start of the season they were second in rank only to Aston Villa or something to win this cup, so they are a very good team and seen as one of the best teams in this cup right now, losing 6-1? That's very unexpected.

Slovan Bratislava and Lille managed to defeat their opponents away from home to qualify from Group A. Only the last match will decide who will be the leader of the group.
In group B, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Gent also managed to defeat their opponents.Both teams are out of the group while Breidablik will most probably finish the group without any points.Gent are doing well this season.
In Group C, things are a bit complicated.V.Plzen are undefeated as leaders, but it is not yet clear who will finish 2nd, but Dinamo Zagreb are likely to finish 2nd.

Actually we played this match with a good squad except for a few injured players.

We will play the last match in the group at home against Spartak Trnava (the weakest team in the group). Nordsjaelland and Ludogorets will play each other. We will win our last game, I'm sure of it, if their game ends in a draw we will finish as the group leader, if Nordsjaelland wins we will finish second in the group and go to the next round. We had a very bad result tonight but it's not over yet.

This is not an excuse, there may be injured players in Fenerbahçe, but conceding 6 goals is very bad.
İsmail Kartal is a really bad coach. Fenerbahçe has won so far because its squad is very good. So I don't think Ismail Kartal has any influence.

It was also disturbing to see that FC Nordsjælland was able to play more than 20 attacks against Fenerbahce despite having less possession. This should not be the case if a team controls the ball around 60% of the time but can create only one third of the number of chances. I don't really know what happened during the game because sometimes the entire momentum can turn against one team, but since they are doing so well in the Turkish league, this was certainly not expected.

However, losing by 6 goals and only having one goal back was very embarrassing defeat, if you look at the quality of the two team, they were almost equal and many also made Fenerbahce the favorite in that match.

It was a really heartbreaking night for Turkish people. Even though I'm a Galatasaray fan I'm still supporting the other teams from my country which are competing in European competitions also. I'm not one of the people who want those teams to lose in those competitions also.

Because above all else all of these teams are competing there to bring more points to your country and increase the country coefficient at the same time.

Country coefficient is a very important thing for the first league of that country. Because the higher the points are the more quota you have for European competitions.

Fenerbahçe is the favorite in the group and is currently in 3rd place.
They definitely need to win the game on Thursday, most probably they will win, but they might not finish the group as leaders.

There is not much to say about Beşiktaş.  Thursday's game is of no importance, but a win would be good for the country points.

Cenk Tosun scored a beautiful goal. Although there are many missing players in the team, Beşiktaş is doing their best. Coming from the youth team, Emrecan Terzi is playing for Beşiktaş in a professional match for the first time. We would like to watch more young players.
